Apathy is a guillotine to relationships.
A bitter good bye to my old friend.
What is left here?
Who will faithfully accompany me on my journey?
Myself.

What now?

Discipline.
Mind and body.
To perfection.

Up and down,
Left and right,
Forward and backward.

Three dimensions, through which we can decide to move through.

Unfortunately for us, we cannot control how we translate through the fourth dimension. That is to speak, time. We can only move forward through time, at least, as far as our current technology is concerned. No matter how much relatively slower or faster we move through time (the faster you move through space, the slower you move through time relative to others due to time dilation), the motion is always forward.

Then again, do I actually move through space? Suddenly I see in my mind's eye a console. Consciousness, it is called. What if, every time I choose to take a step forward, a roll backward, a jump to the side, a climb to the top, a drop to the bottom, I am actually manipulating the world around me? What if I could control my universe, instead of controlling my body?

If I was in the kitchen and I decided to look into the fridge, what if I did not move at all? Instead, what if everything moved around me?

What if I was the center of my universe?

The life-cycle of a Homo sapien living in a first world country.

Gestation, where the fertilized egg grows into a fetus.

Infancy, where the newborn first experiences the world.

Childhood, where the toddler learns what it means to be happy or sad.

Adolescence, where the teenagers goes through rigorous courses called education.

Young adulthood, where the youths further their knowledge of the universe at universities.

Adulthood, where the person occupies him or herself with an activity called a job.

Old age, where the elderly can finally relish the sweet taste of days gone by, except that they are now too old to do too much.

Of course, all these stages of human life can be quite concisely summarized into one single stage.

The summarized life-cycle of a Homo sapien living in a first world country.

Dying, where the individual developing and maturing to reach destination death.

Why must I style the stage as dying, instead of living? Because hardly anyone is living these days. Would you call a calculator living when it calculates a tough equation out? Would you call a caged animal living? Would you call a depressed old folk, lying in bed all day, living?

How can I live my life, when you want to live mine?
Right, so I die my death.

Most things I do because I have to do.
Other things I do because I like to do.

But what exactly constitutes an obligation?

Personally I very much want to broach the subject of me having to go to church. But I hardly do. On the rare occasion that I do breathe a word about it, my argument is prematurely truncated. What of religious freedom? I thought this was a secular society.

Yes, another example to convince me of the futileness of struggling. The world is doomed, says the apocalyptic messages from seers, prophets or even madmen through all ages. Well, I am inclined to join the group and curse this world. The world as it is, is far from utopia. The world is far from ideal. Be realistic, we will never be able to solve the problems of the world.

We are far too deep in this capitalistic movement started long ago when people first began to banter for each others goods. Slowly but surely, the system matured and evolved to the various currencies and financial institutes we have today. Now every one has to work for paper, to use that paper to trade for everyday items. As long as every one works, every one will have enough paper, and every one can live happily ever after, right?

Wrong. Because companies and businesses have sprouted up like mushrooms to fill up every possible sector, and any empty sector yet to be discovered will be duly acquired by the respective enterprise. This is were things get messy. Now we have bosses, and we will call them the bourgeoisies. When you have people in-charge, you will need people being charged. We will call them the proletariats.

The bundle of paper is not split evenly.

Why not? Because if every one received the same amount, this would be seen as communism, and will be attacked and criticized by knowledgeable people who have fully understood the concepts of Communist Ideology and noted it to be flawed. Democracy, on the other hand, seems to have less flaws, if not none at all, which explains why most world governments prefer this route.

I would like to point out a fun fact from the Bible. Matthew 20.

For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,

And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.

And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?

They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,

Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

I will leave you to make your own conclusions.

So now, we will rather split the paper in a lopsided manner, since I have shown how equality does not work in this case. Which way to split the paper earned? Why, obviously more to the bourgeoisies and less to the proletariats. Had the situation been the other way around, it defeats the whole concept of employer and employee. The employer should be more powerful then the employee, and what better way to make a man powerful than to show him the money?

Now, maybe we could pay the proletariat class a large sum to make them rich, and then we can just pay the bourgeoisies a larger sum! That would solve the problem, right?

