Just went to Redang with wife and 2 other friends. 3 of us (except my wife) were there doing Rescue Diver course. We had been hearing quite a number of unfortunate news regarding diving accidents, some even could not be saved. Because of this, it prompted me to take up the Rescue Diver and EFR certification. Accidents do happen when scuba diving. I want to equip myself with the necessary knowledge and skills, so that when something unfortunate happen, at the least I have the skills learnt to either self rescue or be able to rescue others. I must say that the course was tough and we were pretty exhausted at the end of each day. Well, we survived the course, even though not perfect, we managed to complete the course with good comments from the instructor.
Beside all the hard work and getting ourselves tired doing the course, we had some serious fun. I have improved on my underwater photography skills this time around. And managed to capture many nudibranch during this trip. Photos below:
