Give Kids the World Village......

When we landed we were greeted by three sweet volunteers from Give Kids the World. They helped us get our rental van and sent us on our way. The facility is literally like the candy-land board game....amazing! They actually have a Give Kids the World version of the board game that we got to take home. The majority of the people that work there are wonderful volunteers! Because it was Thanksgiving break there were alot of kid volunteers there too with their parents. Highlights:
1. The remote controlled boats. They would stand inside the building and steer them while watching out a large window onto a little pond.
2. The huge multiple train set. It was so big it took up a room the size of my living room! They had a full town that had a drive in(we were the movie on the screen:), a moving Ferris wheel, Saw Mill and more. It was awesome!
3. The ice cream palace....not much to say about that except that it was delicious and had a huge banana split on the roof!
4. The random carnival games, cotton candy and cute characters walking around.
What a wonderful facility, so many families from around the world come to enjoy the village and make wonderful memories! Thanks to all the generous people that donate and volunteer their time.

Make a wish trip...on our way!!

The airlines were so sweet to Conner! He had farewell signs and gifts given to him. They had him stand up with his little pilot hat on and introduced him as the co pilot.:). The stewardists gave us a free meal and digi players for the kids to watch movies. Alaskan Airlines is amazing!!

On the way Conner got sick, started throwing up and wouldn't stop. Between this and the elevation we put him on oxygen and they had to give him a shot of finigrin(thanks to a sweet nurse and doctor that were on the plane:). Anytime you use the airlines emergency oxygen the emergency vehicles are waiting when you land. By the time we landed though he was good to go. The flight back we had him on oxygen and dramamine and he had an empty stomach so he only threw up once and just felt cruddy so he didnt eat til we were about to land. I think flying is just tough on his system. But we made it and had an absolute ball!!

Conner Loves Spider-Man!!!

Conner for a couple weeks kept asking to go to Walmart to buy spider man gloves. We finally did and found gloves and a hat. He has loved them! He wore them for two days straight and wanted to wear them for our primary program. We settled on just the gloves:). When Conner has them on he doesn't want to kiss me,"cause spider man doesn't kiss!). I told him he does too, upside down! I just have to flip him over to do it.....

First day of snow!

The kids are so excited!!! Skiing, fort building, snow men......and Conner knows his birthday is coming!:)

Continued....

Whitley went to a dance as a witch and Conner was Buzz, his latest hero!

Pumpkin Patch......

Conner and I went on a field trip today to the pumpkin patch. Seriously the coolest pumpkin patch I have ever been to. They had animals, a maze, a really fun hay ride, a Teepee and cabin that were part of their "village". We also got to visit the apple orchard and see how the bees pollinate the trees. To finish it off we had homemade apple cider and donuts that were delish! Such a cute little farm!!
