random

being random time-wise, let me blog about the past few days:

thurs: had a gathering at our place (cine) with the sc gang! had so much to catch up with that we just sat in the food court and talk non-stop. the only other thing we did was to take neoprints! love neoprints because they have technology to make you look more photogenic:Dlol.

fri: arrival of new cousin zac although my aunt has not the slightest idea who is zac efron. irony.

sat afternoon: went shopping at j8 with sophia and xinying! we were coincidentally in the same building but we said we would leave it to Fate to decide if we would meet. haha... but i couldn't just hang around and wait for Fate to arrive so i messaged xy then sophia to find out where they are in j8, or else we wouldn't be able to meet up at all. anyway, i bought a bag which was on sale! yay!!! finally got a new bag cos as xy mentioned, i have been carrying the same blue bag since sec 1 (sorry guys, if my old bag is very ai yan:P)

saturday night: had dinner at swensen's as a small reward for my sis for completing her Os. thanks to her, i get good food! yum yum! the banana crumble was so delicious!

sun: my sister wanted converse shoes so i am once again obliged to go to j8 again. this is like the how many times this week i am in j8!? went to the same shop where i bought my bag (next to converse) and my mum allowed me to buy a pair of heels! wahahaha... am so happy:)

can't wait for fri:DDDD

not that i want to wax lyrical or something.

but there is something i m strangely addicted to: yang zong wei's singing. i have been listening/watching him on youtube for the past few days. his singing is so superb! it is such a pity that he have to do such a dumb thing which leads to him pulling out. maybe he could have easily won the contest, or maybe, he wouldn't have been able to go this far. sigh.

and there are other contestants in the competition who are good as well. you can say that generally, their standards are much higher than those in local singing competition. wonder if it will be shown in local tv, considering the impact of showing something so similar to your own production and yet so much successful:P will seriously affect your own business. haha... maybe not until a good two years has passed.

okay, i should really go sleep now.

friday

just felt like blogging although nothing much happened today.

the only highlight was that i bought tacopachi, shilin's crispy chicken and bread from breadtalk in j8. my money has all been siphoned to filling my stomach, but what happened to my wardrobe? nothing. i haven't bought myself any piece of clothing since eternity. i think i am born with the virtue of thriftiness or something.

time for some revolutionary change or else i will never get new clothes. (my first step should be to stop looking at price tags whenever i shop...haha)

i just remembered something.

on tues when i was on the train home, there was this elderly couple in front of me chiding this guy for not moving in to free up space for others in the packed train. the old man was really angry and kept repeating something about youngsters nowadays having no respect for the elderly while the old woman was very agitated. haha...i wouldn't be surprised if they started a fight with that guy, who was in the wrong in the first place but wouldn't admit it. if saying less can cool things down, why not? instead of accusing the other party in defence. an apology would have ended any argument in a minute. i really couldn't wait to get out of the train at the next stop.

this sounds like some form of entertainment for our otherwise mundane lifes.

100th post!

wheee! 100th post!

i didn't realise i posted so much rubbish here for the past year. but you can tell i am not really such an avid blogger since one year has 365 days and i only have 100 posts. haha...

anyway, i was busy preparing for op last week so i couldn't blog. the minutes to op dragged by while you try to calm your nerves, but when we were inside the room, the time went by in a flash. it was like some fast-forward video with no sound...

after op, we went to j8, which was so conveniently near, to have a celebratory lunch with kevin's and my group at pizza hut because their group was before us. i was just relieved that everything is over. one entire year of moaning about the existence of pw just ended like that. it's quite unbelievable that time passes so fast this year.

yup, and after op, i was just slacking around, playing miniclip games online, watching tv etc. i went to watch bee movie's movie premiere on tuesday (free tix!). the jokes in it were soo lame. i was like "san tiao xian" but the kids behind were laughing loudly. oh well, different standards.

plans for the holidays: watch movies, shop for new clothes, catch up with people...
