Wonderful Christmas!
We had a really nice Christmas with our family. We went down to Socorro
on Christmas Day and spent the day with M's parents and family. It was nice, everyone was there. We then went to the ranch the following day. On our way to the ranch we stopped in Magdalena to visit my grandparents. I love having them there. It is so nice to visit. And don't they look great? :)

We had a wonderful visit with everyone at the ranch. My family is big and it is really hard to get everyone there at the same time. So, we still had some missing. But it was a lot of fun. The kids had so much fun spending all day with their cousins and grandparents. They crashed quickly that night and have not stopped talking
about how much fun they had. Thank you all for the fun!

Happy Christmas Eve!
We use the same traditions for Christmas that I grew up with. So, we open presents from eachother on Christmas Eve. We did it a little early today because M wanted the kids to open one of their presents so he could play. :) Wii love the new game! He is such a kid at heart! Any way, here are some of our photos...We love you
all and we'll see you tomorrow or the next day....

12 Days of Christmas
I am obviously really liking this you tube business. But I did not find this one on my own...One of M's friends sent it to him via e-mail. It is so cool I thought I would post it and share it with all of you. It is a mens a-capella group from the University of Indiana called Straight No Chaser. They are really good. Enjoy!

Merry Christmas!
As Christmas is approaching we want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. We are so thankful for you all and what you bring to our lives. We are especially mindful and thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who sent his only begotten Son for us! We love our dear Savior and praise his birth and the fact that He lives! I love that more than anything...He Lives! And because of this we will all live again!
Have a wonderful Christmas! You will all be in our thoughts and prayers this season.

Symbol of The Candy Cane

The symbol of the shepherds crook is an ancient one, representing the humble shepherds who were first to worship the newborn Christ. The white color of the Christmas candy symbolizes the Virgin Birth and the sinless nature of Jesus. The hardness of the candy symbolizes the solid rock of the Gospel, the foundation the church is built upon, and the firmness of the promises made by God. The candies are made in a "J" shape to represent the name of Jesus and the shape of the staff of the "Good Shepherd". And the three red stripes on the candy cane represent the Godhead and the blood shed by Christ to let us have the promise of the eternal life.
"Let us remember this Christmas Season that there is one God and one Shepherd over all the earth."~~(1 Nephi 13:41)

Happy 40th Wedding Anniversary!
We went home this weekend to celebrate M's parents 40th anniversary. We had a great time! All of the family was there. We went down on Saturday and enjoyed the afternoon at the Bosque watching the birds. Then we had a yummy dinner that night. It was so much fun to hear stories of their engagement , of when they came to the United States and of when they had kids. My sister-in-law made an awesome digital picture frame and they put music on it, too. It was so cool. The next day was spent visiting and ofcourse some football!

It snowed!
It finally snowed! Yea! For all of you who live where it really snows you can't laugh! We only had a dusting but it was enough to get us excited and for it to feel a little more like
Christmas! We are all hoping we are in a snow pattern now and that we might actually get some for Christmas! This picture is of Little A. She played in the snow all morning making snow angels
and attempting to make a snowman. :)
