My Dear Friend Sherry
Let me explain the last post tenderly put there by sherry. While she was in town we made a deal that we would post something on our blogs at least every other day from that day until the end of the year. But if one of us missed a day then the other one would have free reign to post anything on the other's blog. We exchanged passwords and I LOST already. How did that happen? So that lovely picture is what she posted. I am actually grateful to her for that because she could have pulled out anything. Oh man! Does this mean the deal is off? Does this mean I can post anything about her now on my blog?! I'll have to discuss the terms with her but while I'm on the computer I'll give a little update.
McKay's 2nd Birthday is in 2 weeks. I cannot believe that we are going to have a 2 year old. It's killing me how cute he is becoming and how strong willed he is. Where has the time gone?
We are subletting our apt for Thanksgiving. The family gets here Wednesday evening and we still don't know where we are going to spend the holiday. Any suggestions (cheap ones are preferred!)?
Possibilities
1- We wanted to take advantage of the last time we can fly without paying for McKay and mossy on over to see my brother in Guam on buddy passes but it looks like we'd be in route for 32 hrs on the way there, spend 2 quick days with them and fly home for another 20 hrs or so.
2- Go to DC and stay with some great friends.
3- Have a sleep over at Talmadges house now that Mr.London is out of town.
4- Stay here with our new friends the subletters!
We want to do something relaxing though because I struck luck with an awful never ending cough that I can't get rid of. I have coughed so hard that I managed to crack a couple ribs or have pleurisy. Whatever it is I have a new found sympathy for anyone with hurt ribs. McKay started coughing yesterday. I sure hope he doesn't get what I have. Noah had his turn a few weeks ago so he may be off the hook. There seems to be a nasty bug making its rounds over here.
We better rest up now if we expect to get healthy. We've got lots to do this week to prepare for the temporary tenants and to enjoy Thanksgiving!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all!

McKay
We are going through a little transition phase with mckay right now! After teasing us for 22 months he now thinks that he doesn't like to sleep. And we all know when baby adjusts parents do too. He goes down near 11pm gets up at 6am!! What happened to his 12 hours of sleep? I took a classic picture of him falling asleep on the floor after climbing out of the crib a number of times but tonight he is sleeping with my computer with hopes that listening to music might help him sleep better. So when I can get the computer and find a moment, I'll post the picture along with some new mckayisms. We love him more than ever though. Good night for now....signing off at 12:13am!

Happy Birthday NOAH!
Man-0-man I love this guy! I am going to say it. I think I am THE LUCKIEST girl on the planet to be married to Noah. He is an absolute gem. I won't get to sappy on the blog but I am so grateful for him and our little stinker McKay. McKay is really into tracing his hands, feet, and body so we made a life size card for him to decorate. He looks like a tough guy showing off his Daddy. Noah looks SUPER excited to be in the picture! His birthday was Friday and we celebrated it by freezing together under a tent in Connecticut. He has a birthday tradition of going bowling for his birthday but he really wanted to go camping this year so I got his brother Talmadge involved and he basically set it all up. The weather was supposed to be in the 30s but thankfully it got up in the 40s (although it felt like 20 to me...BRRRR). McKay was home in a nice warm bed with some friends.
We got carried away making smores around the fire and talking all night that I completely spaced taking any pictures other than these. I'm kinda bummed but it was a fun night.

Halloween part two
I love New York City. We took McKay trick or treating here for the first time here (because we were in Boston last year). Instead of going from house to house we went from store to store, restaurants and all, and they were ready for us! I couldn't believe it. We went around for a little while with the tough police man (our building Superintendent's son), the darling hula girl (The Sine's little girl), and our own super cute Thomas the train.
This is our stop at Subway! McKay didn't know what was going on at first but boy did he catch on quickly when he realized all he had to do was walk up to people with his bag open and they gave him candy! It was so cute to see him so excited to wear that costume and to watch all the people dressed up.
Since the police man, Thomas, and the hula girl are the only kids in the building we decided to reverse trick or treat to get to know our other neighbors better. This is McKay making his first delivery. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed visiting the neighbors; including an interesting old man downstairs who came to the door with no pants on. YIKES!

Halloween: Part One
When Saren and Jared were in town McKay got to meet the Blue Men for the first time. They were a hit so we decided to dress up as a family this year as none other than...
McKay loved getting painted blue but I think we scared the two cute girls we were babysitting. It's NOAH'S BIRTHDAY TODAY!! so I've been working on that but I PROMISE I will follow Saydi's example and get everything caught up...um... next week. We have had lots of visitors and get to have another group stop in tomorrow until Tuesday night so check back maybe Thursday and I'll have Halloween: Part Two up (Starring Thomas the train with a little less makeup) and the rest of Sept-Oct!
