Your Love Never Fails

Nothing can separate

Even if I run away

Your love never fails

I know I still make mistakes

You have new mercy for me everyday

'Cause Your love never fails

(Chorus)

You stay the same through the ages

Your love never changes

There may be pain in the night

But joy comes in the morning

The wind is strong and the water's deep

I'm not alone here in these open seas

Cause Your love never fails

The chasm is far too wide

I never thought I'd reach the other side

Your love never fails

Chorus

And when the oceans rage

I don't have to be afraid

Because I know that You love me

Your love never fails

You make all things work together for my good

You make all things work together for my good

Chorus

And when the oceans rage

I don't have to be afraid

Because I know that You love me

Your love never fails

Fisher Family Christmas

Well Christmas came and went at our house and all in all I think the kids made out pretty well this year. They each (not Rebecca) got a new pair of pajamas, a robe, a bed set, an art set, and an ornament.  Plus they each got a sibling gift. Amberlin got two Zhu Zhu Pet playsets and a microscope for kids. Christopher got an ATV remote control quad and a marble maze. Kaitlyn got a bracelet maker, a pair of jeans and a two piece outfit. ReAnna got a 3D art kit and the new Tinkerbell movie. Rebecca got a fondant tool kit and some tiny cookie cutters. We got her a pair of pajamas, a robe, two sketch pads, a set of whisks, a kitch scale, a silpat kit, and some embroidered towels.
Richard got some embroidered towels, a salt and pepper grinder and a cake airbrush kit.  I got a picture of the temple, 4 camisoles tank tops, the ENTIRE Calvin and Hobbes collectors set, some love spell and a Mother's Necklace from Origami Owl!
Riley got a Vtech laptop, a Bright Stars purse, a Vtech Nursery Rhyme book, a Vtech driver's wheel, a Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Ice Cream Scoop, A Fisher Price Brilliant Basics Walker to Wagon and a Fisher Price 3 in 1 Push n Scoot! She loves everything, especially the push n scoot!! She smiles everytime we push her around the house on it.
The kids, including Rebecca, big gift was a trampoline. We got wooden letters to spell out Trampoline and wrapped up one letter in each box for the kids and the rest of the letters for Riley. We gave them M, A, I, O and E. Then we gave them a N and they spelled out I AM NOEL. Then we gave them a R and they spelled out I E NORMAL. Eventually we gave them all the letters, but the T. They had to find the reason for the season to find the T. It was GREAT!! Rebecca figured it out first, man I was happy about that!  We took them outside and showed them the box. We are not putting it together until our hands stop freezing when we are outside for longer then ten minutes. Kids were not happy, but my hands are!!
The Friday before Christmas We took Rebecca to the Fresno County Courthouse Family Law Division and she was ADOPTED!! Yes! She is officially a Fisher now! We have to go back next week and get them to order her new birth certificate!! YEAH! Now on to ReAnna to be adopted! Whoo Hoo!! They gave Rebecca a stuffed horse and Riley thought it was for her, so Rebecca let her share it!
I hope everyone had a terrific Christmas and will turn it into a Happy New Year!!

Another Crazy Holiday Week!

The tree is up! The presents wrapped! Simply saying Christmas shopping is almost done! YEAH!!  All we need is two more gifts and we are DONE! Complete! No more stores! YEEHAWW!! I need to get one more gift for Kaitlyn and she is complete and the gift to Aunt Rachel from the kids and we are completely 100% finished with our Christmas shopping!!
The struggle now is to find something for Kaitlyn. She put things on her Christmas list that were way above the $30 limit! A kid can dream though, huh? She wanted make up, not happening!  Trying to find the right thing. She is 13 and keeps asking for stuff a 6 year old would ask for. Sorry, I draw the line at buying a 13 year old a baby doll. Some people may disagree with me, but we have spent the last two years trying to get her to step up and act like a big girl. She tends to want to act like a 6 year old. Plays in the dirt, plays with bugs, pouts and throws temper tantrums, etc. I would expect this from a six year old, not a thirteen year old in her second year of Beehives and in the 7th grade! So the other day I treated her like a six year old and put her on time out. Let me tell you! She was not happy!

As the kids decorated the tree yesterday, Riley kept making a bee line for it! She pushed boxes out of the way. Richard helped her to put one bulb on the tree. She was more interested in pulling the rest of them off, but at least she got to help!
Christmas parties last week were pretty awesome! On Thursday was the Relief Society Christmas Party and it was pretty sweet. Good food, good friends, great program! I was the end of the program, talking about being sealed to the kids right before Riley was born. Everyone was very emotional, so it was a pretty special program. Unfortunately, my personality is to make people laugh. I told my story and people giggled and loved it. I was very happy to participate and to be asked to participate. What an honor!

