Reminiscing 2005

Jan-May

My 5 crucial months where I took the risk for not listening to my lecturer and ended up having a hard time from him. And what happened to the final ending of the event that I was looking forward to? I ruined the show. I tell you..it was super embarrassing and you won't believe I actually did that. For those who knew about it can't stop laughing especially when they watch the video. And yup it was caught on VIDEOCAM!!!!

During this period I've also learnt to be more flexible in my work and not to follow my own way too much as I may not be right at all times.

And yeah meeting a 'gorgeous' hunk from Manhunt "Jon Johnson" though I'm not really a big fan of him...took pic with him jus to make gals out der jealous..Lol kidding. He's not bad though but just not my taste..hahahaha

Had my photoshoot of my design and our group pic for the 1st time. Cost us a bomb on this project. Cool pic that I framed it up on my room wall.

My birthday falls on Friday the 13th...need to say more? but I don't believe in those things lah...very bz during that time cos it was days before the fashion show.

June-August

I still remember this day 13 June 2005. The day when I picked up the phone only to know that something happened to my dad and watched him helplessly in ICU for days. From this experience I learnt that unexpected things can happen to anybody. I mean my dad's a health freak and seldom fall sick, didn't smoke and jogs every week. He was on medical leave for 3 mths after the operation and spent the times wif him...that was when I started to feel that I have a father..haha really...cos my dad is always the bz sort of person who always come back hm late at nite from work and seldom get to talk ot meet him although we stayed under 1 roof!!!Imagine that for 20 years of my life...Thank goodness that 3mths did really make up that 2 decades. And he attended my graduation ceremony though he wasn't fully recovered. There's nothing I could ask for from him at the moment. I was truly Happy!!!

From this experience I also learnt to cherish the people I love. Hmm not really actually...~thinking~

I never really like babies or kids until Kaysan was born. This boy is so special and the moment I saw him I fall for him!!! Cos he's my nephew duh!!! With his 'angmoh' looks (though he has perhaps less than 20% 'angmoh' blood & 80% asian blooded)he will sure grow up to be a handsome boy..hehe ;)

August-Nov

During these 3 mths I learnt alot about things people's real life. Too much to write on this blog...haha and how I managed to change my mind set about some certain things about life. Since it's only a brief so I'm not going to elaborate.Hehe

Oct- present

Finally got a full time job as management trainee. Training for 6mths to a yr. Tough initially but used to it alrdy. Now posted to Isetan Scotts and did better than at Zadi. Will continue to strive harder and earn big bucks!!! hahaThink I'll be on training for 1 yr...since I can say I'm pretty slow at some certain areas in my work...LOL

That's the end of my brief reminiscing of the year 2005. Nothing really special but more happening den 2004 though.

Hoping that 2006 will be a better year and be happier than before and...Je souhaite être bel intérieur dehors. Peut-il I ? LOL I'll try..hehe ;p

Long days at work...

Today worked for 15 hrs cos there was a private sales at Isetan Scotts

Hit target 3 times the origional target..~phew~ Hit $50k liao...~claps hands~ that department 'belongs' to me & Izah liao!!!!!!Yeah...

Super tired but will get my beauty sleep soon...

Saw Aishah Ngek Ngok at the interchange. I didnt really get to chat long cos I cud barely open my mouth and talk!!! I talked too much just now at work...

Dad gave vouchers from CK Tang..can buy some cosmetics der...LOL

He also got an award for long service of 35 years...dats my Daddy ;) Won many awards before this...which actually inspires me to work harder in future...;P

My off day finally..meeting my cuz to settle some stuffs

I still wana watch that Swiss Circus show but can't find a day to watch..last day on the 1 Jan..hmm

Tuesday

My off day. I went to Chong Pang to get a fish and ended up buying 10 colourful fishes as well as the tank & accessories.Bought some decorative stuffs for my rooms too.

Wednesday

Back to work and so far throughout the week work was ok. Perform better since I'm in the afternoon shift..hehe

Thursday

At work Linda and Mr Tiong came to see my performance. He talked to me. I was kinda scared..haha but Linda told me that if he talks to some1 which means that particular person hav left him a deep impression..hmm ok..maybe because of the visual display I guess..lol

Friday

Morning shift till next Wednesday.Then last min family plans. Watched King Kong at Lido wif sis, bro, uncle and his wife and his fren. I still remember his fren vividly..When I was little I used to f'lirt' wif him alot!!! Cant blame me cos I was only 5 yrs old den.LOL Then went to Devils bar till morning. Thank goodness I work afternoon shift dat day..Phew!!! But cud see my puffy eyes, tired face and having a bad sore throat though...

