Crazy!

It is just plain crazy!  Rebecca announced at church on Sunday that I am eight weeks pregnant and she said everyone had this surprised/excited look on their face.  She quickly followed with I still have a chance of miscarriage, so we will be more happy when we are in the second trimester.  Yesterday someone called my husband about scout stuff and said she heard from five people that I am pregnant.  Apparently it is big news in my ward.
So here I am 38, pregnant with my third child, Richard'd first.  Trying to eat healthy and keep it down.  Any idea of chicken, steak, pork, fish, etc makes me nauseas now!  So right now I am living on vegetables, baked potatoes, OJ, milk and water.  Richard is trying to find stuff that is high in protien so that I can substitute it for meat.
Monday and Tuesday I was sick with a bug from the kids at school.  So I am back at work today and using my trashcan as my personal vomit catcher.  Yuck!!  Tired and waiting three more weeks so I can be past the miscarriage danger.

Friday Reprieve!!

No football game to work the concession stands for!  No parents to beg to work it! No dealing with kids who give me a twenty for a $2 soda!  No explaining to people that we are out of hot dogs and to come back in 15 minutes!
Don't get me wrong, I love working the concession stands, but I need one more week to get ready for all that!  I need one more Friday night that is mine.  I need one more week before my feet and legs hurt because I spent 5 hours on them serving food to kids and parents.
I want to sit on the couch and watch a movie with my kids, relax that the first week of school is over, go to a birthday party, go to church, etc.  I need to bake cookies this weekend!  Chocolate Chip and Sugar Cookies!  YEAH!!
I can sleep in and hope that my husband left me!

New Bed

I am so happy this day!  My husband took time out to look for a new bed for me last night.  Then to surprise me anymore, he put it together that night so we could sleep on it!  Our old bed was 8 years old and had the typical worn down area in the bed.  Needless to say I am a stomach sleeper and it was killing my back!  This new bed is plush firm and I can sleep on my stomach and my back feels great!! It has memory foam in it so it is like sleeping on a cloud!  :)  I now it's a cliche but after how bad I have been sleeping the last 3 weeks, I can deal with cliches!
So how did you sleep last night?  I slept like a baby!

What is wrong with people?!?!

Last night was a very interesting Relief Society Enrichment Activity.  We learned how to take pictures that look professional with a digital camera.  Very interested.  Plus another Brother showed us how to make videos with our pictures.

The event was crazy but the buzz was what was making everyone a little angry.

Someone came into our church and stole the end tables, lamps and some of the chairs.  All from the foyers!  What is up with people?  Why would you steal from a church?  Just plain stupid and crazy!   Plus they went looking for the rolling chalk board and that is missing too!  What the heck is wrong with people?!?!?

Weekend

I did it!  I gave blood!  I had a huge needle in my arm draining one pint of blood from my body!  I did not pass out. I did not get nauseated or light headed!   The only part that almost got me was watching the bag rock back and forth while a friend was giving blood.  Almost spewed!  I can handle gory movies, but watch real blood rock back and forth, oh heck no!

We checked out a shop that had restaurant equipment for sale and went to madera to see a large restaurant hood, but other then that and the blood donation, we vegged.  We finished the shelves for the pantry and craft room, now we just need to go through stuff to eliminate it.  There is going to be a lot of stuff sold on ClovisYardSale!  Yeah!  Had the Comstocks over for dinner and went to see a movie with Anne!

How was your weekend?  How was Nia's visit?

Interesting Post

I have to delete a "friend" from my Facebook and from Rebecca and ReAnna's also.  Her post for today was all about how drunk she got and how much fun it was to be drunk.  I told her that I would be deleting her because I do not want my children to read how she glorifies getting drunk.  So her response was that I was rude and she would be deleting me.  And how she is an adult and can do what she wants.  I am sorry but her post sounded like something a teenager would post not an adult.
I use to consider her my niece, but unfortunately now I am not sure what she is.  I use to take her side when she complained about her step mother, but now I see it all to be true.  I do know that I do not want her around my children.  One of my daughters use to say she wanted to hang out with her, well that won't be happening anytime soon.
Maybe one day she will grow up, but she needs to do it on her own.  I can not help her anymore.

Thanks for letting me vent!!

