Wow-where did the time go.

Two plus months have come and gone since my last post. Many fun filled activities have taken place. We are still settling into our house and make improvements this winters project is our kitchen/living room. They are small rooms that we are turning into more function friendly rooms and each change Chad makes I love the space even more! The kids are growing and so much fun! We feel very blessed. This winter they are signed up for the public libraries winter reading program and it has been exceptional! The wrap up session is Thursday and I am sad to see it end. Also excited that my kids were excited about their books and we completed the 25 books per child family reader requirements and they will receive their shirts on Thursday! We are traveling home from Marysville after meeting our new nephew Carson. Everyone has adjusted well and mommy and daddy are doing great.
I gave myself a challenge to dive into my bible more this year. To reach out more, with this challenge, I had signed up last October to help our youth serve a meal and put on a program. This took place at Valentines time and was successful. It was great to work with the youth and get to know them more. Following the supper and other activities the youth had an ice skating get together in Manhattan. Weston and I joined them. I made a great example of how to fall and get back up literally. As I attempted to race Nate lets just say he is approximately 18 years younger than I! I caught my blade and went head first (like a perfect head first slide into second base) across the ice my shirt rolled up under my stomach and pants filled with ice shavings. I quickly jumped up and was laughing so hard I looked to see if Ric was taping and thank goodness she was not because I was sure it would make the church big scene otherwise! It was a very fun filled afternoon. I will leave you with a blessing to your day. And remember even when your down God will pick you up and Jesus loves you. God Bless Jericho

December 3.

Read -n- See DVD Bible of Weston's:

Matthew was a disciple of Jesus. He would write down what Jesus taught. Matthew writes, "Jesus said that there is a right way to pray and a wrong way. Jesus said when you pray, use this example:

The Lord's Prayer:

Our Father
which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth, an it is in heaven.

Give us this day
our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
forever.
Amen.

Matthew 6:9-13

May God Bless You.

I shall Return again today to post for for December 4. Jericho

Gabriel's Visit

But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zechariah: your prayer has been heard." Luke 1:13

Gabriel was sent by God to the city of Nazareth to visit a young woman named Mary. She was engaged to marry a carpenter named Joseph. But before their wedding day, Gabriel came to her and said, "Hello, favored one, the Lord is with you!" Mary had never heard such a greeting before and wondered, "What does it mean?" Gabriel spoke again. "Do not be afraid, Mary, for I have a message for you from the Lord. You are going to have a baby boy and you shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of God, and His Kingdom will have no end!" Mary was confused. "How can this be?" she asked. "I have no husband yet." Gabriel answered, "Nothing is impossible with God. Even Elizabeth, you relative, is going to have a baby, though she is very old. For nothing is impossible with God." I am the servant of the Lord," said Mary. "Let all that you have said be done in my life," And in an instant, the angel was gone.

December 1

The month of December I am trying to send Sydney a bible verse a day on facebook. Instead of just sending to her I decided to make it my post. I think of her often I think of reading my bible often so I thought this would be a good way to combine the two! So for December 1 I posted this message.

The Legend of the Candy Cane:

Look at the Candy Cane - what do you see? Stripes that are red like the blood shed for me. White is for my Savior who's sinless and pure! "J" is for Jesus, my Lord, that's for sure! Turn it around and a staff you will see- Jesus, my shepherd, was born for me. Author unknown.

John 3:16
For God so love the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

I hope your holiday season is centered on the birth of Jesus. That your life will be filled to the brim with hope, peace, comfort and love. We miss those that have gone before us and celebrate with those who are still here beside us.

Prayer: Lord you are an awesome God. Thank you for the blessing's you lay in front of us each day. It's in you that we find our strength and comfort. Please revive our lives as we prepare to celebrate the birth of your son Jesus. In your name we pray, amen.

Jericho - God Bless.
