food

i ordered a bowl of steaming yong tau foo during break today.
it costs 3 dollars (u can tell how much i ordered) and my bowl was like bigger. LOL.

i felt super happy when i was eating it.
the satisfaction after u finished everything is just yum yum.

i almost forgot the joy from these simple things in life.
what has happened to me?

it has been a really hectic week, mostly occupied by dearest pw.

looks like i would be busy. hmph.

i want to go watch "secret", even though my sis had happily told me what the secret was. so spoiler. i didn't even know there was supposed to be a "secret" in the movie, until she told me.

who, when, where should i go? i m afraid i will end up bringing notes to study when i go out.
just kidding lah.

starry starry night

i'm chionging homework since i came back. there's like tons of things i need to do, such as pw which i have neglected for the past two weeks. i think i really must thank all my pw group mates, enghow, shiyun, xingda and june for writing out the report. i feel really bad for not contributing. jiayou for pw!

gladys asked me if i regreted going for the trip when i was telling her about the work i accumulated. i realise i shouldn't complain at all since it was the price i had to pay for going (think opp cost). the trip was a wonderful experience for me to know what it would feel like if i ever decide to go overseas to study in the future. i wouldn't exchange it for anything else.

the best memory i had was on the night of the meteor shower. we had the farewell party which ended at 11pm. most of us decided to sleep late as it is our final night in cambridge. we lay on our backs on the lawn, gazing up at the starry sky, waiting. we didn't talk much, just watching the winking stars was enough to make us happy.

minutes past, before they arrived.

the shooting stars were beautiful, appearing out of nowhere, leaving golden streaks in the dark sky and fading into darkness as suddenly as it had appeared. i had never seen so many stars in my life, let alone encounter a shooting star. it left a blissful and warm feeling, despite the freezing temperature.

i didn't regret going at all.

home sweet home

if anyone's been wondering where i have been, i was in cambridge for the past 2 weeks. and yup, i totally enjoyed the summer school :)))

other jcs like sajc, pjc, cjc, hci and ajc were there too. like about 200 people in total. the weather there was nice and there was lots of places we could shop at. i didn't shop as much as the rest haha... but the best bargain i got was hp 7 at 8.87 pounds (around $25)!!! i saved so much there :DD i seriously think the price of hp 7 is much too high in sg.

i will post some photos next time.

i think i have jet lag, but my mom doesn't think so.

i will have to go to school tmr :(
