last day

it was the last day of school last friday. strangely, i didn't feel particulary jubilant or excited. rather, it feels more like a normal school day, except with rushing around and handing up forms.

i think it must have been op that has been lingering in my mind. until op is over, i think none of us could completely feel that the holidays. my op is on the 2nd day, which is not a bad timing. and after op, i have so many things i want to do.

can't wait:)

got hit by a wave of exam scripts today.

the pressure and suffocation all at once.

but at least it was done and over with.

and i only remembered my gp essay being very very red.

thursday

i'm currently enjoying whatever time i have left before the dreaded op looms.

our previous venue for op was at shiyun's house. really silly to have taken a 1 and a half hour route to her house when i actually have a direct bus there which would have saved me an HOUR. but i didn't know it cos the bus route is new! lol... anyway, i think we played with her sister more than we did our pw:P did i mention that her baby sister is uber-cute? but she was quite scared of us... u should have seen us getting flustered trying to stop her from crying, it was quite amusing. HAHA. i think i m hopeless at handling crying babies.

i went to j8 for lunch on tuesday AND today. ate really good food:) though i suddenly realised that i m going out every other day.

locks

there's like no school today and next monday:) yay!

promos results are coming back next next monday...i wonder how i can stand waiting so long. maybe cause it is already shelved at the back of my mind.

did something stupid today. and don't ask me why i was picking locks today.
i must be suffering from short-term memory.

but anyway, i should really find out how to pick locks successfully.

shopping!

i went shopping with yang fan, gladys and june at far east after school today! saw so many clothes that i want to buy but are beyond my budget. haha... i shall go back there soon to see if there's a sale or something (i m so cheapskate.)

anyway, we walked around far east and took neoprints:))) neoprint-taking is so fun! did all the cute poses and decorated everything with cute hearts and stars. :D can't believe it, but i realised it was my first time taking with so few people...just 4 of us:) considering the size of the neoprint each of us gets...haha...

looking at the state of my wardrobe, i think i really need to go get new clothes.

post-op dry run

i was so relieved to say that we managed to survive op. we went through what our assessors would go through - sitting there for 6 hours straight going through all the presentations. it was torturous to be there for 6 hours with only a 10 minute break and waiting nervously for your turn. everyone was so tense that i thought the air would explode. -shivers-

anyway, i should stop talking about the unpleasant memories. i shall talk about HAPPIER STUFF! (i confessed i have been wasting my time again...heh, it was so worth it:)))

i just finished watching "why why love" (but i decided not to destroy my blog gushing about the erm... lead actor. heh.) omg, it is the nicest show i have ever watched this year, i think, but thats maybe because i didn't watch many cos i was so busy. it was so moving and sweet! whoever is free can like go watch this idol drama and gush over it with me. :) (edit: after some consideration, i think you wouldn't want to get me started on this topic:P)

and yesterday, after our op ended, my pw group, only the girls, went to j8 to fill our hungry stomachs:) we sort of walked around in the basement and eat what we liked. the release of the earlier stress made us so hungry we could eat a horse! and today, i went to chinatown to buy cloth for pw.

it would be such a wonderful life to go out everyday:)))

girl, please get back to reality.

open house

open house on fri!

one word to describe it: tiring

was running around so i had loads of exercise:)

it was great to see some sc juniors as well. i went to talk to them although i have no idea who they are - turned out they are gloria's juniors. lol. i told them i only saw less than 10 sc people coming and they said their level did very badly for prelims (like worst in history?), which was quite saddening to hear. i still care about what is going on k.

another piece of interesting news: the sc canteen recently received a "model canteen award". er...there's such an award??? lol.

it was still great hearing news from my alma mater:)

meanwhile, i should be doing op. :(

class chalet!

CLASS CHALET WAS SO FUN! thanks to all those who made class chalet so enjoyable. LOL.

it was fun
playing football (guys, girls and teachers),
barbecueing,
cycling at midnight,
relieving our childhood in the playground in the middle of the night,
spinning on the saucer thing in the playground,
playing charades with random acting and guessing (i mean, really random, haha),
stretching ourselves in twister,
the relay mahjong sessions,
staying up till dawn,
cycling in the morning again,
wading in the pool,
cam-whoring,
laughing with everyone else......
and the list goes on.

the food tasted so good because you cooked it personally (or maybe i was too hungry?). it was so relaxing because promos are over and there isn't anything to worry about. even mr pan and mr lu came over to play although they have exam scripts to mark. haha... i also got to know more about our classmates and see the crazy side of them. i even did new things that i have never done before, like night cycling when the park was quiet and empty. and there's the nice generous auntie at the bicycle shop who treated us to children's day cake and even wanted to give us milo, which we declined politely. her kind act was especially touching and all of us wanted to go back to the same chalet again next year.

after we checked out, most of us were like zombies from lack of sleep. i was still feeling high so me and june went to orchard borders where i bought 2 books! we went taka to eat the prata-sausage snack, which sounds like an odd combination but was surprising good. we even met a few friends by coincidence, like kelly and christie.
