Honesty

This weekend I was praised by strangers for my honesty and in some ways it puzzled me. I was picking up some powdered sugar for Richard at Walmart. I was in a hurry so I used the Self Service Registers. As I was walking to one of the registers, a man was walking away and left the $60 he asked for hanging out of the machine. I stopped him and pointed out that he left his money. He and the Walmart employee looked at me with amazed looks. I was told Bless you, Wow, and An honest person. What was I suppose to do? The money was not mine, I did not earn it, so it was not a question. It belonged to the man before me and he should have it. So I am wondering, has honesty left? Are there more dishonest people out there these days? When you are dishonest, don't you feel bad? I could not have taken that man's money even if he had said it was not his or did not turn around to get it back. I would have given it to the employee and had them check to see if they could return it to the man's debit card. What would you have done? What do you think about honesty in our society these days?

Weekend

This weekend was insanely busy. Richard made a wedding cake and 200 cupcakes for a friend of our's reception this Saturday. The cake was beautiful and a huge hit. There was none left! The Groom's mother never even got a piece. So Richard made them another cake and delivered it to them. For free of course! He got a bunch of compliments on his cake. Plus he helped another friend at the wedding, cook the food. It was a packed house! I am so glad they have such a large backyard. There was 350 people there!! It was crazy packed. We had to sit at two different tables! Salmon was excellent and I loved eating it! Riley had a great time, plus she got to dance. She loves to dance. I think she is going to be a dancer when she grows up. I should start looking for dance classes now, huh? Plus some gymnastics classes too! Richard got a huge surprise in the mail this past week too! His sister sent him his dad's dress army jacket, so medals and some letters. Including a letter to his first wife, that no one knew about!!! Now I have to track her down and his purple heart! Fun! Plus it will give me more experience with how to find family history stuff!

Pregnancy so far

So far I am doing great with this pregnancy. I have managed to make it to the gym at least three times this week. I need to try and make that at least 4 or 5 times this next week. I have discovered that I am far more tired this time, but I am hoping it is only the first trimester. I have to go to the Diabetes Care Center to make sure that I do not end up with Gestational Diabetes like I did with Riley. Though I was incredibly overweight with Riley so that might have played a part. I am working on maintaining my weight, but so far I have been incredibly hungry. I do expect it to taper off here pretty soon. Though I am craving some serious Super Sonic Cheeseburgers and I never eat those except maybe once every two monthes or so. So in ten days I will be officially in my second trimester! Yeah!
