Jordan, Rylee and Mallory

Friday, December 26th Me, my sisters (except Shannon), my mom, my two girls and my niece Jordan went to downtown Glendale to look in all the little shops. It was a bit chilly out that day. We spent about 6 hours there and didn't even get to all the stores. We tried some hats on, some were way cute others were a little scary. Me and my sisters wanted to buy one and wear them to church on Sunday, didn't happen couldn't find any we actually fell in love with. Maybe we will try again. I purchased an old window, I have always wanted one. I think just think they look neat. Me and my sisters bought matching sunglasses, we bought some jewelry and some frames. I also got a pillow to put on my bed, it looks pretty. We had lunch at Carambas, YUM!! I love Mexican food. At our last store Kerry bought her son Zachary a cane, he has been wanting one, what a nut. While we were in our last store the girls stayed in the car and took pictures of themselves, here are a few.(they are at the top don't know how to move them, oh well)

Christmas and more

It seems Christmas has come and gone so fast this year. We had a nice, yet sick Christmas. It started on Christmas Eve at my sister Shannon's house, Levi got sick. He threw up all over her bathroom floor. I felt so bad for him. Thanks to Shannon for the kindness and borrowed clothes from her boys. We made the drive home from Gilbert without anymore messes. Then really early Christmas morning Seth, Rylee and Craig got sick. So after everybody got to feeling better we started opening presents. After presents we just laid around all day, watched movies and played games. Everyone was feeling better by the end of the day, except Craig. Come to find out his sickness was being caused by gall stones. He has been having stomach pain on and off for about 6 months and finally went to the doctor a few weeks ago and they put him on Prevacid thinking it was acid reflux. Well the pain got real bad again last night at work, so he left work at about 1:00 a.m. and went straight to the ER and didn't call me until about 6:00 a.m., he wanted to make sure I wasn't still sleeping when he called(what a sweet goofball). So he found out he has gallstones and will be having surgery tomorrow to remove his gallbladder. I'm just glad they finally found out what was causing all his pain so he doesn't have to worry about being in pain anymore.

OUCH!!

Levi had a little accident at school today during P.E. He was climbing up the stairs on the park equipment and slipped and hit his chin. The nurse said by the time he got to the nurses office it was pretty much closed up(I am thankful for that, I don't like doing the whole stitching up thing). One good thing came out of this accident for Levi, he got to come home early and help me make brownies and have a little more play time by himself with the moonsand before he has to share with his brother.

Our Angel

This is my Aunt Sandy, isn't she beautiful. She passed away last Saturday, December 6th. She was the most giving and loving person, she would do anything for anyone. It is so comforting to know that she is home now with Heavenly Father and other loved ones, and to know that we will be with her again someday. She will be missed dearly. We love you Sandy!!!

Fun Weekend

This weekend was a fun one. Me and two of my sisters(Lora and Kerry) were in our first Posie Patch craft show. We setup Friday night for about an hour with my daughter Mallory, Kerry's daughter Jordan and daughter in-law Jamie. When we finished there we went to Arizona Mills and met up with our other sister Shannon and 2 of her friends to see Twilight. I liked the movie(excluding some cheesy parts) but I didn't read the book so I didn't have anything to compare to it. It was just entertainment for me. We were at Posie Patch Saturday and Sunday, selling our homemade crafts. We did okay, everyone was saying it was a slower one than usual, but we had a whole lot of fun just hanging out with each other and laughing the whole time. We also got to see some odd things people make and sell(there are some odd people out there). But another highlight was meeting some new people, especially Leanne Welton and her daughter Jade. We are hoping to see Leanne at more craft shows, she is a lot of fun to talk to, she fits right in with us.

Stray Dog

While me and Craig were watching tv this afternoon he noticed a stray dog wandering our neighborhood. I am thankful Craig saw it because I am always leary of walking to the bus stop thinking a stray wild dog is going to attack me. Now I am POSITIVE it would of happened today(probably not), so now I will be driving down to pickup Levi. Thanks again hun!!

First Timer

Here I go. I am going to try and do a blog. I know a lot of people who have them and I enjoy reading theirs. I kind of feel like a stalker. But I'm not, really, don't be scared. I had a really good day yesterday. It was kind of relaxing, even though I had lots to do. I enjoyed last night even better. Craig was able to eat dinner with us and spend some quality time with us.He didn't go into work last night, it was nice to have him home. I noticed how much better I sleep when he is home. I feel well rested this morning. Thanks to my hubby for that.