Saturday was the Ward Christmas Party, themed Polar Express. So much fun! Richard helped cook a ham for that dinner and was in charge of the entire dinner for Relief Society. I think they made a pretty good choice of the cook for the RS dinner! Riley had her picture taken with Santa and of course she cried! Why is Santa so scary to little kids? I was stoked that she kept her shoes ont he entire night! Riley and Camille had a baby covnersation that was so cute. They were touching and showing each other stuff. Riley pointed out her shoes to Camille and Camille showed Riley how to crawl correctly! It was just so cute!!

Sunday we went to church as usual and did our normal thing. I turned in the Barbie for the family the RS is buying gifts for this year. We decorated the tree before and after dinner. I love it! Still a few things left to decorate, but it looks great!! I do have some gifts to finish making, but that is it.

That night, I put Riley in her crib and started to put away the clean clothes on my bed. Pretty soon, she was on her knees peaking at me over the top of the crib. Turned away for another second and she is standing up, looking at me! Needless to say we had to lower the mattress!! She can still stand up in there, but no more worries about her landing on her head!

This week is going to be a busy one too. Tonight I am assembling the Graham Cracker houses for Tuesday, decorating a little more, wrapping a few more gifts, baking cookies for the office cookie exchange, and preparing to go on vacation the 14th through the 26th! Plus we have to make two wedding cakes and get everything ready to cater a reception on New Years Eve!! CRAZY!!

Twenty Days!!

Hard to believe there are only twenty days left until Christmas! Where did the time go?! I still have presents left to buy and no idea what to get them!

That was me this time last year and a week before Christmas. This year, no panic at all! I have 99% of all my Christmas shopping done via online!  All left to get is the sibling to sibling gifts and the kids gift to Rachel! I am so excited to have no stress this holiday season! Though trying to figure out what to do with a crawling baby and a Christmas tree? Do we get a superyard gate or do we just teach her to leave the tree alone?

We bought new bulbs to run lights in the front yard! Going to look awesome! We are doing simple but festive! I can not wait for Saturday to finish the decorations! Riley seems to like the lights, so walking down the Clovis Christmas Tree Lane will be great for her.

We did not go extravagant again this year with gifts, but we did get stuff the kids need and a few wants. We never get a ton of presents for the kids because we want them to understand that Christmas is about the birth of Christ and not about presents. We are going to read Twas the Night Before Christmas this year on Christmas Eve and we already watched It's A Wonderful Life. I love that movie! Richard and the kids got it for me about 2 years ago!

We are looking at having Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Squash Casserole and Braised Green Beans for dinner! Can't wait! Not sure what for dessert though yet. Maybe Chocolate Cream Pies? Not in the mood for Pumpkin right now.

I do get December 14th through December 26th off from work. Time to bake and deliver goodies to friends, visiting teaching ladies and Richard's home teaching families! YUMMY!!

