the next couple of nights colouring....of one kind or another

I am playing with different pencils, paints, pens etc.  Sorry there are a couple of doubles from the last post here...I found them afterwards.......of course!!

Think I used Tombow markers and a no2 paintbrush for this one which I have posted

I finally got my wink of Stella pen to work in these two cards.  These were Faber Castell Pitt artist pens...of which I have just a few.

The butterfly was inktense pencils and a paint brush.

Have to play with the envelope

Not super keen on this...it was done with Tombow Pens and a water brush.

Cutting gold paper from dies in the Big shot and using an old can of spray adhesive which managed to come out in a yuck colour and go everywhere.  It needs to be binned.

I love to splosh left over paint onto a new piece of paper....that is how this card began.  Then I used an Altenew stamp and Tombow pens and water brush and I think the verse is from Impression Obsession.

This is part of tonight's play.  I am super weary today.//what is new these days?
I went to Church and left via going to the toilet so did not stay and socialize...went briefly to the shops and did a couple of urgent things and came home and slept till almost 7pm...was up for an hour then slept for another couple of hours.
This is one of my beloved Penny Black stamps.
See stamp below.
It is still in the MISTI and I may attack it again tomorrow.
It is done by colouring the stamp with Tombow markers and then stamping on Neenah Solar White paper.
I love these type of stamps.....but was totally confused as to how to use them till I saw the video on uTube.  I have learned so much via that method.

This is part of a cute stamp set by Gerta Stein Designs and I used my big set of
Albrecht Durer pencils and a no2 paint brush.
Oh boy...you see the faults when you take a photo.
When you have a black tuxedo cat...a white tummy in the shape of a Onesie that does up in the middle....the black meets over the white tummy in the middle.  She has a white dot on her nose and looks black till in the sun when she is pure dark chocolate.  She is impossible for me to get her colours.

Now to bed again.

tonight I completed 35 cards with insides and envelopes and I am weary.

These cards were at various stages of completion...but now all have insides done and have envelopes.   Some have not yet had a sentiment on them...that will go on when they are used.
I am now going to bed......LOL

I have been taking card photos with the Ipad ...but here are a few.

Still in the process of making but wanted to try the silver stripe and then had to cover a line in the middle.
Might put a border in there.......?

Just stamped these on a long card.  Not sure what I will do..........if anything.

Made the pink paper of the heart and used a die to cut it....now to do something with it.
A friend came and she preferred the back side.
I had it on the front side.....paper from a pad, put through an embossing folder and the cut out has been embossed in gold.  You can see where I missed some spots.
I do not really mind.  Artistic licence??

Made the background paper from left over paint and then stamped and embossed and painted the image....Friend suggested an embossed greeting...would have been a good idea.

This is not put together yet.  I had cut two peacocks from a die and my friend embossed the tail after I had pasted them together to give some dimension.  Nothing is in place properly or stuck down as yet.  Another background made from the paint water that was left over after a painting session.  Sometimes I put it on an acrylic block and place it on the paper, other times I scrunch up some cellophane type 'stuff' and put it on the paper with that.  I am learning so much from watching uTube.

This is my first attempt to use gold paper and a product called 'Stick it" which means I peel off the backing and do not need to use glue.  Always a plus.

Another attempt at a birthday card.  Got very frustrated with this and may make it again.. The craze at the moment is for corny critter pictures and sentiments.  I can just cope with sheep.

I have coloured this lass in purple but she got an Autumn tone look this time. I attacked the paper with a good size brush and the dregs of the paint water.

A walk in the garden to take a photo of the Autumn glory vine while it is still green.

I took a photo of the back view and completely forgot the front.  The roses trapped me in their thrall.
First I had to escape....without company.
She had been out earlier and sees no reason why she cannot escape again.

I can see things..........I want out!!
The back view of the glory vine.  It did not get a full prune last year so it is very lush and verdant this season but it will gradually turn to red.
my two cumquats.  Poor little tree.  No more this year.

Just Joey looking luscious as usual.

Cecile Brunner...climbing up and around the kitchen window.

Julia's rose...doing quite well in a pot.

Anyone guess what this is.  You would if you could smell it.
Lemon Verbena....I adore the perfume
