a wrap up for September

We have stairs going to nowhere!

Hailey got to have crazy socks and hat day.  She's wearing big fuzzy penguins socks.

We went and saw Tim and Faith with Matt and Jess

more walls, I just get so excited every time there's something new.

Last football game of the season.  It's been so fun watching Luke play.

Carly's birthday weekend

On Saturday, Carly got to go birthday shopping with Grandma Sharla and picked out a beautiful new coat.  Then they came and got Abigail and me and we went to women's conference.

I love that the girls love going to women's conference as much as I do.

Sunday morning, her actualy birthday, she chose to eat crepes for breakfast.

Sunday night we went to the Dawson's and had some homemade cheesecake for the final birthday celebration.

Football

We've loved watching Luke try something new this year.  I'm always amazed that he tries new things so readily with little to no fear.  He's been playing hard and loving football.  He's number 37 this year.

 We love this handsome boy!

an early bday celebration and more walls!

Grandma and Grandpa Jenkins were going to be gone on Carly's real birthday, so we had a celebration a little early.  Which was especially fun, because we're babysitting the Stringham kids while their parents are on vacation.  It was fun to have cousins with us.

 pizza party!

And soda!  The kids love occasions where they get soda.

 Her birthday dress

Carly doesn't like cake, she usually chooses cheesecake.

I've been wanting to see my kitchen sink window up.  I know I'll love watching my kids playing out in the back while I'm in the kitchen... probably doing dishes.

The house and some canning

They've started framing our house!  We've been so excited for this part, to watch it come together.

You can see our big garden behind the house, we got lots of good stuff this year!

Isaac made up his own game while the girls played barbies.  He called it doggie soccer.

My Mom and I kept so busy this fall with canning.  We made mustard pickles, chili sauce, spaghetti sauce, applesauce, apple pie filling, diced tomatoes, and tomato soup. It feels so nice to have so much done!

Some of our tomatoes didn't do so well, so when we ran out, we borrowed some from Scott and Becky.  The Young kids helped us pick and haul them back home.

Carly always wants Ike to sleep by her.  She loves how snuggly he is.

 We have a floor!

 We have walls!