Life is back to normal

We are back in the swing of normalcy again! School is back in session and the kids are no longer saying "I am bored!" Richard always tells them, then find something to do, we are not the entertainment directors on a cruise ship. Most of the time they are bored when they are not getting their way when they are playing with their siblings.
My vacation started out pretty interesting. Riley cut two teeth the Friday before my vacation! She was no longer a cranky baby, except for yesterday. On Sunday Richard was cooking a standing rib roast and we discovered that our oven was broken! Great! Perfect! Right before Thanksgiving too! The top element worked but not the bottom one. I bought a oven thermometer to make sure and it was broken for sure. I set the oven to 450 and the thermometer only read barely 200. Crud! How would we cook Thanksgiving dinner? We had about 15 people going to be there for dinner! Richard said we would go rent one from Rent A Center if we needed to.
Monday I was trying to cook dinner after I called the landlord and he put in a work order to get the oven checked out and hopefully fixed. I was putting bread crumbs on top of the casserole I made and instead of pulling my hand straight out, I lifted it up and burned my hand on top element that was at 450 so I could cook my casserole! Ouchie wawa!! Man that hurt. It was so hot the burn turned white!
My casserole was pretty darn good, but putting on the oven mitts was very painful. So Richard had to help me. I was pretty impressed with my casserole, other then needing more salt, the kids ate it up! I made up the recipe and was pretty shocked that it tasted so good!
I called the appliance repair shop like the landlord asked me to and they said they could be at our house at 9:30 Tuesday morning! We prayed that it could be fixed and our prayers were answered! It was a bad heating element. He replaced it and the oven WORKED!! YEAH!  Time to bake and get things ready for Thanksgiving! I made Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread and only one turned out! I took that to one of my Visiting Teaching ladies. I need to make two more for my other ladies this week!
Rachel's kids showed up Wednesday and chaos erupted in the house! Noise and laughter and yelling and everyone trying to talk over everyone else. So of course my anxiety kicked in and I got grouchy!!
Thanksgiving was great! I had prepped everything the day before so all we had to do, was cook it! We had the missionaries and a lady from our church over. She is a sweet lady. She lives by herself and is a recent convert. Richard had asked her what she was doing for Thanksgiving and she said a lady at church was going to bring her a plate of food later in the day on Thursday. Richard talked to me and we decided she is too nice of a lady to be alone, so we invited her over. She really enjoyed watching the parade with my kids. She said it was funny to watch them get all excited over celebrities in the the parade.
We ate and then watched Forever Strong. It was awesome! The coach in the movie Larry Gelwix, is our Mission President! I am so getting a copy of the movie and asking him to autograph it! My friend Anne's copy is autographed. We paused the movie in the middle and served pie and went back to watching the movie!
We dared Walmart that same evening to see if we could get the one thing we wanted for the kids for Christmas, but they were all gone! We had been at Walmart earlier that day and the lines for Black Friday items were already forming! Crazy! We were glad that the item was not there because the checkout lines were HORRIBLE!!!! The registers in the front of the store's lines were all the way around the clothes department! We would have been there for days!!
Luckily the item went on sale at walmart.com for a little more then the sale price but still way below the original price! So we got it and the kids picked out their gifts for Riley for her first Christmas. Needless to say, I will be buying stock in batteries and buying out the 99cent stores!
By Friday evening the house was chaos free! WE relaxed and looked at our christmas list and figured out all that was left to get was the sibling to sibling gift, the kids' gift to Rachel and one more gift for Rebecca and we are done!! We will be doing our Christmas picture next week and then our Christmas cards will be done! We still need stocking stuffers, but that is pretty easy. Richard and Rebecca learned how to make candy in school, so they will be getting home made candy in their stockings, plus our friends will be getting homemade candy, coookies and breads for gifts also!
I am hoping this holiday season will be relaxing a joyfull and no last minute trip to the stores to get gifts! YEAH!!
So How was your Thanksgiving?

Casserole Recipe
1 large bag egg noodles cooked to 90% doneness
2 head of Brocoli, cut up and par boiled
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, roasted with salt and pepper and olive oil, then cut up into bite size pieces
3-4 cups Richard's Cheese sauce
Bread crumbs

in large casserole dish pour drained noodles into bottom of dish, evenly sprinkle the chicken and brocoli on top. Pour cheese sauce over top and lightly mix all together. Put into oven at 350 for 20 minutes, covered, then remove cover and sprinkle on bread crumbs. Cook until bread crumbs are golden brown. Eat and enjoy!

Richard Cheese Sauce

1 stick of butter
8 tblsp flour
half a block of Velveeta cheese cubed
1/2 cup shredded colby jack cheese
4 cups milk

Melt butter in pot, whisk in flour to make a roux. let bubble for a few minutes to get rid of the flour taste. Add milk. As it heats up the milk, butter and flour mixture will thicken. Turn off heat when the mixture is thickened to your desired thickness. Add velveeta and mix to help melt. When the velveeta is melted add the colby jack. add white pepper to taste. Cheese sauce should be pourable but not runny, like cheese wiz when you heat it up in the microwave. It also great on brocoli or add Rotelle and is a great dip!

Sunday Song Learning

About 9 in the morning yesterday, we got a call from Julie Rowley asking Amberlin to sing a song in Relief Society. Amberlin spent about 2 hours learning the song and the tune and did a great job!! The lesson was on kindness by George Albert Smith, a prophet of our church many years ago. It basically taught, if life gives you lemons, make lemonade! Take the sour and add some sugar!! The song was sweet and many of the women cried. She forgot one little section and I think it was because she was on the verge of tears watching all the women start crying over her beautiful little voice and the sweetness it added to the song.

I’ll Walk with You

If you don’t walk as most people do,

Some people walk away from you,

But I won’t! I won’t!

