Am not really a alcohol person, but the trip to Brewerkz @ Riverside Point actually made me enjoy drinking beer. Other higher alcohol content drinks will have to be trained slowly...still remember my horrible experience at The Balcony.

So back to the food at Brewerkz...

The beef burger is too dry for my liking, same goes to the fries. Barbeque combo set is ok but not enough to make a good impression. The pizza is good though.

Oh ya, it happens to be one of the waiter's birthday yesterday & he thought mine falls on the same day as his, but never did he realise friends are holding belated celebration for me. In the end, we got a jug of beer on him, haha! Maybe in exchange for the piece of cake we gave him, or that he like one of us, lol.

All in all, Brewerkz is a place with nice ambience, good service & great beer. Definetely going back there again anytime soon.

Minds Cafe, a place for you to play games, eat & drink at the same time. It's located somewhere near Paradiz Centre & it is damn noisy for a place in the middle of the night.

We called for the package which include 5 free drinks, cookies, potato chips & 2 hours to play their great variety of games at $49++. The one above, something to do with taking out the sticks without the monkeys falling, is our favourite. Quite dumb, I know...you won't want to know the rest of the games we played cos it's dumb too, lol. But it's fun lah, just relax & play around.

Looking at the number of monkeys I had, everyone can guess that I'm the biggest loser. Punishment is to draw different brand logo on the hand, idea sia. I had Nike & LV, Sh had Stussy & Chanel, Cindy had my zhao bai Ah Pek, Pei Wah had Adidas & Polo. Can't remember what Wawa had.

Pasta Cafe has a new opponent! Modestos, an Italian restaurant located at Vivocity serve decent spagetti as well, with 100 times better ambience than the former cos you get to view the sea if you take the window seats.

I think these are the best cream sauce based spagetti I have ever tasted. Creamy-ly rich & filling. I can even taste the cheese. Yummy~

Lim jiu again, haha.

With the birthday voucher from Thai Express, the first meal, without a doubt, is to have a sumptuous feast there. With the goal of getting my complimentary french~ red wine, we ate our heart out to achieve at least $40 in bill. It came out to be $50 in the end...not easy for two SLIM ladies k. Our stomach almost burst as we left the place.

Ok, this is gonna be the most expensive meal I have ever ate with friends. With another friend, the two of us ate up a total bill of $120, somemore it's after a 10% discount, thanks to dear Wawa :) But it's ok, I don't feel the itch, because I don't have to pay! HAHAHA.

The restaurant is Sho-U @ Central, the place where Chang Wann Wah & her sis are working at. Delibrately went to eat there just for her...work at such an expensive place sia, like that very hard to look for you all the time you know.

Food review wise, the place is beautiful with great ambience. You enter a red entrance first, followed by a black passageway & be greeted by their white dining area at the end. They do fine dining, serving comtemporary Japanese fusion food. Each dish looks exquisite, but ar, it's not my type of food. It's too costly...saw the first picture? It's duck breast meat, give me 6 pieces of thin meat nia for $18++ leh.

Dessert is not expected of us but that zar bor came & asked in a Ah-Lian way, "Want dessert? We got a 3-in-1 speciality, give it a try, very nice. Bla bla bla....ok ar, ok ar... (off she goes to make order for us)" Really know how to "A" money sia, lol. Can't comment on their service cos Wawa served us & she has never been polite to me before, still refuse to change my chopsticks which dropped onto the floor leh...so ya, don't spoil the restaurant reputation lah ar, haha.

Conclusion is I don't know how to appreciate such fusion food & I feel that they are kind of overpriced. If not for Wawa & the great ambience, I don't think I'll ever go back again.

The hunt for good food continues with....Brewerkz? Haha. Oh ya, and thanks to everyone for your birthday wishes, each call, sms & comment made the day special for me. Appreciate the stuff your have done just to make me smile. Till then...
