I have decided that every so often I will chose something I enjoy using or having and tell and show.

Tonight I cooked a real meal with lamb chops, tomato and red onion, then potatoes through the ricer and other vegetables cooked in the top of the steamer over the potatoes.



This is my favorite saucepan, forgot the brand but got it from "Essence."

Essence food studio is a wonderful place to have an evening out and combines great food, cooking techniques, equipment, recipes and fabulous music.

When I saw Bart using this I decided I had to have one and I guess I am lazy and do not use it as often as I should. I say lazy as the alternative is to microwave or cook all the vegetables for one in the same pot.

In front of it is a ricer which is just the best way to start mashed potato. You put the cooked potato through it and it comes out like little tiny worms.

So these, plus a frying pan for the lamb, tomatoes and red onion with a lovely citrus flavoured Australian Olive Oil, I was well satisfied and quite content to clean up and take a photo.

Do you have a favorite cooking implement?
My next buy has to be a pan for friands.

Oh, and I added a new photo.....it has added a few decades onto the last one I had used which had been taken in '85. I am allowed variety am I not? LOL.
