Easter Weekend

We spent Easter weekend at the McMillans (Levi's sister) in Chubbuck, Idaho. It was great to spend time with Jay, Alisha and their 3 busy kids (Lauren, Cooper, and Maddie). Thanks for your great hospitality! Amy really wanted to go on a small little trip before she starts back to work the first week of April at Primary Children's NICU. Hopefully we will have many more vacations ahead of us!

Just like her Daddy

Taylor just over 2 months old. She is good at making funny faces like her daddy! This was her first Sunday in a pretty dress (besides her blessing day). Isn't she darling? She has very strong legs and loves to stand and push on things. This is one of our favorite recent pictures - although it's hard to choose when we already have hundreds!

Welcome Taylor Jane Ernest!

So, here we are finally entering the blogging community! We will briefly bring everyone up to speed of what's been happening the last few months! Taylor Jane Ernest arrived December 26th, 2007! She was 6 lbs 11 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long! After staying for 2 days at Alta View Hospital, we brought her home and have been watching her grow and develop ever since! Some of her favorite things: she loves watching her mobile go round and round, she loves lying on her changing pad but doesn't exactly enjoy being changed, and she loves lying in her johnny jump up thing "taco style" as it quickly puts her to sleep. She is smiling so much and is most happy in the mornings. We got these pictures taken through our friends Jamie and Matt Broderick out in Tooele at her studio. Taylor was about 9 days old, what a precious keepsake these pictures are too us! We never get sick of talking about how precious, cute, perfect, and fun she is! She has overall been very healthy with a few minor stuffy noses, and a case of pinkeye (in both eyes) for a few days. Levi is definitely a natural with her and changes diapers just as frequently as Amy when he is home! She loves her daddy - if she is getting fussy and tired all he needs to do is bounce her in his arms and she falls asleep! She has been sleeping pretty good at night - gets up once or twice and sometimes sleeps a 7 - 9 hour stretch - we love those! Our black labrador, Avery, is a little jealous but overall he ignores her. Avery, just wait until she really notices you! We hope this small update gives you a small window into our happy lives!
