5 Seconds of Pure Adrenaline

Interclass competitions are here again! How fun. P: Everyone's taking this chance to skip as many classes as possible. xD Hardihardihar. Anyway, I'm taking part in all the competitions, save badminton.

With two days already down, today being the third, time seems to pass rather fast. We've already (against all odds) won 2/3 of the table tennis, and the badminton team was crazy enough to win 3 out of all 3 rounds. Woot! Volleyball and basketball isn't completely over yet, so I won't post about those too fast. :P

So today the only competitions us girls had were badminton and basketball. Not forgetting that badminton and table tennis is now mixed, as in, boys and girls play on the same team. :O Which is the reason we're doing pretty well in those two, the boys keep covering for table tennis, and the girls cover for badminton. xD

Anyway, the basketball competition today was epic. We were going against K class, who lost to L class, like we did. I was reserve for a while and cheering with our class (and two other classes who were supporting us) until Dana got tired/injured. I'd learn my lesson the other round and just stuck to mugging people so they couldn't get the ball. In all, I think I only touched the ball like... what? 5 times? xD

One of the girls in my class got scolded for cursing when she missed while shooting during a foul. It was kind of funny really. She also threw the ball back at the referee when we were supposed to fight for it, resulting to yet another foul.

By the 13th minute, we were losing 5-7 (or 3-5). Naturally, we were panicking and trying to find a way to catch up, but for a while, no one scored. When Mushroom finally got the ball, the people were already counting down. As in, there was only FIVE flippin' minutes left. What the hell did they want us to do? A miracle?!

Undaunted, Mushroom turned and made for the hoop. With two seconds left, I think just about everyone doubted that she could do anything to change the scored. Stopping just behind the three point line, she shot. Loud silence. Everything seemed to go slow, and then zoom! The ball went clear through the hoop! The crowd started screaming like all hell broke loose, and the referee just stood staring with the whistle in her mouth. Honestly, I didn't hear the ending whistle. Who could have, with all that havoc going on.

Hey, Kitty here. Since I've finished my computer exam and the teacher says I can go online, I guess I'll finally give you all the update(s) I've been owing you all. Be warned, stupid girl here might make it retardedly long. Shuan probably wasn't lying when she said longwinded.

Anyways, what to start on first? Oh yeah, exams. It's right around the corner and I still haven't studied, even though I've been saying: "I'll study at six, I'll definitely study at six." Still, I must say, for the first time ever in my life, I got second in class, TWICE. Dun dun dun, the world's gonna explode. The closest I've ever gotten is... 5th? And that's like in kindergarten. I should be given cookies for my epic achievement! (P.S. Yuan Fang, you still owe me two scoops of ice cream)

I have also finally gone out without any relatives to Time Square. Along with Nini and Charmaine. It was after the exams, and my mum said okay. So, lunch was a barbeque pizza, while talking about "The German Chase". Which happens to be about a thumbsized dragon that finds the Marble of DOOM!. It was funny really. After that was Despicable Me in the cinemas. The whole place was crowded with KC High students. Hell, the whole queue was made of people we knew.

Another thing that may amaze you all is that I've been drawing... HUMANS. Oh Jaysus, now the world really is going to explode. What's more is that they actually look like humans, not matchstick figures. I am made of win(rar). :D

KCNewsmagazine did two issues this year, the second one being rushed, and made 100 pages long. All for the sake of being able to keep up with the Chinese Magazine. I had to do about the Wind Orchestra performance, and two articles (Transformice and Sight by Sound). The moment the Wind Orchestra students got their hands on the issue, I realized I made an embarrasing error. I messed up the name of one of the songs. So for the whole of that day, I had band members going: "OI! This is wrong, it should be this instead." Fer serius (For serious), I ain't no pro in Hokkien or whatever the hell that was written in.

I went to my mum's university friend's house recently. Haagendaz Belgium Chocolate Ice Cream Cake FTW! I got a sore throat after that though. xD Still, way worth the two servings.

