My Five Favourite Christmas Creations Of 2013!!!

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well today.

We've been blowing off the cobwebs this morning and have just got back from a lovely walk with the dogs around our local park. It's cold and frosty but the sunshine was beautiful and we had a cup of hot chocolate from the little cafe to warm us up while watching the ducks on the pond.

The very talented Debby is hosting her fabulous 'My Favourite Five Christmas Creations' again this year and as I joined in last year I thought I would join in again this time around.

It took me ages to pick these but here they are (you can click on the title to take you to the original post).

Dashing Through The Snow

Well that's it......I think.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate all your support and encouraging comments.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Take care and keep warm.

Just For You!!!!

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well and having a wonderful Christmas.

I have to say that I have been thoroughly spoilt in every way and have received the most fabulous presents amongst which were..........

A fantastic Dylusions Alphabet Set from my daughter Brogan which had been on my wish list for absolutely ages and the complete set of Pan Pastels and accessories from my partner Gareth.....now how lucky am I!!!!!!

Today I have a final Christmas card to share.

This is the card that I made for my partner.

It has become a bit of a tradition at Christmas to make my partner a card with Edwin on as we think he looks like this cheeky little character..........

I coloured this cute image with Distress Ink Markers and used papers and Kraft card-stock from my stash. I added lots of Stickles and pearls and various die~cuts to complete this card.

Thank you for taking the time to drop by.

Enjoy the rest of your day and keep warm.

Apologies And A Card

Good evening everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I would just like to apologise for being absent for so long and not visiting and commenting on your blogs recently.

Apart from the usual Christmas preparations and work being so busy, I have been having problems again with my neck which has given me a constant headache for weeks on end, for which I am now having physio and my hands, fingers and wrists have been so painful which has stopped me from blogging and card making......I have now had steroid injections to the wrists and I hope things will now improve so I will be able to get back to normal..........or whatever normal is!!!!!

I have managed to make a couple of cards although I did colour these images in the summer.

I made this card for my daughter Brogan. The papers are from my stash and I have coloured the image with Distress Ink Pens. I added lots of Stickles and Liquid Pearls and finished off with pearls from The Hobby House and a computer generated sentiment. The ribbon was in the bottom of my ribbon basket and matched the papers perfectly. Brogan loved the card and purple was always her favourite colour when she was a little girl.............everything had to be 'Purple mummy'!!!

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate all your comments.

I hope to catch up with you all over Christmas.

In The Pink

Good morning everyone.

I hope you are all well.

It was my birthday yesterday (yes another year older) and I spent a lovely day with my mum and three other wonderful friends at the Knitting & Stitching Fair in Harrogate.....Thank you ladies I had a wonderful day!!!!

I think we've been going to this show since it started.....

And here is the cake that my daughter Brogan made for me...

It tastes fabulous.....Mary Berry would be proud!!!!

Please pop over to Brogan's baking blog where she explains how she made it and to take part in her cake flavour survey......

The Happy Little Cupcake

I also have a card to share today...

I made this card for a friend who has recently retired.

I tried to keep this card relatively clean and simple as I think these beautiful Art Pad images from Lili Of The Valley don't need much help in the way of embellishment as they are stunning in themselves. I did use my very favourite papers from Craft Creations Ltd and of course....as ever pearls from The Hobby House. I finished off by adding some Liquid Pearls and a sentiment also from LOTV.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

I really do appreciate your visits and your lovely comments.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Bringing Gifts

Hi everyone.

I hope you are all well today.

I can't believe how cold it has been here.....very frosty first thing but gorgeous sunshine, so Brogan and I decided to have a drive through the Lincolnshire Wolds to a large garden centre. It was such a glorious morning and the scenery and colours were amazing.

We had a lovely time, lots of Christmas shopping and lunch to finish off....then a leisurely drive home.

Anyway on with a card I have to share.

This is another card to add to my growing list of finished Christmas cards. I think I am almost there now.....maybe one or two more.

The pre~coloured image is from Lili Of The Valley as are the papers. I used Kraft cardstock to mount the papers and added a die cut poinsettia which came from a pack of die cuts that I've had for ages from Craftwork Cards. The pearls, lace and the poinsettia centre are from The Hobby House. I finished my card by adding lots of Stickles and I will add a sentiment later.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:~

Bearly~Mine Challenges ~ # 113 Traditional Colours (Red & Green) Using Die~Cuts
Ladybug Crafts ~ Use Kraft Cardstock
Creatalicious Challenges ~ # 57 ~ Christmas Time

Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

Hopefully I will have another card to share tomorrow.

Just Relax

Good afternoon everyone.

I hope you are all well.

I am hoping to catch up with you all this week as my blogging and commenting has been seriously lacking of late......I seem to be so busy and haven't time for anything at the moment.

I have a week off work though so am hoping for some crafting time and to try and get all those extra jobs done in the house that I always think need to be done for Christmas......as if anyone else would notice other than me of course!!!!!!

Anyway I have a card to share.....

I made this card for my partner's dad who's birthday it was last week.

The papers and the image are all from Lili of the Valley. I mounted the papers on black card as I thought this went quite well together. The pearls are from The Hobby House and the sentiment is computer generated. The clouds are die cuts which I finished by edging with some grey chalks to add a bit of depth.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:~

Totally Gorjuss ~ # 210 ~ 3 Patterned Papers
