Full season

Why full season?

This term break serves many; the expected and unexpected events in my 26-to be life. In 2 months time, I will be 26, not a very good news but a reality.

Let me make it simpler to digest, I have a camp next Mon - Wed and Thurs wee hours, I will be in Changi Airport, flying off to HK. The following Tuesday, a day after the HK trip, I have an important appointment in the afternoon. What a rush, quite good actually :)

Checking the net and found out some good stuff, well..I'm going to use that for the anniversary celebration. It's my turn to plan for the event this year and I really intend to make it a good and memorable, I guess at least for myself hoho...

Life's full with unexpected events, and I truly want to savour every bit of my life now before more unexpected events come. Ah, life's really good!

Good courtesy, please!

I was waiting for the SMRT 969 bus at Tampines Interchange two evenings ago. I reached the station at about 6.30pm, thinking to myself that I would reach home by 7.30pm. I was wrong! The queue was long and I queued up comfortably with my ear piece plugged into my ears, and reading The 6th Target by James Patterson. It was then I realised I had queued for almost 35 minutes before the bus arrived. Despite its late arrival, I was quite calm with the good music and book as my companion. People rushed to board the bus. The queue was moving. I was delighted. Within a minute or two, the bus was full, packed with people boarding on despite its cramped space. The people stopped boarding all of a sudden. They were standing on the steps, waiting for the earlier passengers to move to the rear of the bus. No one did! The three-compartment bus was really cramped, but only for the first two compartments. The last compartment was quite spacious. I was appalled with what those passengers did. They stood there, refused to move in further to the rear to allow more space for other riders. I couldn't even imagine how ignorant and inconsiderate the passengers who were standing in the aisle were. No movement even after the bus driver urged them to. No one did anything. So, are our Singaporean mates ready for globalisation? Even if the answer is yes, then it is only a rapid growth economy with ignorant, rude and ugly "mr & mrs know-it-all". Maybe it was too a sweeping a remark for me to say so, therefore I edited the title to Singapore residents instead of Singaporean mates.
