pSlE Zis OVAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

PSLE ZIS OVAH!!!!!Ahh the smell(and taste)of freedom is so sweet.Goodbye PSLE and hello computer,TV, and almost any of enjoyment on the face of this world.My grand mother is going to see a great rise in blood pressure.

At the start of the examination,my palms are FREAKING sweaty.i have to wipe my sweat almost every minute!I am very nervous and its no surprise that my palms had becomed a source of water supply.

After the exams are over, a sense of relief washed over me, more enjoyable than i have ever enjoyed.i could not say much as the feeling is indescribable.

"one shot one kill'",this is what my father always say.Hey, speaking of shot and kill, how about watching this video bellow.

Hand phone,800 dollars,lasts about 1 year----Earth, free,lasts about 4,600,000,000 years........

Earth day.......

A day we would remember the torture and stress we laid on mother earth,inspiring awareness and appreciation for the Earth's crumbling enviroment that we had all been stepping on for centuries .We now had damaged the once beautiful enviroment of the earth by polluting the atmosphere, land reclimation, littering........

Now we face the music, the earth now needs us to show more care and awareness to it.'Save The Earth' is what they now say , why did they have to waste time and effort now?Why did they not think of this when they burnt plastic ,paper and things that will pollute the enviroment?

We now have to save the earth . The Earth now needs us to now recycle, reuse and reducein order to save fossil fuels and reduce pollution.

We must now save the earth.Simple things, like switching off electrical appliances when not in use ,can help to help save the earth.

My family has started saving the earth by bringing our own bags when we go to NTUC or wet markets,have you?

The kind and the kindest....

Honesty, sincerity,courtesy.......These are all very good types of characterisics, but the one that stands tall over them, is kindness...........

Kindness is a graceful and hounerable act, but many people tend to see itin other ways.Kindness is the thing that holds people and country in unity.We could express them in many different ways .For example, you could give up your seat in the bus or MRT to a pregnant woman or old citizens . You could even do the most simplest - say "thank you " or "excuse me".

Singapore is a very gracious society, although it can be improved a lot more.People tend to neglect doing it . It is a pity , many people can make our society a 'heaven' to live in.

Yeilding to pedestrians at zebra crossing when driving

Apologising when i am in the wrong

Noticing people around to offer assistance when needed

National Museum of Singapore

Museums........museums......museums.Although i had developed a 'orrible dislike for museums , this trip to this museum had changed my ponit of view towards museums.

I entered the museum which my friends called terrific.Wow! So much things to see! From swinging chandeliars to the high tech 'companion', they made king Mindas look like a beggar.

It is important to have museum in singapore as it shows us the things in the past and from there , we started improvising.These improvisions lead us to wwhat we see in sngapore now.

What intrests me most is the living gallery of food in the museum.i like the scent of pepper , although it almost made me sneeze, i still like it.

I learnt that, during world war 2, girls joined i the defence of Singapore.

The earth hour

Earth hour is a time when we will off all the lights for one hour.it is held at 8.30 p.m yesterday(saturday). It is a event that will send a very powerful mesage to the residents of the small,dying earth that that our earth is dying from the climate change.

I hadjoin in this event yesterday.i was at my marternal grandmothers house having dinner with my cousins and relativez.Hour earth is facing a lot of the problems.1-climate change.Our earths atmosphere is getting hotter due to the green house effect in which our atmosphere is getting clogged by carbon dioxide so heat from the earth is unable to escape to space .2-Ozone depletion.the ozone is shrinking since ze 1970's by the man made materials we had burnt .

we could burn less man made materials so we could lessen the shrink of the ozone aand the clogage of the atmosphere .

class test 我名落孙山

My determined determination was crushed by the class test last week.(not including chinese.)I felt very miserable at the thought of failing far far away from my target,smell no smoke,even so, i will work hard to work 4 my target! ie. PSLE.I did not do well because of many reasons .test paper is rediculously hard and i think i did not have enough time to study.

i will try to overcome these 'monsters' by doing some work during the holidays and not wasting so much time in playing computer games.i will face these 'monsters' prepared ,not face them unprepared.

Singapore education system

The Sngapore education system is specialised, rigid, and elitist. I agree that there is little emphasis on creative thinking, unlike education systems in other societies, such as those in the United States.i also agree that , although Sngaore students are winning in competition ,they are using rote.the Sngapore edu cation sys tem is strong in exams rather than hands on, which the Americans are good in.Singapore is also winning in the TIMSS by rote.The ministry did a good job of training students to be good in Exams.The ministry could empasise more on hands on to improve on Singapores education system.I think many forenners come to Singapor to study as the Singapore Study System is sound and regonised.
