Cause of death - Overwork!

It's a leisure Sunday afternoon and I'm just doing nothing but some browsing here and there. I received a forwarded email from yan and in its content, it said that a HP staff died of overwork. It sounds a bit exaggerated until I read the links given in the email.

Apparently, the deceased seemed to have seen it coming and in her blog, she stated that she didn't want to die due to overwork and stress. Click on the link if you would like to know more. *sad*

Committed in commitment?

Ziggyzag is puzzled again! Puzzled about the whole event or remarks that some ziggyzag's team members are not committed in any commitment given in the 'big' project. How funny!

It's not the end though because this whole issue is raised up again, interestingly through email. Well, when such a sweeping statement is said, Ziggyzag truly don't understand what's the level or expectations in being committed. I mean, all things are done, no delay, no postpone, everything is kept on track. So, what is it now that can cause such sweeping statement to be made? So, Ziggyzag felt that the person who made this statement is basically brainless or maybe a pitiful soul who doesn't receive enough education. Oh! Again, maybe not the teacher's or the parents' fault, it's just this person's nature and idiotic character. Feel that if I could help this person, to build this person's self esteem, insecurities and social etiquette. Maybe should send this person to some courses, hoho!!

By the way, this person is there ranting away on her brainless mode again.

Spiritual_A King and His Four Wives

Once upon a time there was a rich King who had four wives.
He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.
He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.
He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with him. Whenever the King faced a problem, he could confide in her, and she would help him get through the difficult times.
The King's 1st wife was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and kingdom. However, he did not love the first wife. Although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her!
One day, the King fell ill and he knew his time was short. He thought of his luxurious life and wondered, I now have four wives with me, but when I die, I'll be all alone." Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word. Her answer cut like a sharp knife right into his heart.

The sad King then asked the 3rd wife, "I loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to remarry!" His heart sank and turned cold.

He then asked the 2nd wife, "I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave." Her answer struck him like a bolt of lightning, and the King was devastated.

Then a voice called out: "I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go." The King looked up, and there was his first wife. She was very skinny as she suffered from malnutrition and neglect.

Greatly grieved, the King said, "I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!"
In truth, we all have the 4 wives in our lives:
Our 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die.

Our 3rd wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others.

Our 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.

And our 1st wife is our Soul. It is often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world. However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go. Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of us that will follow us into the afterlife.

Resignation Letter

How often people are 100% truthful when it comes to writing the resignation letter? I mean, many would keep some views aside and be politically correct. Of course, words like don't burn the bridges in case you may need it someday are playing in the picture. So I figure out many will use this as the template.

Dear Mr./Ms. Last Name:

I would like to inform you that I am resigning from my position as [position] for the [company], effective [date].

Thank you for the opportunities for professional and personal development that you have provided me during the last five years.

I have enjoyed working for the agency and appreciate the support provided me during my tenure with the company.

If I can be of any help during this transition, please let me know.

Sincerely,
Your Signature
Your Typed Name

I am just wondering, how many people are brave enough to send these to their bosses...hmmmm......

Dear [Recipient's name]:

Yesterday I woke up and realized that this is the worst career experience I've ever had. Therefore, I'm officially notifying you of my resignation from [company name]. My last day will be today.

This company has many problems. [insert problems here] On top of that, I can't stand to work for you any longer. You, alone, have been a constant source of pain and suffering for me ever since I started this job. I can't understand how you made it this far in the professional community. Today is a great day for me. I will never have to see, hear or listen to you ever again. Goodbye, and good-riddance!

Warmest Regards,

Get a new one before ditching the current?

ZiggyZag came across this interesting poll that was posted in a forum about getting yourself a new boyfriend / girlfriend before you make the final stroke to break up with your current one. ZiggyZag finds this interesting as it is such a real question but yet many may not be brave enough to admit the fact that many actually do such a thing. The only difference in this reality is either you could get one or not.

If you could find yourself a potential partner, then you might delude yourself by saying, "well, I didn't cheat on him, it just that I lost the feeling even before I met this new one. I can't help it, and it's just that I'm quick in jumping into a new relationship doesn't mean I am selfish to keep two and shortlist after that." So what happened to those who could not find one before a relationship is over, ZiggyZag feels that probably that's just too bad for this person, no further comment!

