I closed this blog to move on to Livejournal.. but i can't access it here.. So i'm updating my family and friends with this blog...

It's my 3rd day here in BeiJing.. I quite miss home..

Day1: Monday 8Oct07
Met at the airport at 6.30am. But I was abit late.. Then went to check in my luggage with Audrey!! I was the 2nd last to arrive!! Ahhh.. Then went to change in BITC T-shirt.. Took group photo and soon it was time to enter the customs. Drey hugged her mum and I almost cried. I'll definitely cry if I hugged my parents. So we waved and said goodbye..

Then walked around in the Duty-free area and then soon it was time to board.. I was abit scared when the plane tok off.. And we encountered some turbulences.. Or else, it was a nice flight..

IT was abit hectic at the luggage collection area, then we collected and went to tkae the bus to BITC. REached around 4plus pm... Then went to our rooms.. Quite dirty actually.. Coz vacant for 2months.. Then we tidied abit and had dinner then went opposite to the JinKeLong supermarket to buy some essentials.. Dettol, Vitagen, floor mat, biscuits, drinks, mineral water and stuff.. And spent 100.50RMB. about S$20... For quite alot of stuffs.. Then tidied the room and went to bed at 11plus..

Day2: Tuesday 9Oct
Today had breakfast at the canteen.. Porride and doughsticks.. Bland... Then had orientation tour and shopping at JinKeLong again.. Then had lunch and then had welcoming ceremony before we went back room to do housework.. It's qbit tiring actually.. Went on my knees to wipe the floor... I seldom do that at home one lor.. Tired.. Then went out for dinner at JinBaiWan Restaurant.. a not so authentic BeiJing Roast Duck.. So so la.. Then went back hostel to rest...

Day3: Wednesday 10Oct
Today had milo and biscuits for breakfast... Then reported for work.. There's nothing much for majority of the group to do cause teh Student Technical Officers(TOs) had to "up" the system.. Then we went around and went JinKeLong again.. Took too long out and got a scolding in the noon... Hmm.. My phone card no $$$$ le.. They never tell us 1minute 8RMB. Never tell us call the discount4RMB way. Then now have to top up. Anyway, at nite I wore my long johns, t0shirt and then my long sweater and gloves before we went out for dinner.. And it still feels cool when the breeze comes.. Thankfully never got chosen for Batch 4.. Winter super cannot take it.. Went to a noodle house.. Then came back and did housekeeping.. Now the rooms looks super neat.. Hahah.. Will upload photos 2mr.. Going to bed now..

HANDMADE N COSTUME JEWELLERY SALE!!

It's the holidays and I'm thinking to clear my stock ( I have made quite a fair bit of jewellery - handphone chains, earrings, bracelets and necklaces using Swarovski crystals, pearls and beads, as well as gotten some stock from coutnries like India, China, Korea and Thailand) , I thought that I'd post some pictures up to see if anyone is interested to buy them too.

One of my galfriends, Adeline, has started her own website to sell her handicrafts too.. She asked me to join her website, but I was busy at that time.. So have not committed to her site.. Oops!! So havn't had time to take all the pictures..

Currently what I'm posting is just some old pictures and some recent ones. Please take a look, they are not much, it's just that I'm requesting to take a booth at the National Library and they have requested some pictures, as such, I thought that I could also post some pictures on my blog as well.

I will be going to sell my crafts at MOE on Wednesday with my aunt, who sells clothes. I'm also taking a booth at the National Library to sell my stuff on 24th ,25th March if my application is approved. So if you like my creations, please support me then. Happy New Year!!! Ok. Long time no blog,.. But just felt that there's nothing much in my life now that needs updating.. I had thought my exam is 2 weeks after CNY.. But no!! It's the week following CNY!! And I borrowed 4 thrillers from the library!! N i'm glued to them like honey because the FBI thrillers are simply too exciting to let go!! From Bestselling author Catherine Coulter.. Borrowed 2 at first when I went to return the XML book I borrowed for project reference, then got hooked and decided to visit the library again after my haircut last week..

Only realised a few days ago, but I'm too hooked on the books to study! N all this visiting.. There's also no time to study as well.. But from tomorrow I'm gonna work hard. My SENGP exam is on tuesday and my MArketing Research is on Thursday!! Ooh dear oh dear!!


Oh ya.. Auntie Winnie's( our hairstylist) gonna give birth soon.. Her stomach's enormous! Hope she gives birth to a healthy baby boy!

Anyway, the first baby born this Chinese New Year is my 2 GuGu's colleague's baby!! Caleb Tan!! Hhaha.. So cute! Had a rather simple new year this year, I feel.. This coming Sunday would be 8th of the lunar month, and following traditions, the Hokkiens have to pray to the heavens.. It's a major festival.. And the past 2 days we have been unfolding the incense papers meant for the festival.. It felt heartwarming and fun as the family all sat down together.. Because Yeye passed away 3 years back, we did not have the festival for the past 3 years.. N now as we are all older, my youngest cousin is in Primary 2 now, we all help out and chat and watch TV and it feels really nice! I love these type of situations!