Saturday

Eve of Christmas. Town was fully packed with people and got hm nearly 1 am when I need to work early in the morning the next day..am I complaining?Hmm haha

Sunday

Yup I still need to work and body was aching and sore throat getting worse..

Monday

I cant stand already..but cud only release half an hour earlier..haiz at least something rite? Now still not feeling good. Taken medicine already. Hope I'll get better tommorow as Wednesday it's going to be a long day. I also managed to chat with my mom about my passe 'situation' cos she saw the pic in my laptop & a 'cute' guy on my wallpaper.Haha my mom also asked me why I made that decision?I don't know...if only I cud really turn back time...and my mom still got the cheek to say the word 'selenge'!!!!Alamak!!! or maybe my taste really that bad?~wondering~

To sleep or do my report? 5 reports pending!!!!lol

And 5 days to new year...dats pretty fast!!!

It's Tuesday!!! hehe

What's so great about Tuesday? It's my off day duh!!! I'm going out to settle my room stuffs and yeah to get a new fish!!! My maid opened the lid of the tank and my fish jumped out and die...maybe I shud try another species...haha

I think this week I really have enough of my sleeping beauty. Oh ya I was posted to Scotts and things are going smooth there. Get compliments from manager for doing well..hehe ya lah it' s all about the 4Ps: if you peeps hav studied marketing management. Things are so much different compared to Katong and Zadi.

1 off day like it's not enough lah but what to do? it's the $$$ i'm earning that counts? I don't know but for the next few mths...not gg to spend on uneccessary things like I used to. muz learnt to save $$$ and yeah save for my trip to Japan cos people there are waiting for me for so long already..hehe but ended up diffrent people going there instead.LOL

And counting down to 2006: 12 days to go..2005 flies so fast. This year things happened like a long dream. I also realised major things that happened for the same reason. Dun believe? I'll elaborate if I have the time. Too many things happened and definitely more happening than 2004 :)

Was I really Dreaming?

When I woke up in the morning my mind seemed to be blank..very blank..cudn't remember anything...it was as though I just woke up from a long dream..was I really dreaming? ~slaps face~ Initially I thought so..but looking back it's not a dream...what am I talking about? Oh well nvm...

Last resort: If still no reply, there are 2 possibilities. Either he maybe disappointed or angry with me or he can't fulfilled my big favour I asked from him...at least I tried..

Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.

I need rest...finally!~Phew~

Finally I got my off day which falls on Tuesday. For the next 2 months I won't be getting my off on weekends already.

So far things went ok for me at Katong. But I just don't like the people there.They are not being 'professionals'. Now I know why Linda told me not to mix around with them. Hope I can get thru dis assignment asap...over at Katong I was given a diffrent position by the other company but I still do what I was told by Linda. I may do an unglamourous job there but hey it's kinda cool to be the 'spy' for the next 2 mths..every night always have lots of things to write in my daily reports!!lol

Let me tell you what had happened for the last few days.

Tuesday

I was supposed to watch Oi Sleeping beauty with Ain at 7.30pm but Emily came over at Zadi to chose some ties for Isetan Scotts. So she dragged the time. Made Ain wait and ended up not going. So the 3 of us(my aunt, her mom) went to have dinner at Arab St instead.

Wednesday

I was told by Rachel that I was posted to another place. I'm not happy that time cos I knew that all my schedules i've planned have to cancelled.At the same time got my pay but unfortunately they wrote my name wrongly!!!haiz..

Thursday

My 1st day at Katong. It's at Marine Parade but ended up at Eunos...haha it's somewer there actually but thankfully I have a straight bus to and fro but the journey was damn freaking long!!!!I didn't like the place at all cos it's very ulu and I was kind of angry with Linda for posting me there. So bad pf me to be angry with my manager but we had a talk somehow. She said that she gave me this assignment as she thought that I have the potential. whahaha..more like a sales assistant leh!!! but later she told me that I wrote in my report that I wanted more challenging task so this is the 1 lor..haha so bottomline I asked for it.Over there I was posted a different position in that company but I still need to do what I am told by Linda asked me to do by doing observations, research and as usual daily reports about anything: may it be the staffs or anything that happen there. I have many things to write esp their staffs!!!They don't seem to be serious in their work. No wonder customers always complain..hahahah

After work I met An-Nur at Causeway Pt..the last time I met him was 1 1/2 yrs ago!!!1st person to reunite with YSS ppl.So we chatted for a while to kill my boredom and update about ourselves.Felt better after confining to him..thanks ya ;)

Friday

I had to work full shift for 12 hrs!!!Oh man back hurts but Katong seemed to be a quiet place compared to Scotts...wrong 1 damn long report of my observation for 12 hrs of work..damn!!!Wonder if Linda actually read it...lol

Saturday

Worked afternoon shift. So woke up slightly later than the usual time. Had a talk with bro about stuffs and our future in 5 years time...haha we made plans already haha but Tuhan yang menentukanya kan?