Of course, with facets in this issue, ZiggyZag can't conclude above as the absolute answer. More things come into the picture of a relationship, hey not so simple as you thought, you little ziggyzagger! Back to the same issue, if one is rationale, ZiggyZag would therefore says that he or she would sort the problems in the relationship without having such keen to look for a substitute. A more mature way in dealing in relationship.

ZiggyZag spies and observed, found out that many ziggyzaggers actually have the tendency to walk out of the relationship temporarily to check on others, to allow walkway for others to enter their inner world. When they could click, then this particular ziggyzagger will make the final decision to end the relationship. How selfish, yet so real!

ZiggyZag ponders upon relationship, another silly thought of the day!

Interview with The Guru

ZiggyZaggy: So, what was it like to be a teacher these days compared to those years when you just started fresh as a junior?

Guru: I don't know why you are interested to find out, but since you are keen on this. I must say it has a certain pattern in this teaching track.

ZiggyZaggy: That's interesting, what kind of a pattern did you discover?

Guru: I was honoured. It's funny to think that parents would stand by my side when I reprimanded my kids those days, I mean when they were naughty. The mindset of most parents were like, "ok boy, you must have done something for teachers do not scold you for no apparent reasons.". I must say, those were the days ho ho ho...Then gradually I saw some changes. Parents don't seem to bother much about their kids' education. Soon, we realised the emerge of the 3rd pattern which our kids started to ignore whatever we say. Some got worsen as I had colleagues's cars being scratched and some hospitalised because the kids have some connection with the gangs in the outside world. I'm not kidding but then when the technology gets more advanced, our kids started to use their cell phone to record our every movement in the class. Then they upload it in some mypipe.com and everybody can see us, with crude remarks at times.

ZiggyZaggy: So could you handle all these changes or patterns that you recognized?

Guru: You must be kidding me. Of course I can handle all these peanuts! With my years of experience, I'm an expert in all these situations.

ZiggyZaggy: Hmm, if that's the case, why did you quit from teaching albeit all your good experience and expertise?

Guru: Coz I don't want to be taken into any legal action which I don't deserve.

ZiggyZaggy: Can I derive from your statements that maybe you didn't do a good job as a teacher to your kids, and therefore you got worried unnecessarily?

Guru: You don't wanna say this, you don't wanna say this!!

*&*&**&#@##@%$^$^&*^%#@#%

ZiggyZaggy landed in the hospital due to its fiery question and the Guru is charged!

~ The End ~

Another silly thought from the ziggyzag community.

Zig The Zagger

Just got hooked with this and I don't know why. Need something to be changed perhaps! Spent some time playing with the layout, colours and so on. Very bluey huh. I just hope I could spend longer here when I'm reading my own zaggies or messages from other zaggers. Quite a mess compared to the older one, but I kinda like this, fresher look. Hope you'd like it too....My old chatbox is not working and when I tried to log in to the website, it said the domain is now for sale, I wonder what happened to the poor website. So Shoutmix is the one right now I have to depend on :p

Let's zig the ziggy zaggy ZiggyZag....

The Phantom of The Opera

It was a long-awaited show for me coz I bought the tickets Dec last year, or maybe Nov. I can't really remember the exact month but I know I bought it once it was ready for booking. Went with shi ing, daphne and fred. It was fantastic albeit the bits and zits that we can always find fault with. Sarah Brightman is still the renowned one and I don't think anyone could even compete with her, I absolutely adore her strong yet enchanting voice, if I may describe it that way. Raoul is a bit disappointing in this show, the actor did not really put in his feelings and emotions, I mean the audience would be able to feel it right away! Phantom was great, I was moved to tears twice just by his white-masked, sorrow face. Good one! The props are very well done and love the little magical movements here and there. The act when the chandelier dropped was not dramatic for me, it was quite a slow one and can definitely see the flaw. One can see right through that it was being descended slowly instead of an accident.
Overall, I give it *****
