Yea for school! We love summer and then we are ready for school start up again. This year Brooklynn started third grade and her teacher is Miss Robinson. Dax is in first greade with Ms. DiRaimo. He is so excited to get to eat school lunch! Even Stratton is starting pre-school. I don't know who is more excited him or me! We love school and are so excited for another year.
Before Jodi get's a lawn put in she thought it would be fun to get the hose out and make some serious mud for the kids to play in. They loved it. How often to you get to play in mud like this.
Lisa came to town for a little while and we were finally able to meet up. We took the kids to Chuck-e-Cheese and had lunch and played. We had a great time and it was so fun to see her and spend sometime with her.
I grew up in the city so irrigating was foreign to me. I hear Phil's grandparents talk about it all the time but I had no idea what it was like. I decided I really wanted to see what they do when they irrigate so we took a trip up to join them for their day of irrigation. I was fascinated and we had a great time playing in the water with Granny and Gramps.
We spent another weekend at the ranch for the Bringhurst reunion. The kids had a great time playing games and running wild. There favorite part of the reunion is the good old fashioned foot races and yes they did not let us down. They all won their races for their age group. That is their dad's claim to fame. Dax had a great time this year because he got to go out and paintball with all the big guys. I thought for sure he would be in tears as soon as he got hit but he hung right in there with them and did awesome. I think this will be his new favorite part. It was a fun day.
