It is New Years Eve and my home is neat (two rooms we do not discuss) and tidy and Christmas is packed away.

This was the scene last night after a wonderful girlfriend came and helped to finish off the packing I had begun the previous day and did a wonderful clean, polish and vacuum at the same time.

I am so thankful....and so envious of people who can still kneel and sit on the floor.
It once was my natural habitat!  I miss it.  But not enough to fall down to embrace it!!

Two empty trees and some packed boxes and one Christmas quilt that was on my bed.

Christmas color cushions in bags and Moggie getting her territory back.  Two crates of red baubles from the silver tree

Smug animal!
The three crates below go up in the cupboard inside.  The others go out in the shed.  A long way to walk even with empty crates as I discovered in the rain on Monday.

Another bare tree now all dismantled and packed away.

And all these crates are in the shed.  Even the Christmas flowers were in crates this year not squashed in the spare bedroom.
First major activity in the new year is to find the sewing table in here.  Found the floor today.  And then to find one and a half beds in the spare room.  Found half a bed and the floor today!!
So we are ready here for 2015.  With a lot of help from our friends.

I have actually sewn something......maybe the mojo is on the move!

last sewing done in June...........
and now the bag is finished.

I love the fact that I made this bag from a $7 bag of scraps from Chandlers Cottage in Beaumaris
...brought some time ago.

Had to buy extra non matching black in yardage but it looks closer in reality than in the photo.

Now these are really old as in a decade or longer.  Again the mugs were purchased in a sale at Fabric Impressions when they had a shop in Altona and I did the machine embroidery blocks and put them this far together in the last couple of days.  The top row is just resting.
Will be just a small quilt unless I go for a long table runner, that thought just crept into the head.  I have two more rows and 2 spare pictures.

Lonely is the night but fun for photos.

Nice to see the brightness of the yellow
and cut out some of the backgrounds.

Interesting to balance around in the dark.  Not all fits in focus nor do you clearly see what you are taking.

Love my aquilegia...I am hoping to see some blue ones soon.
