Accomplished!

Well,I did it!  I finally joined Fitness 19!  I have an official gym membership!  Rebecca and I are workout buddies!!  YEAH!  We will be going Monday, Wednesday and Friday regularly at 8pm!  We did the treadmill and bike yesterday.  On Wednesday we will be adding in the weights and then the stairmaster!  Eventually I want to try the Eliptical machine, but only after I am far more coordinated! 

I got a workout outfit and once that is too big(cross your fingers), I will get the cute pink and gray one that I liked!  YEAH!! 

Birthday

Tomorrow is my birthday.  I remember when I worked at Directory Assistance, when my friends there turned 30, I would make them a special scrapbook of memories of all of us.  I spent a lot of time on them and made sure they really looked good.  They all loved them, when I transfered top a different department, they continued the tradition.  I think the reason it makes me sad to think about those scrapbooks is that no one ever thought to make one  for me.  Not for a birthday or as a going away present.   Maybe they don't consider me that good of a friend, maybe they just don't care.  All I know is as soon as I left that department, I no longer existed in their friend circle.  No more invites to birthday parties, party lite demos, nothing. 

I know I should not dwell on it, but it just bugs me that they ask me to contribute to the others' scrapbook, but never have they thought even once to make me one.  Another year and still no scrapbook.  Oh well, I know Richard and the kids will get me something great and I will forget about the scrapbook for another year!

Weekend fun!

This weekend was just plain crazy!!  Richard worked 9-5, so I had to herd and prod the children to go where I needed to go and help clean what I needed cleaning!!  

We went to Costco to get some stuff and to get Richard's Valentine's Day gifts.  Cooking supplies!  He loves getting stuff like that for gifts!  That and chocolate and he is all set!!  Then we went to Walmart to get some stuff, socks, undies, and yeas a basketball for Christopher.  Not sure where he is going to use it, but he has one now!!  Then we were off to get the Kids TV room clean and organized!  I moved the TV around, rearranged furniture, hung up pictures and got rid of JUNK!!!  Then in the middle of it, I called the hair salon and they said there was no wait, so off Christopher and I went to get his hair cut!!  In and out in 30 minutes!  That NEVER happens!!!  It was awesome!!!

Sunday we celebrated our Valentine's Day.  Richard has to work that night, so we had our big fancy dinner Sunday night.  Yummy!  Steak, Lobster Tails, fried shrimp, and home made clam chowder!  I had picked up a red velvet cake at Costco for $2.00 off, so that was dessert!!  

Richard got a new strainer, cheese slicer, garlic shake and chopper, Magic Bullet and a Cuisinart Min Chooper!  I got a Cricut Expressions and $100 worth of cartridges, which I am getting on Ebay because I can get 5 there!  So awesome!!  Have ot used it yet, but I can not wait! 

My birthday is this Thursday, so I am really curious as to what I am getting for that!!    My birthday dinner is tri tip, shrimp stuffed mushrooms, mushroom risotto, and shrimp bisque!  MMMMMmmmmmm!  I can taste it now!  The tri tip has been marinating for almost a week!!

First week fo February

The first week went by smoothly and pretty effortlessly!  I cooked more then I like to, but it was ok, no one died of food poisoning!  Big Yea for me!! 

Rebecca and ReAnna are doing better in school and keeping up with their homework.  Kaitlyn is struggling, but now I see what the problem is.  Christopher and Amberlin are starting to understand more and get what they need to be schoolwise.  I still need to finish my accounting class, but I just can not find the time!!

I went to a Relief Society Enrichment Event and it was Speed Friendship!!  Fun and Valetine's Day oriented with all the hearts and chocolate!!  Yummy yummy!!  Next month I am told that it is a service project making hats for cancer patients!  Cindy said I get to teach!!!  Yeah!! 

Saturday we cleaned out the garage a little more and now it seems cleaner and alot less cluttered.  We still have alot to get rid of in the house and in the garage, but we are well on our way to completing the get rid of clutter and stuff we do not need anymore goal for 2011!  YEAH TEAM!! 

Sunday was super bowl and I am not happy with the outcome of that game.  I just can nto stand Green Bay and I do not care what a great team they are!  They make my skin crawl!!  I don't like the Steelers, but I don't like Green Bay more.  I wish it was the 49ers in the super bowl, but they have sucked since Young left!!

This week, I will be cooking 4 days this week!  And I am not allowed to cook only chicken!!  Darn it!!  Tonight I am cooking fish, not sure what with it, but fish it is!  Christopher is going to be so unhappy!  He hates fish, but he eats it under great duress!!  Not sure if that word is spelled wrong, but not caring!!

February, already?!?!

Hard to believe that the first month of the new year is gone already!  Whatever happened to January?  It is like it was here one day and gone the next!  I turn 38 on the 17th and I am so not looking forward to it!  Rebecca and I will be joining a gym this month and working out at least three times a week maybe more.  It all depends on our schedules.  I am hoping for at least 3 times a week though!

Last month was a busy crazy month so I am sure that is why it went by so fast.  Things that you are stressing over always seem to get there a little faster then what seems normal.   The Pinewood Derby was last month and that seemed like it got here very fast.  It's not that I dislike the derby, I just think that it is way too stressful for the kids.  One boys car broke on the last race!  Poor kid.  Christopher came in 4th overall. 

This month is a shorter month and I am sure it will go by faster then January.  There is valentines day, Amberlins birthday and baptism, my birthday and tax refund day!  So there are two birthday dinners, a baptism, and a birthday party to plan.  Plus paying off bills with the tax refund! 

This year we are paying off all of our debts and saving money to buy a house at the end of the year!  With all the foreclosures in our neighborhood, we should be able to get what we want at a great price!!  I am just keeping my fingers crossed for a yard big enough for two swing sets, a garden and a pool!!  And at least four bedrooms and RV parking.  That is not asking for too much, is it?   I hope not, some of the houses that are being foreclosed on have all those amentities!  YEHAW!!  

Plus I am hoping to find the time to finish my editing of my book and try to get it published!  I have so many stories in my head, but I need to get this one done first!!    I have an awesome idea for a horror/scary story and two more mysteries.  And a couple of kids stories!!
