Well after tomorrow I have only 14 days until Riley's arrival. I can hardly wait! I know that she will be here before I know it and I am sure I will panic thinking I need more time! I have finished a bunch of crafts I made for her. I made her a quilt, a blessing blanket, a mobile, signs for her wall, labeled her drawers, and made her a crown holder (pretty much for her headbands). I have one more blanket and another shelf for her and one more quilt that I am working on slowly. I need to clean up our room a little more and organize it, but it will be done before she is born.
I am working on a scrapbook to give to Rebecca when she graduates from high school this June. I searched and searched locally for a zebra striped book, but I found one online through Hobby Lobby. I started it yesterday and it looks very good! I added her bracelet from her birth, pictures from my baby shower for her and a lot of other stuff too. I hope she likes it. Plus I am putting together mobiles for the rest of the kids. Got Amberlin's done yesterday, only four left to go!
I checked the status of a friend yesterday and got a huge shock. A good friend of mine at work suffered an anuerism about five weeks ago and up until two weeks ago he was improving, talking, ect. Yesterday they took out his feeding tube and are now waiting for him to die. Half his brain is no longer working all it is doing is pumping his heart and helping him breath. They said they could have operated to help feed him, but he would probably die on the table. SO now they are opting for no surgery and to just let him go. Could be a week, could be two. He was a terrific guy and always had your back. You could always go to him when you needed help and he would give it to you. When he goes, my office will be a mess for days maybe even weeks.
Take your time!
Take your time and see what we do. I love to post stories, lyrics, videos, pictures, etc. Anything that I think someone else would like to read. I vent and I rant, but it is all in good fun!

Tommee Tippee
Am I the only person that remembers the name Tommee Tippee? My mother use to tell me that when I was little I carried around a Tommee Tippee cup. I went to Target yesterday and Richard and I discovered a new line of bottles and such. Tommee Tippee is orginally from United Kingdom and only came to the United States in 2010.
We have been checking out bottles to use so that I can breast feed and bottle feed also. Mainly when Richard takes her to priesthood or I have church things to do. We were thinking about Playtex with the drop in liners, but we do not like the nipples. We found the Tommee ones and really liked everything about them. Did a little research online and there is not one negative review on them at all.

So we are going to go with these bottles. They are awesome!! We already bought a pacifier and pacifier clip from them. Really like them!

Well Dang it!
Well, all I can say is Dang It! I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes on my birthday, so the next Friday I had to go to the Diabetes Care Center at the old Sierra Hospital on Dakota off Blackstone. I am given a device to test my blood sugar 4 times a day. Then I go back yesterday to have her check my sugar levels and guess what? Here is where the Dang It comes in. I now have to carry insulin around and take 5 units 5-10 minutes before breakfast. Luckily I was able to get the pen, so I do not have to carry around a cooler with vials and needles. My biggest fear is accidentally reaching into my purse and pricking myself with a needle. So I carry the pen. I took my first shot today and I did ok. Nervous to see what my numbers are after an hour.
I only have to use the insulin for four more weeks because they are planning the c section the last week of March! Still have to test my blood for one month after she is born, but at least no insulin!!