N on Sunday, we will stay up and burn the incense paper and pray and all!! But overall, this new year is still quite interesting.. Had quite a few funny and interesting stories.. But I shouldn't say them here..

And, me and Audrey has been confirmed to be in the the study period first, while Fengling does her TEP and Angel does her FYPJ.. So we won't be together.. I think that's quite sad.. but even more for Angel, since there's only her and William in FYPJ!! At least Fengling still has PingHui.. Both are girls, so not so bad.. And Kartika, Nadz and Mogana are in the same study period as us!!! If we do project together, WOWWOWOWOW!! Hahha.. Can aim for distinctions!! Hahahahhahahahaha!!
I'm going crazy but seriously, that's a happy thought!

Ok.. shall end for now.. Must get enough sleep.. Been sleeping very late these past few days, what with returning from Joo Chiat and bathing and packing and all.. All the heaty food and lack of sleep and water is getting to me!! I look terrible!! Hmm.. Sadddddd...

Yeah!! Finally's after the projects!! Rushed like crazy through 5 projects for the past 1 month. Everything is done last minute. Every semester I wish to change for the better to manage my time and work better, but somehow, things just go back the way it is. XML, ITIPJ big project, Marketing Research, International Business and Business Communication Projects.. Was going to faint if things continued the way it is.. To make things worse, the tutor gave us a scare and threatened to cut our marks... Simply wanted to throw in the towel..

Had no time for meeting friends and going out.. Just had to do projects all day.. Every day work on the computer for over 8 hours.. Haiz.. These few days stay up passt 1 am daily.. I wonder when i need to wear specs! Now that it's all over i'll go date everybody!! AHhaha. Exmas after new year.. So for now, I'm able to get a well-deserved break and stop thinking of anything else..

Sunday was X'mas eve.. Had bday celebration for my aunt cecilia who's bday is on X'mas.. HAhah.. Had steamboat dinner and cousins came over.. Was quite fun la.. Den i was sitting with my leg crossed on the sofa arm rest.. Mum asked me to bring a bottle to the kitchen.. Den i stood up but couldn't straighten my leg in time and crashed heavily down to the floor.. Super pain.. So lucky my face barely missed the computer table.. If not i would have split my face or died.. The edges were so hard...

Fell flat on my front.. my arms were red from the impact and My right hip hurt terribly.. Super pain.. Everyone was shocked .. Haha.. My brothers still say the ythought there was an earthquake!! But they were shocked la.. Cause my face was really super close to the table.. Thought i was going to hit.. My mum and popo were frightened out of their wits.. I slowly sat up n tears just flowed.. Cousins all stared at me.. Haiz..

So clumsy... Now nursing aching neck, shoulders and bruised hip and elbows.. N dunno where else still hurt.. What a x'mas present..

Came back from thailand to receive a shock about my project.. Haiz..

15th to 18th went to BangKok with my family.. Informed the tutors i would be absent on Friday.. they tot i wanted to ask for attendance.. hahah.. N was on the same flight as Janell!!! HAha.. Too bad din sit together.. Took Cathay pacific flight.. 1.50pm flight.. can see the take off from the TV screens.. so wasn't so afraid..

By the time we reached Thailand it was evening.. Napped on the bus ride from airport to the hotel.. Stayed in Grand Diamond Suite Hotel.. Super nice.. I like..

Saturday morning woke up early to go to the half day city tour.. Went to Chao Praya River and the temple near it.. and Honey Bee factory and Jewellery factory.. Den went to Four faced Buddha temple...

Went to Big C shopping centre for lunch.. and shopping.. den walked about 10minutes back to hotel.. Rested den went dinner...

Sunday went to Chinatown.. bought some accessories but den my brothers were so black faced i din dare to shop more.. The rest of the family oso din manage to buy much stuff.. Just see and go.. Haiz.. Guys..

Den after that went to Patunam ( a more average shopping area) and went to Platinum Mall (wholesale retail and accessries mall) to shop.. Bought some more accessories for my business.. but not enough to distribute to all.. at nite met Janell during dinner!!! Hahaha.. so coincidental!!

Monday flight at 12.45pm.. reached home around 3plus to a rain in Singapore.. Heard bits of the ITIPJ project woes.. Haiz.

Tuesday met the team.. found out something really bad.. shall not say it here.. Haiz.. Deadline for submission extended til friday.. Ms Lee was furious with the group that day since all was wrong.. Haiz..

N got some happy news and sad news from Janell.. I din know it's so obvious to the world that i still havnt let go.. Omg.. must resolve to change myself!!