If you don’t talk as most people do,

Some people talk and laugh at you,

But I won’t! I won’t!

I’ll walk with you. I’ll talk with you.

That’s how I’ll show my love for you.

Jesus walked away from none.

He gave his love to ev’ryone.

So I will! I will!

Jesus blessed all he could see,

Then turned and said, “Come, follow me.”

And I will! I will!

I will! I will!

I’ll walk with you. I’ll talk with you.

That’s how I’ll show my love for you.

Vent Time

Why did he get re-elected?!?!? I voted for the better candidate, well I think he is.

The country is out of work,  in debt up to their eyeballs, to put gas in your car you need a loan, there are unemployed people everywhere fighting for jobs at McDonald's with teenagers, people are losing their houses, etc. Why would people vote for four more years of the same crap?!?! I guess they like punishment?

I guess all I can do is pray everyday that he will do a better job this time around. Maybe he will make more jobs, get us out of debt, help people keep their houses, lower gas prices, etc. Well we can pray he can, right?

I could not stand to watch them call the states when not even 90% of the votes were in! Why do that?!?!

AGAIN my hate for politics has been renewed!!

Back to the gym

Yes! I did it! I went back to the gym! I did it!! I spent almost thrity minutes on cardio machines! Then another thirty minutes on weights!! YEAH! I almost died but I did it!!

My legs hurt when I got home and walking up the stairs I could feel the muscles straining. I can't wait to go back tonight! I am on a lower calorie diet and going to the gym 4 times a week for an hour. Next week I will go for an hour and a half and lower my carb intake!! I want to lose 20 pounds by Christmas and then another twenty my end of February!

A month of Thanks!

This is it! The month that we celebrate Thanksgiving and everything that we are thankful for! I am posting on my facebook every day something I am thankful for. There is so much to be thankful for.

I AM THANKFUL

FOR THE WIFE

WHO SAYS IT'S HOT DOGS TONIGHT,

BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME,

AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

FOR THE HUSBAND

WHO IS ON THE SOFA

BEING A COUCH POTATO,

BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME

AND NOT OUT AT THE BARS.

FOR THE TEENAGER

WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES

BECAUSE THAT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME,

NOT ON THE STREETS.

FOR THE TAXES

THAT I PAY

BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT

I AM EMPLOYED.

FOR THE MESS

TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY

BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT I HAVE

BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.

FOR THE CLOTHES

THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG

BECAUSE IT MEANS

I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT.

THAT WATCHES ME WORK

BECAUSE IT MEANS

I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE.

FOR A LAWN

THAT NEEDS MOWING,

WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,

AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING

BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME.

FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING

I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT

BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT

WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

FOR THE PARKING SPOT

I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT

BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING

AND THAT I HAVE BEEN

BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION.

FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL

BECAUSE IT MEANS

I AM WARM.

FOR THE LADY

BEHIND ME IN CHURCH

THAT SINGS OFF KEY

BECAUSE IT MEANS

THAT I CAN HEAR.

FOR THE PILE

OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING

BECAUSE IT MEANS

I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.

FOR WEARINESS

AND ACHING MUSCLES

AT THE END OF THE DAY

BECAUSE IT MEANS

I HAVE BEEN

CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.

FOR THE ALARM

THAT GOES OFF

IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS

BECAUSE IT MEANS THAT I AM ALIVE.

AND FINALLY.

FOR TOO MUCH E-MAIL

BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE

FRIENDS WHO ARE THINKING OF ME.

Midnight hour is close at hand!

It's close to midnight

something evil's lurkin' in the dark

under the moonlight

You see a sight that almost stops your heart

You try to scream

But terror takes the sound before you make it

You start to freeze

As horror looks you right between the eyes

You're paralyzed

'Cause this is thriller

Thriller night

And no one's gonna save you

From the beast about to strike

You know it's thriller

Thriller night

You're fighting for your life

Inside a killer

Thriller tonight, yeah

You hear the door slam

And realize there's nowhere left to run

You feel the cold hand

And wonder if you'll ever see the sun

You close your eyes

And hope that this is just imagination

Girl, but all the while

You hear a creature creepin' up behind

You're outta time

'Cause this is thriller

Thriller night

There ain't no second chance

to fight the thing with the forty eyes, girl

(Thriller)

(Thriller night)

You're fighting for your life

Inside a killer

Thriller tonight

Night creatures crawl

In the depths up to haunt in their masquerade

There's no escaping the jaws of the alien this time

(They're widen open)

