Santa & Snow

Micah loves being outside! He brings his boots to me all the time, and with the saddest little look in his eyes points to the door. Unfortunately, it has been too cold for Mom to go out! We've braved it on a couple of occasions...here he is contemplating his first taste of snow.


This was one of those parenting moments when getting the annual picture with Santa trumped the child's feelings about sitting in the red-suited stranger's lap. Feeling guilty? Yes...Worth it? Absolutely : )

Micah was a football player for Halloween. Annie was a pumpkin...she loved it : ) So did Micah! He thought he should try the pumpkin costume on for kicks, too...

Long Overdue!!

Pictures from the last couple of months...


Micah climbs on everything!!! Chairs, ladders, furniture, etc...even 24-packs of pop. The trouble is that he can get himself up, but isn't quite sure how to get back down.

Last week, Micah got to see his friends Brooklyn and Ava. Aren't they cute??!


We went to Battle Lake last week with Grandpa, Grandma, Carter, and Kaia. Carter and Micah even braved the deep end with Grandpa.


He really liked playing in the sand. I don't even think he tried eating it...that's progress!


Micah got this push toy from our neighbors and he absolutely loves it! We finally took it outside a few days ago. He cruised up and down the sidewalks all night.

Birthday at the Lake!

Grandma Kay made this cute birthday hat for Micah. He wasn't too sure what to think of it at first - but once everyone started clapping for him, he decided he must look pretty good!


Like most kids, Micah was intrigued by the candle. Luckily, Tanner and I took care of blowing it out before little hands got in the flame.

Vacation at the Lake!

Last month, we spent a week at the lake (Ryan's parent's house). It was so fun spending time with the whole family!

Micah liked splashing around in the water and LOVED boat rides (as long as the boat was moving). Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of him in the boat...this is the only water picture I took. Oops!

First Haircut!

It's been a month already since his Micah's first haircut, but thought I would post these pics anyways...better late than never!


As you can probably see, this is a "before" picture...our little wild man!

Micah was not too excited about the thought of scissors coming at him...luckily it went fast! He wailed the whole time!


All done! I couldn't bear to have much of his hair cut off, so he just got a trim around his ears and in the back. You probaly can't even tell by this picture - but it was a big difference to me!
