We have had a great month so far! I am happy to report that I quit my job at Primary Children's as a nurse in the NICU! I am excited to be home and to function at a normal capacity. I can already feel a huge difference in my motivation, energy, and overall well-being. I plan on keeping up my license and going back to work someday. But until then, I will enjoy this absolute freedom of not worrying about scheduling, working holidays or graveyards!

So, isn't this picture just adorable? Steph took it when we were having a swim day with them. Taylor is at a fun age - she has enjoyed going swimming a little bit this summer. She is a good little kicker and has even gone down the waterslide with me at Murray Pool!

Taylor and cousie Noah out for a swim day at Steph and Clair's house! These two get to see each other often which is so fun for us to watch them grow up together! Noah's little personality is really taking off - he's almost 4 months old! It won't be long before they are running around together!
"What mommy? I'm not doing anything!" Here I turn my back on Taylor for one second and she finds the one dangerous thing to play with in the room.....another baby! I guess Elise's (Cortney Smith's baby) cheeks were just too unbearably cute that she had to pinch them!

My two favorite people in the whole world! Aren't they cute?!

Once again, the Ernest circus. Aunt Jan looks a little shocked! Taylor knows to put her arms out for better balance. The pair are quite an act and can do this for half a minute or so. I'm not sure how much longer daddy can keep up with it though - Taylor is around 17 lbs now at 7 months old!

Where this little lip came from, I'm not sure. She is making a new face just about daily. This is her current face when she's eating baby food. I promise she likes it!

Here is our first little garden. We have mostly the basics: tomatoes, corn, lots of squash, radishes, pumpkin, carrots, and peppers. We just harvested our first yellow squash and zuccini. Our radishes have been done for a few weeks but they didn't turn out so great. Gardening has been a fun project for me this summer and I am already planning what I'll do different next year!

Taylor has really shown an interest in our food and drinks. She won't drink out of a sippy - she only wants our big cups. I have started letting her nibble or suck on some finger foods, like this biscuit. Baby carrots keep her occupied as well while we're eating our dinner.

This is another new trick. Taylor likes to cock her head to one side. I can't figure out why, but it is really funny to be talking or playing with her and then she just cocks her head for a minute. She has been such a fun baby!