Wrong, because then we would have inflation, and the value of paper would fall drastically, bringing us back to square one.

The world is beyond hope. Sure, you could help one or two or three or a thousand people breathe easier, smile and laugh. But you can never save the world. Frankly, in my honest opinion, if there was one person who could save the world from self-destruction, it was Jesus. He spreads a message of love, how people should care for one another, how we should not subscribe to violence. Too bad he is dead now and what the world has become. Quite obviously, the message of love is not spreading fast enough.

Alright, I resign to fatalism. I will go to church, whatever good that may do for you, because it does me no good whatsoever. There is no use trying to struggle and make things difficult for every body. That is just the way the world works. The world is doomed and so am I, a poor boy trapped within its boundaries.

"My capacity for happiness, you could fit into a matchbox without taking out the matches first." - Marvin

I just get myself so depressed, because of me being depressed. See? I am in a vicious inescapable cycle of depression, and I have no way of uplifting myself.

I am depressed. This is because it makes me depressed to know that I am depressed. I tell myself, do not be depressed. I ask myself why not? I tell myself that being happy is always better than being sad. Then I argue with that point again, why is being happy better than being sad? Why is having a smile better than having a frown?

Cosmologically speaking, does anything I do matter at all?

Actually I do not feel so depressed now. I wonder what happened.

The History of every major Galactic Civilization tends to pass through three distinct and recognizable phase, those of Survival, Inquiry and Sophistication, otherwise known as the How, Why and Where phases.
For instance, the first phase is characterized by the question "How can we eat?", the second by the question "Why do we eat?" and the third by the question "Where shall we have lunch?"

I ain't got a thing to prove to you
I'll eat my candy with the pork and beans
Excuse my manners if I make a scene
I ain't gonna wear the clothes that you like
I'm fine and dandy with the me inside
One look in the mirror and I'm tickled pink
I don't give a hoot about what you think

And in the course of my searching I have discovered the answer. The answer to life, the universe and everything. Literally everything.

God works in mysterious ways.

Why does God not manifest himself physically to humans?
Because God works in mysterious ways.

Why does God allow corrupted governments to exist instead of smiting them with His hand?
Because God works in mysterious ways.

Why do innocent people have to die?
Because God works in mysterious ways.

Why is the universe so big?
Because God works in mysterious ways.

Why do we exist?
Because God works in mysterious ways.

Why must people almost always be so volatile and unstable?
Because God works in mysterious ways.

Why do cows eat grass?
Because God works in mysterious ways.

Why do heavy objects sink?
Because God works in mysterious ways.

Why is 1+1=2?
Because God works in mysterious ways.

Why does energy = mass x speed of light x speed of light?
Because God works in mysterious ways.

With this answer, I do not need to study for another exam ever! I have the answer to every question! All because God works in mysterious ways, and I will never need to probe deeper into the question to unearth an alternative answer. My curiosity is sated. After all, I have been told that thinking too much is no good. Curiosity killed the cat, remember?

One size fits all.
You have to be grateful if you are a believer.
He provides you with a generic answer.

urinaldeuce: god and satan aren't real anyways, so why worry about it?

Jaxonespo: go ahead and prove your faith that there is no God. "The fool has said in his heart, 'there is no God'." Psalm 14:1

urinaldeuce: quotes from the good book.
oh my god, i believe!

Jaxonespo: No, of course you don't believe in your mind, but you'll never fully extinguish the recognition of the Creator from your deep conscious. 17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

urinaldeuce: i already told you, you changed my mind with your first quote! i believe! good God! i believe!
i can't just accept the fact that there is nothing to prove definitively that god is real. i can't just accept that i don't know what will happen after i die, so ill just quote from a book written by people who have talked to god! i know they are right! because people knew a lot more 2000 years ago than they do today!

Jaxonespo: Every time you guys deny the Truth of Jesus Christ, you fulfill God's Word. Isn't that ironic?

urinaldeuce: That's the trap of Christianity.

Pointless debate all because of this video.
