April Update

April was spent running (for me and a friend of our's), finally getting to play outside (for the boys), and weaning.

11 months!
We started the weaning process when he turned 11 months old.  He was not a big fan the first couple of months, but ultimately my persistence won out!!!

Loving the swings!
What boy doesn't love a good fort!
I ran 9 miles and lived to tell about it!
Finally getting the hang of the cup. It also helped that we were at the park once again.  He was distracted enough to not care he wasn't nursing!
Noah completed his Zumblaing class at the Y.  He loved getting the ribbon!

A week later, I ran 10 miles.  Training miles were starting to add up!
We took family pictures, so I had to make the boys ties!
One last long run before my race!
Little Luke has a new buddy named Mickey!
Noah started soccer.  He wasn't a fan playing in the rain, but loves it now.
We went down to Louisville to cheer on our good friend Jackie in her first ever marathon.  We were so proud of her!!!
Since we were down there we checked our the Louisville Zoo.  We had a blast!
Now I'm all caught up.  I'll put together a post about all the birthday celebrations next!

March Update

March was eventful month with lots going on.  Again, I'll let the pictures do the talking.

I made a hat for a charity event and I had a hard time parting with it.  He just looked so cute in it, too bad he won't keep them on anymore!
He figured out how to go up the stairs.  We put gates up the next night!
I thought this was a late snow, too bad we got more snow later in the month!
All dressed up for Toddler Prom!!
Will came over to Prom, they had a blast!
All the kiddos dressed in their best prom outfits.
He learned how to walk behind the Go Go Cart as we call it.  He was so thrilled!
Daddy's helper, silly boy!
Had to have green beer on St. Patrick's Day
Thanks to my Dad and brothers (Eric too!) we now have a butcher block counter top island.  I am so in love with it!!
Our little leprechauns!
I decorated for Spring....
And this happened...boo!
Noah and his friends had a blast.  They shoveled most of the driveway for me!!!
I made the boys matching Easter shirts.
This was the end of a run. The sunset made the run a little easier to handle.
Baby boy got his first haircut...I had a hard time parting with his baby hair, but he really did need it.
We had an egg hunt at Eric's parent's house.
Noah found all 80 eggs!
We had a great Easter!!
Wow, that's a lot of pictures!!  I'm getting so close to catching up. April was another busy month.

February Update

February was another cold month here so we spent a lot of time inside. Eric got to go snowmobiling one more time and the kids and I went to visit my parents and see my Dad play hockey. It was a good month, here are the highlights.

They love playing together, especially now that Luke is mobile.
Also, now that he is mobile, you will find him in all sorts of places.
He loves taking pictures, just like Daddy!
Poor baby, had to get his 9 month shots.  He handled them well though!
All the snowmobiles, ready to take off.
My dad playing hockey, Noah had a blast watching him!!
We had a mermaid on our hands one morning, silly boy!
Luke loved the walker.  He was able to get into a lot more  this way.
Two of my favorite Valentine's!
I ran in the cold some more...I was really hoping for an early spring!
We went to the boat show in town...Noah loved getting on all the boats!
I made matching hats for Eric and Noah. Noah loves to match his daddy!
We put a gate in between the play area and my craft area in the basement...Luke was not a fan!
We got matching sunglasses at the Dollar Spot at Target...again hoping for spring!
At the end of the month Noah started a new class at the YMCA, Zumbaling.

January Update

The sickness we had at Christmas seemed to linger for awhile around the house, so our January wasn't very eventful.  We did manage to have some fun and visit some family though.  Enjoy the pictures!

Someone was getting super close to crawling during his 8 month photo seesion
We tried to cheer the Colts all the way to the Super Bowl, but no luck!
Grandpa Farny having fun with both of the boys!
Fun in the snow
His first snowman!!
Showing off his new obsession, sticker books! (Not Star Wars, I'm hoping to have a few more years before that starts)

Matching boys!
I started training for the Mini Marathon....bright shoes!
A trip to the park on a really warm January day!
I had a helper the day we decided to paint our dinning room...more to come on that project!
And last but not least, by the middle of the month we had a mover on our hands.  It was an army crawl at best, but he was officially on the move!!
