2p pushers!

So back to Bridlington - told you there was more photos! Who doesn't love the 2p machines!! We may have got a little bit carried away ....

We didn't stop at wining just one thing!!!

After work today was more baking!! This time some blondies - white chocolate brownies!! Also made some rocky road mixed with fridge cake stuff!! Pictures to follow - still setting in the fridge!

Luncheon

I am hoping by sharing my weight loss plans with you all that I will stick to the healthy eating and exercise and do it properly this time. So i apologise now for the food and wright updates that will come!! Here is a picture of the lunch I have made ready for tomorrow - it is mushrooms at the back and not potatoes! For pudding banana, kiwi and cherries!!

York times

I arrived in York after 4 hours of travelling, in the super warm!! When I got there Andrew had a very nice surprise for me to go find in the house somewhere! A s you can see from above I was a very lucky girl!!
Saturday and the car was packed ready for our picnic on the moors.

Trying to be healthy and loose weight so we had a very good picnic, with what was above, a few crackers and some cherries and grapes - yummy times

Then on Sunday we went mega tent shopping in York. With a few stops at some of the wonderful shops!!

I'm back home now, surrounded by camping gear! I got lots of material from Boyes (one of my favourite shops!) and I am going to make a blanket and maybe some bunting if I have time for our trip! Lots to do and not much time left to do it in!!!

A tiny bit more baking - cupcakes!

This is the cushion my mum bought me today! She couldn't not buy it me apparently!! It is a very me cushion, I do have a little obsession with cushions, and this is the best addition yet!

And here are the actual cupcakes! First time I have used my cake stand - bargain at £6.99! I must admit not the best decorated cupcakes I have made - did them late last night as few people at work had been requested them!

Bunting done!!

Here is my little workstation, beds away and out comes the sewing machine! Then I may, again, have gone a bit overboard on the photos! Oh well!!

I love my mini bunting! Cant wait for its tent expedition!!

A little more bunting!!

Snip, snip, snip the bunting is all cut, I however cant face moving the sofa, my bed and the table and then going into the cupboard of doom tonight to start the sewing. It will have to wait until tomorrow!

Bunting!

Sunny sunny day, perfect time to join crafty smiles I like to be beside the seaside swap. This is going to be my first swap and I cant wait - I already have ideas of what I want to do, and will be getting started shortly!

So today I went to Bristol with my parents. Purchased some more things ready for the camping trip! Really really cant wait! Then I came home to my little flat, put the bed away (I have a fold up bed - very little flat!) and got my table and sewing machine out and made some bunting. I apologise now for the amount of photos - I got a bit excited!!

First all the cutting - this took the longest!!

These little labels were a gift from my sister for my birthday- first time I have used them!

And then finally in situ! They are there ready for you to see when you come in the door!! I love them and I am thinking I may take them on the camping trip to decorate the tent!

Baking success and a wash out

Hello all! I came second yesterday in my bake off at work! Very Happy times - I think I win some high street vouchers which is super duper exciting!!

So to the wash-out. I got home from work to find that Mr. Upstairs had a water issue as it was leaking all through my ceiling in my utility/bathroom area -everything was soaked - it just so happens to be the area I keep all my clean bedding and towels!! Anyway I have spent all day cleaning it up and my mum popped round to help me a little as well. Hopefully will all be sorted soon!

Anyways on to more fun things - my mum got me these two pictures, I love love love them!

bake-a-thon!!

So even more baking happened tonight!! Ice ream cone cakes for the bake off at work and a nice big cake for the engagement gathering!! Do you like?

I think I was a little tired after all my cake making - I may have had a 4 hour nap!! Oh dear

More baking!

Tonights baking is maltesers and rolo fridge cake! A request from someone at work for someone elses engagement party on friday night. I had to make it early as tomorrow night I need to make cakes for the works charity bake off!! It is a very busy baking time at the moment!!

This is me testing out my sleeping bag - discovered in the depths of my parents loft! It is all in readiness for my up and coming camping trip - so far we have most things except the tent and cooker!!! I am sure it will all be fine! Oh yeah I forgot I also made some oreo fridge cake - I will try and take pictures but it is not set yet - yum yum times

Brownies!

My friend from work Adam came round, I have been forever asking him to come and clean my kitchen with me (who wants to clean on there own!) but he has always said no - so today I put the question to him what if there was cakes in it!! Well that worked a treat!! Only problem was that I may have done all the cleaning by the time he arrived!! oh well! So we were going to bake cakes but then thought brownies would be more fun!! I had everything but butter - off we went to tescos where things where purchase - a creme egg bar, some chocolate buttons and the butter! So we made creme egg brownies with chocolate glaze and white chocolate buttons. We had to test one when still warm - yummy yummy yummy the rest are off for everyone at work tomorrow!

Whilst I was on the subject of cakes I thought I would show you the cake I made a few years ago for a friends 21st Hawaiian party! It had flowers around the side but I cant find the picture of them!! I will at some point show you some more of my cakes - I do love decorating them!!

York times

Here is a sneaky peek of the york bedroom!!! Its not 100% finished yet but is getting there - I really want to make some bunting but I'm not sure if it will work in this room - will have to make it work! Below is the fantastic ikea stickers going up the stairs!! I love love love love them!

Here, as promised is a few pictures of Roger - he was all snuffly this weekend, he has cat flu.

So I went to York on the weekend. Arrived on friday night and we went for a spin in the new car, accidentally stopping off at the chinese - oops! Saturday we went to a BBQ, super yummy food times, and watched the football - oh dear, less said about that the better I think.

Then Sunday we wandered about York, I really need to win the lottery - there is so many wonderful shops full to the brim of little things that you never knew you needed! I managed to resist buying anything this visit but I don't think I can be so strong again!! I did however buy a few camping items ready for our camping trip - I am super duper excited, just cant wait!

Home

Hello all, a mini update for you, I am home after a very difficult drive home, very wet, thunder and lightening and very bad visibility!! I had a super weekend and am missing yorkie already, I will speak to you all tomorrow, I'm off to my bed to sulk!

Well I started the 100 push up challenge last night- didn't go too badly, but my arms felt like jelly first thing this money - was a bit funny!!

As you can guess I am off to see Yorkie this weekend, I am driving from straight from work tomorrow 0 hopefully wont take much longer than 3 hours, can't wait. We are going to a BBQ on Saturday and not sure what we doing Sunday yet - possibly tent hunting!! I am going to get to see Roger again (our cat) Haven't seen him since we got him - I will have to do a Roger post for you when I am back - he is crazy!

Beautiful patterns!

I love patterns and cant resist a bargain!! these onderful owls are definately smile making, and they only cost £1 - really cant complain!!

My brand new cake tins as well - 3 tins in total, each one nestling in the other, I love the gingerbread men! Now all I have to do is make the cakes to go in them, however trying to loose weight, so healthy cakes it is - do they exsist?

This is also a new purchase - my new wallet, currently I have a really big, grown-up purse, but I couldnt resist this one. So it became mine and only £1 so it not really a bad thing, is it?

Finally by lovely cupcake bowl, I hate to say it but £1 again. I am sure you can imagine what my flat is like - filled to the brim, with bargains!! Just looking at them makes me smiley and happy!

Work today was not too bad, everyone was quiet and getting on with things but we did enjoy a few jokes, why do elephants paint their feet yellow? ....................... so they can hide upside down in custard!! Why do elephants paint their toenails red? ................................ so they can hide in a cherry tree - have you ever seen an elephant in a cherry tree? I guess you would say no, must work then!!

On that note I better leave I think!
