Happiest place on earth

Over memorial weekend we took a short trip to Southern California. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing. Me, Rob, Cory, Steph, Michelle, Lance and all 9 of our kids crammed into a 15 passenger van and drove all through the night (It sounded like a good idea at the time.) Lets just say it's a trip that will never be forgotten :)

My uncle Greg and aunt Peggy live in Mission Viejo, and they were kind enough to let us all stay at their place.

Our first stop was San Clemente Beach........We hung out all day, and later went out to dinner with the whole Briggs gang

The next morning we headed to Disneyland. It was the first time we were able to use Zowie's wheelchair pass, and I don't know how we ever did without it. We were able to bypass an hour long wait & skip to the front of the line......It was awesome!!!!!!!

Asher didn't care much for Roger Rabbit 

Poor Zowie on Indiana Jones. This ride was a little too rough for her, but I swear she LOVED the rest of Disneyland.


My uncle is part owner of Splash Kingdom in Redlands, so we spent most of the next day getting the royal treatment with our own pavillion & cabana boy :)

That night we drove to Vegas and stayed at Circus Circus. 

The next morning we ate at the Paris & did a little exploring......

Our poor children will forever be traumitized. Apparently "Kotton Kandy" was a contestant on America's got talent

Pink Party!

My little Zo Grace turned 7 years old last month.......I seriously don't even know how this happened. I remember bringing my tiny little bundle home from the hospital like it was yesterday, and now she's all grown up.

I sure hope you know what a beautiful little girl you are and how much you are loved by everyone that knows you. We are so blessed to have you in our family.........

A day at the Aquarium

Asher has turned out to be our little animal lover. The kid is OBSESSED with any and all animals. The commercial for the new Otter exhibit at the Aquarium would come on, and no matter what Asher was up to he would drop everything, run over to the TV, and yell Doggie.....woof woof. So naturally dad insisted on taking him to see the Otters.........I'm not sure who loved it more....Daddy or Asher.
