........ two birthdays of the year for November - Narelle & Carol - there are no birthdays in December :(

November Birthday Club details will be sent out in the next few days.

Our Birthday Club membership currently stands at 22, and apart from one minor hiccup in July, I think our Birthday Club is going well - I would love to hear from you if you have any suggestions for improvements.

Our Swap Club membership currently stands at 23 - with 10 new swappers join just this year :)

I really enjoy seeing all the lovely photos showing what has been sent and received and would like to thank those that take the time to send photos - it is greatly appreciated.

a further email with specific questions has been sent to you from the Swap Co-Ordinator on 8th August - as yet there has been no reply.
Several emails have been sent by your July swap partner on 30th June, 26th July, 5th August and 12th August - as yet there is no reply.
If no response is received by 30th August you will be permanently removed from the group.

EDITED:   Kylie Lawson has now been removed from this group.  The only response received has been an email on 24th August saying "Cathy Many Apologies I have been in bed for 3 weeks with Shingles and have had no internet and my phone died I will write more to you tomorrow as Its 4 am here at the moment Thanks Kylie"

2013 - A New Year - a Hello and a few Farewells

Happy New Year to you all!

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Claire to our swap group ;-)

and to say Farewell to SueB, JennyD & Raelene.

Since our formation in February 2011, we have had 25 people join in with our swaps. We will start 2013 with:

16 - Active swappers
1 - on leave

In April 2012, the Fat Quarter Swap Birthday Club was created.  As at January 2013 we have 15 people participating - imagine all those birthday goodies arriving during the month of your birthday  ;-)  Seeing all the wonderful Birthday FQs has been a genuine highlight for me.  

On a sad note, Since 2011, 6 have left the group, and even sadder, 

2 have been removed (failure to communicate with Swap Co-Ordinator and failure to swap)

Members are not removed or suspended on a whim, but failure to communicate and/or swap is simply NOT ACCEPTABLE. If you feel that it is OK not to communicate with your partner or the Swap Co-Ordinator, or it is OK to have one-sided swaps, then maybe this group is not the group for you.

I am looking forward to another year of swapping Fat Quarters and looking after this blog  - we have such a lovely bunch of people in this Swap Group and I am hoping we will grow in 2013!