Camping Overview

We ended up leaving a little later then planned, but we did get there.  Our normal camping spot was occupied, but we found another that we liked just as much.  I even had to move the Armada with the trailer attached and I sort of freaked myself out a little.  I did it though.
We set up the trailer and tent and then Richard started dinner.  Salisbury steak, green beans and mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy!  Mmmmmmm.  The kids slept in the tent minus Rebecca and Elizabeth.  Of course the tent sleepers had to threatened with possible beatings, letting the bears eat them or strip them naked, pour syrup on them and let the ants have at it before they actually fell asleep. Then they were up at 5:30 in the morning and we had to threaten them again.
We went on hikes, watched the kids play Waring Indian Tribes.  Making teepees, firepits, etc.  They dug in the dirt and got filthy dirty.  Breakfast was pancakes with sausage and everyone ate like they had not eaten in monthes!  We took naps and wandered around as couples.  No hanky panky, though.
Lunch was foccacia style sandwiches. were lunch.  Turkey, Havarti Swiss, tomatoes, lettuce, mustard and a cream cheese mayonaise mixture.  Yummy!   Dinner was Teriyake chicken with stir fry veggies and rice.
The next day we had church in a perfect section of the forest and even did sacrament(we had the bishop's permission). It was peaceful and very spiritual.  We had a little testamony meeting.  Breakfast that day was omelettes with onions, mushrooms, sausage and cheese. Yummy!!!

We packed up after that and did our typical "Leave No Trace" walk and headed home!  We got home around 2 and we emptied out the camper and then everyone took a well needed shower!   Man were the kids dirty.  The shower had small piles of dirt!  We had a blast and alot of fun with the Comstock's.  Hoping to do it again soon!

Camping and Sad news

Tomorrow we are off to our family camping trip!  I plan on taking tons of photos and documenting it in my annual Shutterfly scrapbook. :) I can't wait to get up there in the mountains with the clean cool air and out of the polluted hot air down here!  The kids are going to play in the dirt, climb rocks, go on hikes, eat and sleep dirty!  YEAH!!

Sad News
A young man that we knew from church and band, passed away last night after a long battle with Valley Fever, he was 19.  He was hospitalized in Selma but transferred to Fresno Community, where he passed away.  He was always very nice and always smiling.  My prayers go out to his family and wish them comfort during this time.

I know that he is with his Heavenly Father and has no more pain or illness.  He will be with his family again soon.

Here come's the weekend!!

Here is it Wednesday and I just can not wait to camping Friday through Sunday up at Mushroom Rock!  YEAH!  I love it up there!  It is quiet no people around other then us.  The kids can dig and play and have a ton of fun!  I can read and take naps and just be completely lately lazy!!  Good outdoor cooking, but not your typical hamburgers and hotdogs either.  We will be having salisbury steak, teriyake chicken, omeletes, focaccia sandwiches.  All gourmet camping food!  Yummy Yummy Yummy!  I am hoping to be able to go camping again with more friends and with my family!  LOVE IT!!

Tonight we are going to Red Lobster tonight with the Arnold's!  Love that place and our friends!  Thursday will be my Friday! Then I will be cleaning out and repacking the camper with the camping essentials and then we leave that afternoon!  YEAH! YEAH!

I'm so excited!

Well Richard served the eviction notice to the person that was occupying the space where his kitchen will be going at The Palace Courtyard!  If all goes well, we will be starting our restaurant construction on Monday!  YEAH TEAM FISHER!!  There are a few things that need to be done this week, but it is all simple stuff. like fictitious business name and a tax id. Easy peasy for this week.  Next week the hard stuff starts!  Tearing down a wall, putting in a new doorway, covering a doorway, moving plumbing, addind plugs and a sewer line.  Then we start moving in the kitchen stuff.

Last night Richard got me the birthday present that we have been waiting to get for so long!   It is a sewing machine embrodery machine combination!  I can't wait to start embrodering things!  RibbitStitch here we come!  I am working on sewing shorts and pants, then I will put the kids names on their church bags!  YEAH!!

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it!

Weekend Follies

This weekend was filled with alot of heat and thunder and lightning.  Strange weird weather.  We went to the Cox's and got more of the wood chips they want to get rid of!  I have 8 XXXL buckets full.  Crazy! Then we went to get some stuff for our upcoming camping trip with the Comstocks this coming weekend.  Then we had the Cox's over for dinner.  Chicken fried steak.  Mmmm!
Sunday was church and we read scriptures and watched various recorded cooking shows.  Pretty much a laid back relaxed weekend!
We finished Mosiah and Alma 1-31 in the primary reading challenge.  At the rate we are going 32-64 in Alma should be done in a few weeks, then on to Helaman!

Friday was one of the saddest days in a long time.  Our friends the Van Nortwick's buried their 37 year old son.  He died Monday of a heartattack, leaving behind a wife and two young sons.  We went to the graveside service.  There was alot of people there and it was HOT!  Dillion their youngest grandson came right over and gave Richard a hug.  Tom brought us water.  Richard was very touched that Dillion came over just to give him a hug.

When Richard told Lurane about it, she said that he was going to be a very important part in Dillion's life.  When she said that, this house that we have been looking at, popped into his head.  It is in the same neighborhood as the Van Nortwicks.  So we are going to take another look at trying to buy it.  It is undesirable to most, but to us it is perfect and has so much potential!  It is exactly what we need for our family of 7.  So pray that we can get it and everything will fall into place for it and the restaurant.

Love you Tana, Phu, Anne!!