Also, along with Le Ann (though she denied it while she was onboard) I went on a cruise (Superstar Virgo) to Phuket. 6 meals a day and eating like, 7 or so pieces of bread daily was nice. They also had a flight simulator onboard. And I wasted around 50 dollars playing that. On the second and last day, I also had Chocolate Mania at Swensen's Ice Cream. The chocolate ice cream was great.

After getting down from the ship, the only really eventful thing was going to Fullerton Hotel for Chocolate Buffet, which I'll probably do a different post on. Adieu!

Hilarity ensues - Transformice.

Why the hell do I keep talking about Transformice nowadays? Well, it's seriously a hilarious game. What with partners and Shamans, it kind of gets funny when the lemmings rush.

Of course, the main event tends to be the Anvil God, which I'm still trying to draw to make a fancomic. I can't really tell you the hilarity of it all, so here's a video by Kotaku instead:

After a thousand billion years...

I finally update. Shoopdawoop, about time I did. Apologies for neglecting my blog for so many months, but I seriously have no clue about what to update. But, if you all are interested in what I've been doing recently, I have some sculptures to show off. 8D

With the help of clay, and my dirty tools:

I did turn this:

To this:

Of course, you wouldn't consider it impressive with all those painted sculptures around. So, with the help of acrylic paint and some PVA glue, I turned it into this:

And that is my first clay sculpture ever. 8D It's supposed to be a Siberian Husky, with wings. xP I named it Kiki after Princess's white tiger.

After that, for a few months I didn't do anything else, just fooling around with my friends. And then I suddenly decided my athletic society friend Ting Ting could do with some cheering up. So with some wire and clay, I did my second clay project:

Which I must say, looks better than my first one. Unfortunately for Angelica. xD It's actually hollow inside, and I worry that the dorsal fin will break off. I made the silly mistake of not attaching a wire to that particular fin. Still, it looks cute. It also happens to be the first that I lacquered.

It wasn't long of a break before I had to make my sister's sculpture. xD It was supposed to be a chicken at first, but I ended up making a giraffe at her request.

There's no eyes because she wanted to stick on googly eyes herself when she got back to US. The tail and one of the antlers broke along the way, however. D; This is the only sculpture that uses felt so far.

I also made a birthday present for Steffi, which was supposed to be a Golden Retriever puppy. Unfortunately broken camera was broken, so I couldn't take any photos of what my mum calls "my best clay project". I also used embroidery for her name to make a scarf for the doggy. xD

And I suddenly find a need to post this song due to the FIFA World Cup. How boring of me. :P

Exams are over, like, a week ago. Oops.

EXAMS ARE OVER! Like... a week ago. Woopsies, I didn't update. >.> I know some of you want to kill me for not updating. Relax, I'll see what I can post. Some of you are asking me why I'm not posting as much as last year. Jr1E has a lot a lot a lot more things to post about. Jr2E has nothing, and I mean NOTHING to post about. Stupid retarded boring class. Someone have a time machine I can borrow?

On the side note, I'm pretty busy with writing for Lura/KC newsletter and a sculpture, so that might explain my recent lack of posts. I hope.

HOLD ON!

So, after 2 months of not updating (much to Yann Rann's unhappiness) I finally thought of updating. Aye aye.

I was late for the bus today, by about... 2~3 seconds? I saw it moving off when I was on the ramp. Instantly, oh shit! WAIT FOR ME! Kind of thought appeared in my head. Ended up running like an idiot, I did.

I probably chased it for around a hundred meters. It had to stop twice within the space of 10 meters, so I could pretty much catch up with it. But when I screamed for Uncle to stop, he didn't hear me. Due to really noisy gears and engine. I was thinking of stopping, until the form 1 girl's parents started screaming at him as well.

Luckily the bus stopped, so yeah, I got on the bus. I'm quite surprised that I could chase after it even with my sprained ankle.

Right... happy now?
