I want to work. I realised I've turned into a workaholic lately. I'm just so bored sitting at home and doing nothing that eventually I head to school nearly everyday to watch movies.HR said they are still processing my application and when I called today the lady laughed when I told her I forgot to return my airport pass. LOL.

I can't sleep everyday because I am so used to working shift, waking up at 5 and even at one time at 3 and having to go down for my pick up at 3.30. It's am actually like 3am and 3.30am. I used to hate it and wished I had a more normal life but I soon enjoyed it. My offdays are days when everyone is working which equates to more weekday promo for watching movies and I can actually beat the crowd on off days and when going home.

I'm gonna watch curious case of Benjamin Button later yay!

I haven't updated my blog in a long long time. Probably the last time was before the earth even existed.

Anyways I realized how much I miss school. Being able to have to much time to myself and friends, having time to relax and to skip lectures and having elearning assignments and the list goes on. But friends are the ones whom I miss the most sharing laughter and joy together.. I guess it's human but then again I made lots of good new friends here and I would really miss them after I leave the company. I might continue for a couple of months until NS

It's a really stressful job but I realized I grew through the job. Being able to stand up and start scolding back passengers if there was a dispute and normally things almost always go my way. I didn't realize this until a fellow colleague was impressed at how I handle a dispute with me just being confident and putting my foot down.

Anyways, any one feel free to visit us these days if you want to. We are normally almost always at the counter.

I ran a flight yesterday and for some reason I really enjoyed it. CX712 to HKG via BKK and it was quite fun. The IM was so hilarious and confident of me. I really enjoyed running again through a flight. What's more I did the flight with the crazy trio of Farra, Shaiful and Faizal. Although it's quite rare I get to do it again as I'm more of a counter person for my duties.

I fenced Nontapat Panchan! He's really awesome lah. But I managed to beat him 5-4! Woo hoo! I now can say I have beaten an olympian. Although I beat him in epee but still he's an olympian and a world class fencer. And there were some Youth Olympic people who came down to do some video publicity shoot and I'll be in it. Cool right?

Work seems okay. Did a KA flight. Was damn slack la that flight, the coordinator just stand around do nothing and the rep was really friendly and crazy . Can talk alot of nonsense, still she's damn cute and funny. Was laughing still my stomache hurt.

I haven't been fencing since last Sunday!!! argh!!! being fenceless can drive me nuts but I ought to take a break. I think I've been pushing myself to hard especially during nat trials where after raining + fasting = an ultra humid weather and me feeling half dead.

Work is getting well, I thought after all the CBL we would be doing more stuff at Pax terminal 1 but we are still stuck on the computer for the next 1 week or so. Frankly speaking, I think I would prefer walking around at the airport.

I'm finally wearing my uniform. I'm grateful to be able to wear such a nice uniform during my attachment although it's really really stuffy but luckily the office and the airport is really suiting for eskimos. It's full formal + vest + jacket. I can wither wear the jacket or vest but without the jacket I look like a lost waiter, with the jacket I have to button up and feels uncomfy so I opted to wear both with the jacket unbuttoned.

I think CX have got really really nice uniforms although it's not really suiting for this weather. I normally go home in the whole attire as I have to rush home to break fast and I'm too lazy to change out and I can say I'm getting used to it although today felt really really warm than usual.

And it's wierd to see the people I'm gonna work with, they will stare at me in an odd manner wondering who the hell is this fella wearing their uniform and can't recognize me. I'll break the stare with a hi and then they'll start chit chatting to me.

So far everyone seems really friendly and nice from Mr. Foo, Junita, Paulina, Patricia and all the other trainers. They seem to really enjoy chit chatting with us and sometimes some random executive will just stop to chit chat even though we don't know each other. Even the police pass office people I've met when making my pass were such jokers.

Well, I can't wait when I'll be able to start my duties. Looking forward to doing NTLs escort, hunting around for missing passengers due to report at the boarding gate , all the SSS stuff and welcoming passengers at the arival hall. Not looking forward to check in though. I know you can sit down and slack but it seems rather scary as you have a million and one things to do and if you screw up, you are in real deep shit.

I have been sleeping for around 4 hours a day not counting weekends. I must sleep earlier!!! I tend to fall asleep at work or in the train. Yesterday while on the way to work, I fell asleep and when I saw the sky so bright I panicked. Can't wait to go back to pax terminal 1 as I can leave home later as compared to going to aft5.

Still in need to fence!!!argh!!! I go do some footwork later

Come to think of it, I kind of miss school. Fooling around in class with Alvin and gang, rushing through projects with Kingston, Jem, Deb and KC, going home with Mei Qing and sometimes Wei Xia ;not forgetting eating chocolates, making fun of certain lecturers etc etc.

And I was so stressed that I was wishing attachment would come faster. No it's here, I'm finding it's really boring for the first month with training everyday, having lectures and computer based learning every day or so. Miss Yee was right, once attachment is here you start missing the school days.

Fencing was okay, except there is almost nobody around.18 fencers, I'm ranked 16. So sucky right? barely made it. Lost the first DE to a national fencer 15-8. Need to work way harder to be in national team or at least be more mentally prepared and stronger next time. Oh wells. Didn't get thrashed to back. Lost to all the national fencers 5-3 I think in poules. Next time can beat them :D.

Was so tired i actually just knocked out and fell asleep today. Lucky didn't go for training, if not get sick lol.

Work was okay, cleared my Cathay test, passing rate was 90 percent. Finally got my uniform which I don't have to wear until I get to duty. Managed to get the more awesome looking one which consists of a a complete suit of tie, shirt and jacket. I think it's designed by some top notched designer. Haha, one of my big bosses said I looked awesome. They girls also, they actually look more like stewardess than check in counter.

Bumped into Kingston, Edwin and Cecilia today at the airport. Was so damn surprised. They were sending off a buddy back to Japan.

Anyways my lips is cracking. Probably due to the stupid ultra cold air con at work and me fasting. Yeah and finally got my stupid pass, so I don't have to go early to the police pass office to change it. Makes my life so much easier.

I am so worried of national trials this weekend. Aiming for a medal.

Work was spent today walking around the airport and lazing around. Anyways I will be doing stuff for Cathay Pacific and will be meeting lots of Hong Kongers in the next 5 months.

One thing that's still tickling my tummy is that one of my superiors said I didn't look like a Yazid. I look like someone from Thailand. And they thought the girls were from China because all of them coincidentally do not have English names.

They seem really warm and the atmosphere felt so familiar. It's like working again in Pizza Hut when I first joined. Odd but true. Maybe having many Malay colleagues and me having exotic Thai looks can make me score some chicks and click better with people.

Job scope sounds alot of fun, especially Gate duty and especially of course, running with people to their gates because they are going to miss their flight.

It wasn't that bad after all. I wasn't really looking forward to attachment but for some reason I am in a way a wee bit looking forward to it now. Although, making it in Changi and spending 2 hours on the road makes it, well, a road which many would rather not take but I'll probably dig up my old MP3 Player and tagging it on the way there.
