Losing my mind!!

Ok it is official, I have done lost my mind!! I work 4 ten hour shifts at work now, going to school online full time, going to the gym 6 days a week and now I sell Mary Kay!! And twice a month I do Activity Days!! I love Mary Kay, so it seemed logical to sign up under my friend! I am not going to be forcing people to buy from me, so do not think I will be doing that. I am not a party type of person, so I will be doing everything online or book parties. Crazy is what I am!!

Fun Fun Fun

I am doing it again!! I am running another 5K in April!! YEAH!! I am doing Run For the Reef. I am going to train better for this one then I did for when I ran my first one. So far I have run a mile on the treadmill once at 13:30 and ran a mile on the Sugar Pine Trail in 13:45. SO this week at the gym I am working on one and a half miles in less then 20 minutes. Then every week until the run date, I will add a half mile to my run until I get to 3.10 miles and then I will run that until the run date. I am training Christopher and Amberlin to do the run with me. I am hoping to do the Neon Run, and another color run. I need to find one in the between those two, so I am waiting for another one to show up. Then it is on to 10K runs!! Maybe eventually Bike rides too!! All my junior high and high school PE teachers would drop dead if they saw me running!!! I could barely run an entire track lap let alone do a mile in less then 15 minutes!!

Disappointment

Well I am completely disappointed. At my office when you have your birthday, the ladies here decorate your desk, give you cards and have a potluck in your honor. Last week I was told that they would do that for me some time this week, possibly Wednesday. Well, nothing. I am guessing that they completely forgot and that completely hurts my feelings. No point in doing it now at all because I will know they forgot and are just trying to cover up that fact. It could be that everyone's morale here is really bad since they implemented some new procedures here at work. No one is happy and everyone is stressed. Maybe I will bring in some cookies for my own birthday on Friday. Not sure why I feel so disappointed and sad, but I do. It's not like I told everyone not to celebrate my birthday, they just forgot. I will get over it, but it will hurt alot when they celebrate the next person's birthday next month. Until then I will just feel bad. Endure to the end, I guess.

The Time Has Come!!

Does anyone remember the book by Dr. Suess, Marvin K Mooney Will You Please Go Now!? I loved that book as a kid and I use to read it to two girls I babysat for. Now I found it on Amazon and I read it to Riley and she also loves it! She hands it to me and says Read!! In our house right now there is a Marvin K Mooney that needs to go. We are talking about my sister. I am so tired of her living with us. In the beginning it was fine because she helped out around the house and did not hide upstairs in the bedroom watching movies on her computer. Now she does nothing at all and acts like a squatter in our house. She works all day and then on the weekend runs out to go run errands with her friend. We are paying her insurance, cell phone, food for her dogs, etc. She does not offer to pay for anything at all, but buys clothes constantly! She also steals the kids hangers to hang up her new clothes. She said she was moving out March 15th and now it is April 15th. I just hope the last she lives with us is April 15th. I am really tired of feeling taken advantage of. On anther note, I am signing up to be a Mary Kay consultant, so if you like Mary Kay and need a consultant or know someone who needs a consultant, please send them my way!! I will be signing up here this week!! I can not wait!!

Run or Dye

Yes I did it!!! I ran a 5K and I got covered with dye! Including in my mouth!! IT was AWESOME!! I actually ran half of it!! My PE teachers are rolling in their graves I will bet!! I have never run that much in my entire life!! Thank you RUTH!! She pushed me and got me to keep a good pace and get done in a record time!! 39 minutes and 3 seconds to be exact!!! YEAH ME!! Riley rode in her stroller and she did great. She got covered with dye and loved it!! The mosh pit was awesome also. We danced and sang and threw dye and caught freebies!! My kids got me sunglasses, another shirt, and some funky arm socks!! I can not wait to do my next run! The color runs are expensive, but I do want to do one a year at least. There is one more at the end of the year and I want to be able to run the entire thing. I am looking at doing one every three monthes to keep myself motivated to keep in shape and lose weight!! YEAH ME!!

The day of love!

Today is the most dredded day of the year for the single people, Valentine's Day!! The day where you sit at work and watch all the women in love getting flowers, balloons, etc. Makes you feel even more lonely then you do on a regular day. I used to sit in my old office and watch all the attached ladies get bouquets of roses and balloons. It made me feel so sad and unloved. I would go home to my children and my father and celebrate nothing. I would get a toy for my daughters, but I never got anything in return. My dad would send my mom something and they were seperated! Never thought to even get me a card from my daughters. Now I celebrate Valentine's Day with my husband. He is not big on sending flowers, but then I hate getting dead flowers. I prefer a plant that I can plant in my yard and keep forever! I like tulips, dafodils, Hyacinths, etc, flowers that come back every year. I can see my presents every spring! It is awesome! This past year I got into making chocolate pops with molds, so I picked up a few more and made some for the kids today for valentine's day. I also made chocolate dippled strawberries. We will be giving them their treats after dinner. Dinner is steak and lobster! Richard poaches the lobster tail in butter and it melts in your mouth!! Yummy! I so love lobster! Today after work I am off to pick up my packet for the Fresno Run or Dye tomorrow at Woodward Park and right after that I am getting my hair did!! New color and new cut! I am just so dang excited!! I can not wait! New weight, new pant size and now new HAIR style!! Plus I am going to get a Mary Kay make over!! YEAH ME!!

Run or Dye

Saturday is my first ever 5K. I am so nervous and excited all at the same time!! We went to Woodward park yesterday to do a trial run of the course and it was a killer!! I sure hope they have someone at each spot I got lost at to show us the correct way!! I kept having to pull out the map because the way that it showed was gravel and dirt uphill with cracks and bumps and mud. Not an easy track!! I was practicing with Riley in her stroller so pushing her uphill was rough!! So I will be at Woodward Park this Saturday at 9AM, doing my very first 5K! Running, walking or falling, I will make it in under an hour!! Hope you can all come out to cheer me on!!!