Is the end of your life

They're out to get you

There's zombies in on every side

They will possess you

Unless you change that number on your dial

Now is the time

For you and I to cuddle close together, yeah

All through the night

I'll save you from the terror on the screen

I'll make you see

That this is thriller

Thriller night

'Cause I can thrill you more

Than any ghost would ever dare try

(Thriller)

(Thriller night)

So let me hold you tight

And share a

killer, diller, chiller

Thriller here tonight

'Cause this is thriller

Thriller night

Girl, I can thrill you more

Than any ghost would ever dare try

(Thriller)

(Thriller night)

So let me hold you tight

And share a

(killer, thriller)

I'm gonna get you tonight

Darkrkness falls across the land

The midnight hour is close at hand

Creatures crawl in search of blood

To terrorize y'all's neighborhood

And those whoever shall be found

Without the soul for getting down

Must stand and face the hounds of hell

And rot inside a corpse's shell

I'm gonna thrill you tonight

(Thriller, thriller)

I'm gonna thrill you tonight

(Thriller night, thriller)

I'm gonna thrill you tonight

Ooh, babe, I'm gonna thrill you tonight

Thriller night, babe

The foulest stench's in the air

The funk of forty thousand years

And grizzly ghouls from every tomb

Are closing in to seal your doom

And though you fight to stay alive

Your body starts to shiver

for no mere mortal can resist

the evil of the thriller

(Evil laugh)

Stake Conference

This weekend was Fresno North Stake's Stake Conference. It was pretty awesome. Our special guest speaker was our Area 70 Elder Packard!  He was funny and very interesting to listen to. During the adult session, he asked if we had any questions. There were about five of them and he answered them or had someone answer them. We laughed and we cried and we listened intently.

He talked about broken families and how we need to just forgive and love them. He talked about the energy drinks and how we need to lead by example. If we do not want our children to drink them, then we should not, but ultimately it is their choice. He talked about not letting anyone tell you at church that your special needs child needs to be quiet, they are special and God sent them to you. He also mentioned that now that they changed the ages for missionaries, they want to be sure the new missionaries have someone to teach.

He was a very dynamic speaker and he held our attention the entire time he was talking.

Debate and things!

I have seen part of the debates and have heard people discussing them, but I still have no idea what they are talking about. I know who I am voting for, but I really do not understand the topics of the debates. It all sounds like BLAH BLAH BLAH!!

At church there was alot of praying for the missionaries at church this weekend. The Bishop asked that they be mentioned in all prayers that day and by name. It was pretty cool. Prayers were long, but meaningful!

The talks at sacrament were about tithing. They talked about the blessings people have received and what is done with the money. I loved how they mentioned that if you have not paid past tithing, you can become full tithe payers very easy. No need to pay past tithes just pay your tithing now and you are a full tithe payer! It was a great meeting!

Riley was cranky at church, so I spent alot of time in the Mother's Room or walking the halls with her. She was just so dang tired!!  She only took like a twenty minute nap!

Has anyone ever seen Raising Hope? It is totally hilarious!!

A surprise party and conference!

Our weekend started with the preparation for Rebecca's surprise 18th birthday party. Richard had her believing that we were doing a catering gig for Tom on Saturday. She helped shop for it and prepare some of the food. She was pretty upset that she was going to be without her family on Saturday because of the catering gig.

At 3:45 Richard went to get Rebecca's friend Tiffany so that they could go to the movies to celebrate Rebecca's birthday. They went to see the new Spiderman movie, which was one and a half hours later. We were at home doing the final food prep and setting up the house and backyard and doing some last minute cleaning. At 6:15 people started arriving. By 6:45 we had about 35 people in our house. We got the call that they were on their way home and we all headed outside to surprise her. The look on her face was priceless! She was so surprised! We had alot of fun and she really enjoyed herself.  Later she told Richard that she was going to miss us tomorrow while we were at Tom's catering event. Richard spilled the beans to her about it being a lie. Strange enough she never put it all together, especially after she saw the food we said was for Tom being served at her party.

The best part of that day was when Rebecca went to take a shower and my sister wanted to go dump a glass of cold ice water on her. Richard said he would take care of it and he filled up a pitcher with ice and water. Yes he filled up a one gallon pitcher. We snuck into the bathroom and Richard dumped it on her. Her exact word were "What did you get me wet with?". It was hilarious.

