Pwetty please?

Gawds, I never knew that I would actually bother studying for an examination. But then this round I kept burying my nose into the Chinese Geography textbook. =o. Now that test is over, I'm worrying that I might not get an 'A' for that subject. Argh, this is ridiculous, life goes on anyway.

Now that test is over, I have been playing the game "Iji". Curiously interesting even though it was made with Gamemaker. =o. http://www.remar.se/daniel/iji.php <--- Link there, it will explain everything.

Anyway, got to go, playing games to relax. =D

Holy shit! THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!!

Another one of those "awesome" moments where some student in Junior One E breaks yet another thing, in the classroom that is. One more thing to add to the list that I'm making on the amount of things we break (and injuries we receive through one another).

*Cough cough* Anyway, we (or rather, Wen Kai) managed to break the LIGHT TUBE. Now we have damaged at least 15 things. The class that is anywhere near us (or so I think) has only broken 3 light tubes. Not 2 chairs, 2 tables, a hole in the wall, 2 door locks, 2 pails, 1 broom, many many stationery's, floor kena splattered with ink/liquid paper/water, 1 light tube, etc. etc.

So Wen Kai was 'nice' enough to take someone's stapler. And then the guy wanted it back. Wen Kai then started to be an idiot and threw the stapler. It soared over people's heads, it flew over tables, it landed.... No, not on the floor, not in the rubbish bin, not into someone's face, but into the light tube.

A loud silence for a few seconds, then some of us panicked and ran out of the classroom. T'was a bit messy at first, then who should come but the Chemistry teacher. After the cleaning up, Wen Kai said he will bring a light tube to fix it. And then the Chemistry teacher was saying: "Oh wait, tell the form teacher first, I'm afraid that the light tube might be illegal to be brought to school." And then the whole class started laughing.

Eh gawsh, not so early please.

Admittedly, waking up during the second day of the competition was somewhat difficult. We had to wake up somewhere between 5:30 a.m to 6:30 a.m. Partially because our competition starts early, and also because we are suppose to "eat together" with every other group.

After eating burgers and drinking Milo, we headed up to the table tennis room. AIR-CON. That must have been the only place with that technology (in that particular school, I mean). Speaking of which, I still have not described the school yet.

光華獨中 Otherwise known as Kwang Hua High School

"It looks beautiful on the outside, and admittedly it is also beautiful inside. But there's the lack of cooling technology, a.k.a the air conditioner. Except for the table tennis hall, which thankfully needed it, unless they wanted the players to die."

Anyway, a lot of the players were practicing, so there were 4 players per table, which meant that 20 players can practice at once. However, it was extremely cramped up. But, if you want to practice, then you did have to share.

And then the competition(s) began (It's the round-robin kind), all the participants had to stop practicing to 'make way' for the competitors. And then me and my friend got the news, "HEY! You two are playing doubles!" (Doubles as in the way of playing, not the toy fox I know Yuan Fang is taking about). Gawds, I don't even remember the BASICS for playing doubles.

So me and the other girl failed epically in the doubles, but thankfully the rest played properly, so it was still okay. The senior group played extremely well. I think I will try and leave the school team and join the athletics society instead. At least I can put running to use in the classroom. =D

Quite a few people were running in and out of the table tennis hall to watch the others place basketball and volleyball. The rest were probably screaming, shouting, cheering, crying or more likely, sleeping. Ah well.

我说坤成你说棒!!!

I have been missing for 5 days from the virtual world, I know. XP. I had to go for the 'Eight Independent Schools' Ball Games Competition'. Table tennis as always, I don't fit into anything else.

Anyway, we had to go for five days. And the amount of mosquitoes was somewhat 'terrifying'. I got eight bites on one leg, 4 on another, 5 on one hand, and 3 on the other. >.>. And then when we first cleaned the classroom we were staying in, a cockroach ran out. Everyone, save a few, was screaming and running out of the classroom. XD. One of the girl's tried to catch it with her hand. o.o. In the end a girl took a broomstick and bashed the roach out.

At night a lizard was hiding in one of the deputy president's (of the table tennis society) sleeping bag. Admittedly, it was amusing to watch them screaming and hugging at each other. Much to their disgust, I caught it and threw it out of the window. What's so wrong about lizards???

And then five minutes later a cricket jumped into the room. More "AHHH!!!!"s and "OH MY GOD!!"s. It was dealt with by the two same girls who dealt with the cockroach. And then, we finally could lay down and get some sleep.

We (Table tennis society) didn't have any competitions that day, so we just watched them playing basketball and volleyball. The badminton competitions were held somewhere else.
