CLASS CAMP II
2nd day:
i was woken up by at least 5 alarms at 6am and i couldn't fall asleep after that. first, gladys' watch started beeping and she didn't hear it at all. HAHA...so i helped her off it. then, yl's phone alarm with the nice ringtone started ringing at 5-minute intervals for a few times until thankfully, eh finally found it among the pile of bags and turned it off. the ironic thing is that the owners of the alarms didn't wake up at all! LOL... i told gladys later and she said she didn't know that her watch has an alarm. hahaha...
nothing interesting happened after that until we got back to school.
it was WASHING GROUNDSHEETS TIME!!! WHEE!!!
i never had so much fun cleaning up! the wind made all the groundsheets fly up and water was spraying everywhere. i was laughing like siao!!!
class camp created lots of memories for our class. pity i didn't bring my camera to take nice pictures. i will put up class camp pics once i got it from other pp :P

CLASS CAMP!
i shall update on how fun fun fun class camp was!basically, we spend half of our waking hours walking. haha... but i don't really mind walking, cos it is EXERCISE! oh yah, and the weather was either rainy or cloudy, so we weren't burnt to a crisp.1st day :had yummy nasi lemak at changi village before taking the jetty to ubin. taking the boat reminded me of my first trip to OBS. the chug chug of the boat, the white foamy trail, the splash of seawater and the salty gusts of wind. it was too noisy to talk, so we just took photos and stone. this time, i got to see the rustic village and part of the eastern side of the island. we had to go to different checkpoints to earn credits for dinner. our final destination was chek jawa! i always wanted to go there but due to some laziness, it never materialised! it was high tide though, so you couldn't even see anything. we took a crazy class video at the jetty where everyone did a different action for the camera. we then trekked 40 minutes to return to the village again. (where thirsty me had nice coconut juice:) haha...a few of my class people liked coconut juice alot alot alot :P after that, there was great news waiting for us-our campsite is a good half an hour away!so, more walking...our campsite is this sandy beach at the mouth of the swamp. some of us helped to set up the shelter using 5 plastic sheets, while some of us cooked dinner! the cooking part was FUN!xd was super pro in digging holes for the bunsen burners (he is a canoeist, thats why). and the girls helped to cook dinner (instant noodles, cabbage, sausages and sardines). it was nice watching the sunset, eating the food we cooked and listening to lx playing his guitar. but it started raining again. after the rain, the instructors brought us to the forest to look for fireflies. there wasn't any, but everyone had to walk back to the campsite alone, without using the torch. some people freaked out. HAHA. i couldn't even see the way and i walked into a few puddles along the way. after lights out was more interesting. haha... we turned ubin into a mini gambling den, but i couldn't see my cards without the torch. some interesting things happened, like the roof that collected too much rain water and sagged, and the toothpaste incident:) -to be continued-

OBS was super memorable although i don't have any photos from it. i should bring my camera there this time. the downside is that we would miss our first pe module of inline skating :( and my first h3 lecture :(. what unfortunate timings.BUT we get to miss ECONS case study test:) heh.

finally...
sorry, havent been updating for sooo long. my internet connection has been screwing up since two weeks ago. i am currently in my sch's com lab...i watched harry potter on sat!!!!haha... i seriously think d.r is getting increasing uglier. u should see how adorable he was as a ten year old in david copperfield. what happened?! and he is like 2 years older than his character in the movie.anyway, back to the movie. it was okay, just like most of the other movies. the ideas were quite conservative and everything's sort of what you expected-no surprises. i got goosebumps whenever umbridge came out, not because of the fluffly pink dresses, but because of a certain resemblence to a certain teacher. urgh... i was cringing whenever she spoke. haha... the actress was good in her role, although she wasn't exactly toadlike. HAHA... the plot was also quite rushed, like there was not much building up to the climax.but i still like the books all the same. i went home to reread them after i watched the movie! and i am pretty excited on the 7th book release on saturday, although i wont be getting it :( (so ex.) i think hp is so popular is because it feeds our fantasy of being in another world, which is more fun and exciting than our current one. who wouldn't want to escape from reality for a while?have to go now... my cca's in like 15 minutes time. :]

outing+campfire!
sc guides had campfire last friday. so of course we seniors won't miss out the chance to see the result of the months of hard work by the juniors. luckily most of us have already finished our CTs by thurs or at least fri morning, making it a good time to have a nice outing!! we had lunch at lj's and we took neoprints!!! i think neoprints are fun because you start panicking whenever the countdown starts. HAHA... i went home to compare the neoprints we took to the old ones. all of us looked different! (duh) like grown prettier etc. our outings are mostly talk talk and more talk. LOL. cos we hadn't seen each other for soo long. (but i think this doesn't apply to those hc pp :P)campfire was quite unfortunate cos it rained :( but the fireball was good:) i can almost imagining the fire people sunning wood. haha... it brought back good memories of guides. =D it was great seeing the other old girls too! there are also some seniors who have been coming back for campfire for quite a few years already. but it must be sad if no juniors know you. like how i don't know all the sec 1s and 2s. after that, we went for supper at adam's food centre. had a nice bowl of steaming prawn mee (super nice on a rainy day). the prawn mee was super yummy, no wonder it is so famous. i want to go there to eat again! haha... food glorious food!
