This is a recipe our neighbor gave us. We've made it a few times already and wanted to pass on the yumminess. Ok, so this isn't the best chocolate cake I've ever tasted, but it takes a total of FIVE minutes to make and cook. That's what makes this recipe a gem.
Chocolate Mug Cake
1 large coffee mug
4T flour
4T sugar
2T baking cocoa
1 egg
3T milk
3T oil
3T chocolate chips
splash of vanilla
Add dry ingredients to mug. Mix well. Add egg, mix well. Add milk and oil, mix well. Add vanilla and chips--mix. Put mug in microwave (1000 watts). Cook for 3 minutes. Tip out and eat.
We noticed that when watching it in the microwave, it looks at times like the batter will spill over, but it never has. Approx. 2 servings.
