heres a picture from my visit to chicago last year...

to most people my age, the 90s was glorious. looking back, it looks like it could have been the same for me. but it wasnt. our country was going through a monetary crisis. my mom lost her job. there was riot everywhere, and the major turmoil happened on my birthday. i remember staying at home, sitting in front of the tv with my crayons and used up paper, drawing weird figures smothered with green blood.
i also remembered when my mom cried on my fat little shoulders in front of our computer. i can almost remember the blank green screen behind me.
it's strange that i remembered all this.
oh how i wish i could relive the 90s as a mancunian.......