Conference was amazing! Dallin H Oakes talk was the best one! Of course the Prophet too, but I really like how Oakes gave it to us! I can't wait for his talk to be published in next monthes Ensign! There were alot of good talks especially the one from the female speakers. I liked her phrase, "First Observe, then Serve".

What talks did you like at conference?!?!

Weekend Update

This weekend started with a funeral in Los Banos for my best friend's mother. It was a catholic ceremony and it was VERY different. All the standing up and weird things said after the priest said something, was a very interesting experience. I got to see real nuns for the first time in my life, and they were not like Sister Act nuns! They wore a gray habit and did alot of kneeling and crossing themselves. I was hoping they would sing like the nuns on Sister Act, but nope!
That night we went to the Peachwood Ward Fall Social. It was pretty fun. They did Minute to Win It! It was hilarious. I really wish that I was able to participate, but it was the younger couples with children. It seems like at 39, I am too old for stuff like that. It was a fun night but we were very tired when we got home.
The next morning, Riley had a fever. We think it was from her teething. She was cranky and only wanted me most of the day. By late afternoon she was doing great. She slept for a long time in Richard's arms and when she woke up she was happier and cooler. Still no teeth though.
Sunday we had the Sisters from the LDS employment office do a presentation during third hour. YM and YW took over primary.
Shocking as it may be, that was our entire weekend. Pretty laid back and relaxing.
Today I am back at work and I really need some more sleep. I am SOOOOO exhausted.

Weekend Warriors

This weekend Richard fed 700 kids!!  Our church had a Quad Stake YM/YW Volunteer Activity. They went door to door in North West Fresno and collected food and monetary donations for the Fresno Food Bank.  They did really good and were even featured on the news. People were so impressed that these kids took their Saturday to serve others!
There were activities later and the Fresno North Stake Center for all 700 kids. It was crazy and I have never seen that many kids before. It was like a teenager convention!! I thought it was just my teenagers that act stupid all the time, but it is not! THEY ALL DO IT!! Total shocker!
Richard said all the kids were fed in about 15 minutes! That is amazing!  I still have a few gallons of leftover sauce in my refridgerator, so we will be have lasagna, some time this week.
I cooked another roast for dinner last night and it was pretty dang good, if I do say so myself!!
I was released from the primary a few weeks ago, so I missed being in the primary program. Now I expect to get asked to speak in sacrament. I will probably throw up! My new calling is Activity Day Leader!! Awesome!!
The kids did a great job. Bishop Pauline, chose to recognize all the past and present primary workers at the end of the program. He cracked a joke that they were looking for some new primary workers that had never done it before. Everyone laughed. It was funny. Christopher said his line and then when it was Amberlin's turn, she started Christopher's line, stopped and did hers. People laughed!  Yes, us Fisher's are overachievers, NOT!!
During second hour I go with Richard to Gospel Principles class with Richard. He teaches the new members and the investigators. I like the class. After class, I had to drag Danity to class. I told her I would. She goes with Rebecca to class now. It is the younger group, but at least she is going to primary! Next week I promised her a large cookie!! I had better get working on that!!
I am making a bunch of Cricut style signs on tiles to put up in a shop to sell. I am also taking some items and making seasonal signs that can be sold together or seperate. My skills are getting better. I should start posting pictures of my signs so people can see them!
So what have you been up to?!?!

Kaitlyn's new look

Monday afternoon I get a call from a strange cell phone number. I answer it and I have ReAnna, who has no phone etiquette apparently asking me who is this. Then I get told Kaitlyn has had a bike accident. I start thinking crud, she fell off her bike and is pulling an Olivia. Olivia is ReAnna's friend that comes up with every way possible to try to get out of riding her bike to school. Then the paramedic gets on the phone and tells me she has broken her tooth and to know surprise to me, Kaitlyn crying like she is being murdered in the background.
I get there and she is in the back of the ambulance with a bandage on her knee, crying for all she is worth. So I had to do the tough love and get her to stand up and show the paramedics that she is not dying.
After talking to her, she was riding her bike and not paying attention, turned to look at something and took her handbars with her, resulting with her going over the top of her handbars.

She broke her tooth and scrapped up her knee. Got her home and within an hour, she was running around in the backyard with her siblings and the dogs. So pretty much she is fine. One of her teachers at school, said she rushed right in to show her the broken tooth.

Go Back to Church Sunday

This Sunday is National Go Back To Church Sunday! Invite someone to church. Survey says most people without a church they attend regularly will go to church with a friend if they ask!  SO get out there and DO IT!!!
