Riley update

Went to the doctor on Friday for hopefully my last perinatal ultrasound.  Hopefully from now on I can stick to my dr and not have to see the specialist because I am over 35.  Cross your fingers!!

She has doubled her weight!  She is 3 lbs and 3 ozs.  I read that now she will gain half an ounce a day!  With 69 days left, that is 35.5 ounces or 2 lbs 2 ozs.  I sure hope she gets a little bigger!  I need to eat more I guess!  More healthy food, fish, vegetables, etc!  I double up on my vitamins because I just can not eat alot during the day.  Hopefully that will help her to gain some more weight.  Though Rebecca and ReAnna were small babies and I was huge!  Both were under 7 pounds! 

I have new pictures but I have to download them first to put them on my blog!  We did get to see her open her mouth and stick her tongue out.  Her legs are stretched out over her head!  Future gymnastic star! 

Brights

It really bugs me that people still drive with their brights on.  I understand that you can't see, but neither can anyone else that happens to be in front of you or you driving up on.  I hate stopping at stop lights in the morning and having a car drive up behind you with their stupid brights on!  So here I am trying to drive with remnants of their lights in my eyes. 
Recently I learned that if someone comes up behind you with their brights turn your side view mirror away from your car and it will shine right back at them.  Not as bad as you have it, but it gives them an idea as to what you are seeing in your mirror.  I have had a bunch of people turn off their brights and wave sorry at me once I started doing that. 
I got a new computer at work and I am still deciding if I like it. None of my pictures are on it and everything looks a little weirder.  Only time will tell if I will end up liking this computer or not!
I can't wait for the rain!  Rain Rain hurry up!  I usually hate the rain but after such a dry winter and the lack of snow to refill Shaver Lake, I have been praying for it!! 

Sad stories in the news

Lately everytime I read the news headlines on AT&T some girl or mother or sister or daughter that was missing has been found.  Or I should say remains have been found.   What is with people?!  Why are so many women or young girls being killed?  Why is 2011 and 2012 ending and starting with so many murders?   What about the babies that I read last year that are still missing?  When will their remains be discovered?  I hope that they will be found alive, I pray they will be found alive. 

I hope the sad stories in the news disappear and happier stories appear!  I want this year to be a happy year, not a sad one. 

My Talk on Sunday

I think I did pretty good.  I had some laughing and I got alot of great compliments on it.  I was very nervous but I did not sneak out like I teased Richard I was going to do.  Richard gave a talk right after me and Rebecca was the youth speaker!!  It was a Fisher Extravaganza at church on Sunday!!  Rebecca talked about my niece Brytani's conversion, Richard talked about our challenge from the Bishop to read the Book of Mormon and have FHE, and my talk was about food storage.  There was another sister up there and she talked about the ward goal to have 4 generations done for family history.

Update for 2012

So far this month is going OK.  The kids' rooms are rearranged and I am in the process of making curtains and valances for two of the rooms.  I put vinyl signs up in the kids's rooms along with their names on their doors.  I should have taken pictures and posted them.  I will do that tonight.  Plus I still need to hang up pictures and posters and other decorative items. 

The cafe is doing ok.  Could be better!  We are open 11-2 everyday except Sunday.  We have a wide variety of food and we are very reasonably priced.  I think our most expensive thing is the $5.00 combo.  Come on out and have one of Richard's famous Chicken Wraps!!  They are awesome!!

I finished my baby registry and now I am worried again.  What if no one shows up?  Is this going to be the way that I find out that no one likes me?  Richard says I should stop worrying.  I can't help it.  I panic whenever I think of everything I still need and how much it is going to cost me.  I still need ALOT of big items and they are all over $125.00! Carseat, stroller, pack n play, crib mattress and swing.  The rest is mainly clothes and other accessories, socks, bottles, pacifiers, bibs, etc.  I found some really cute outfits too!  Here goes the panic again!   Everytime I drive by Buy Buy Baby I get worried. 

I have a talk next Sunday on Food Storage, Richard on reading the scriptures and Rebecca on Brytani's conversion.  It will be a Fisher Family Sacrament Meetin.  I guess I should start working on my talk, huh?
