Week with the babies

So, I never got to post about having our little granddaughters here for a week.  What a week!  It was so much fun.  I love having them here.  I still find myself just going into mom mode, but I've decided that is okay because they are mine.  A generation down, but mine.  Here are some pics from our week.

It was so hard to say goodbye to them.  I think I could just have then here forever!  The first night they were gone, I woke up in a panic thinking I hadn't heard the baby yet.  Was she alright?  And then it dawned on me as I was throwing the covers off that - oh yeah, she wasn't here.  And then I was sad.  I love these little girls!!!!

This week we went to the property.  We had to walk 1.5 miles up to it and then back down again because the lock wasn't opening.  Jet walked the whole way.  I was so impresses.  It's a 1,000 foot climb.  Anyway, we had a fun fire and hot dog roast.  We even had to climb down in the dark.  It was an adventure!
