And Relax....

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Nearly the weekend at last....and I have a week off work next week to boot which is even better!

I have lots of plans and lots to do and I just hope the sun keeps shining....

Today I have another card to share...

This is the card I made for my dad for Father's Day.

I've kept this card fairly simple again given that I have been making quite a few fussy vintage cards lately.

The image is of course from one of the Lili Of The Valley art pads and is just perfect as on Saturday dad will be very busy at the church 'Summer Fete' so he should be able to relax a little on Sunday....

The papers and the sentiment are also from Lili Of The Valley. I have combined the papers with some Kraft and finished off by adding my favourite embellishment....pearls from The Hobby House.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and lovely, encouraging comments.

Have a lovely day.

Vintage Rose

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

It's early yet but it looks as though it's going to be a beautiful warm and sunny day here.

I have another vintage style card to share today....I love making these cards, they just seem to evolve but I do have to stop myself from adding too many embellishments....although I think I may have gone a little overboard with the flowers on this one.

The image is from Pion and the papers are Hanoverian Linen from V&A. These papers are so pretty and I'm almost at the end of the paper pad so I'm trying to hang onto as many scraps as possible....I may just end up having a go at a patch work style card just to use up the off cuts as I can't bear to throw out the scraps.

The roses, pearl swirls, pearl flowers, decorative pins and self adhesive pearls are all from The Hobby House. The sentiment is from Lili Of The Valley.

Vroom Vroom...

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I have just got time to share the Father's Day card that I have made for my partner's dad.

This is a very simple easel card and I used this fabulous pre coloured image from one of the Lili Of The Valley art pads...they are perfect for a quick card and my papers and sentiment are also from LOTV. I used my favourite nestie die to mount my image and finished off by adding my usual pearls from The Hobby House.

And there you go...job done!

Lace And Pearls

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well.

We started out with beautiful sunshine this morning but it very quickly deteriorated into thundery, wet downpours so it was off to the craft room for me today and this is what I have made.

This is a new style of card that I have been having a play with for a month or so and I'm really enjoying the finished results....not always as I envisaged my card at the start but I'm pleased with the end product.

The papers are V&A ~ Hanoverian Linen, they are such pretty papers and so lovely to work with. The image is from Pion and the roses, pearls, pearl strings and lace are all from The Hobby House. All the other items used are things I've found lurking away in my stash....amazing what you find when you tidy up!

OMG....

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

It's a bit damp and drizzly here this morning but I'm hoping it will brighten up later...

Today I have another card to share....

Don't stop me now...I think I'm on a roll!

I'm sorry these photos aren't very good....I'm really having trouble getting  a decent picture on a sunny day.

I decided to make an easel card for a change and I used this great Kenny K Topper ~ OMG from The Hobby House. The papers are from my stash and I used a large Nestability die to mount the image....I just love the fabulous fancy shapes you get with these dies. The ribbon, pearl slider and pearl medallions (flower centres) were also from The Hobby House. The flowers have been sat around looking pretty in their little glass bottles on my shelf in the craft room for years....so I thought it was time they saw the light of day.....I think they are from Prima. I finished off by adding a stamped sentiment from LOTV and some liquid pearls to the topper.

And there you go.....job done!!!

Lavender And Lace

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

Before I head off to work I have just got time to post a card I made for a friend of my mum, who's birthday it is next week.

Where did the weekend go!!!...

The image is from Pion....I love these vintage images, they are so pretty and make lovely cards if teamed up with lace and pearls as
I have done here. The papers are from my stash and they are a slightly darker shade of lavender than they appear in this photograph but I took the photo when the sun was shining.....yes you heard me right.....'The Sun Was Shining'!.....

The lace, pearl string and self adhesive pearls are from The Hobby House and the fancy brads and spacers were Docraft...I think, I've had them for years and they were just right for this card. The stamped sentiment is from Lili Of The Valley.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:~