Sunday

Worked morning shift. So didn't get to go to my cuz wedding and missing a 'fantastic' show there. I missed that. You know that 'psycho lady'. Didn't know my parents were so good in acting man!!! 2 thumbs up!!!;)

Monday

Last min change of plan that I need to work full shift. I can understand that cos it will be fair to Grace too as she has 2 full shift while I have 1 on Fri cos every Mon and Fri I'll be working 12 hrs a day...

Tuesday???

My off day duh!!!! Made plans with some1 already and gg to catch up with my beauty slp. Still broke cos Linda 4got to pass me the cheque!!!! This time I owed every1 at home $$$ and yup dats includes my maid!!! yeah her!!!!:p

First phase of working life is always the hardest???

Many things happened this week..and all didn't really go my way. It's very annoying u know!!!! I wonder how long I can tahan this 'assignment'. I don't like the surroundings and the people there!! But Linda(my manager) told me to 'stay away' from them...initially I was angry with them for posting me to another place and it was so far away at Eunos...till 15 Feb 2006...ard 10 weeks leh!! Aiyoh...Hope time will fly very fast. Just wana go thru dis quickly and pass my training and go to my next stage of my working life...but somehow Linda told me dat I'm fortunate to be shortlisted to do this trial...hahaha ok watever but she's very encouraging though. Always msg or call me and said "jiayou"...

My pay was delayed over stupid mistake of spelling my name wrongly on my cheque!!!Is my name so difficult to spell? Aiyoh!!!

Tired to type now..2 reports pending..gtgn..cheers

I have many things to rant but simply don't have the time to post it. I will when I have the time. Oh well somethings just don't go my way. There muz be some reasons why. I'm feeling a bit down these days. It's normal lah...as if I'm the only one feeling like this. ok will update soon especially Kaysan pics. He was so adorable yesterday as he turned 4 mths old already!!! He's always the one who brighten up my day after a long day at work.(",)

So far my day was not to bad..just feeling sleepy..as usual...haiz...felt better now...maybe because I was too tired until I woke up crying instead. At the same time "Je m'ennuie vraiment de lui trop". Ok I took some pics of Kaysan..enjoy...;)

Ain't loving it...

Normally if I didn't go back home for the night, it's either I hangout with my friends till wee at night/morning or overnight at my friend's house but last night..haiz... I ended up doing the visual display at Suntec City till 6.30am!!!So the next time if u see the 'ugly' visual displays at 'The Executive' you know it was done by Erwina. But surprisily when I slept at 7am, I woke up 6hrs later.Bottomline I'm not sleepy anymore...is there something wrong with me?? Oh well whatever...all my weenends plans for the week are cancelled unfortunately~crying~So what I'm going to do is just get more rest and my sis lend me the Harry Porter DVD(pirated ones duh! haha). Most prob going to watch later at night. Tomorrow back to work.

But one thing for sure that I can make up for my plans the coming week.Hopefully.

P/s: I'm blogging while Kaysan on my lap..hehe;)

Days that flies very fast...and it's weekends tomorrow!!! Okay...what am I going to do during the weekends? Sad to say that I've not gotten my pay yet. It'll be in my a/c before the 8th. So I can still say I'm 'broke'..as in no money to spend. I have to control myself. Those money that is in the other a/c is meant for my 'rainy days'...oh well then just more DVDs to watch lah..still have many others which I've not watched yet!!!haha maybe watch that 'special' DVD with Pau if she's available tomorrow..hehe and maybe check out something on the net. If it's available on weekends I want to do it..Can't tell you yet..hehe And Rachel told me to go to Suntec City on Sun after their opening hours(that would be after 10.30pm!!) to check their visual displays and give them some ideas for their Christmas decorations. Yup I've done mine at Zadi. It was ok for me. Rachel kinda like it . I wish to put that cute teddy but don't want to overdecorate it...ok that's it for now...going to take a quick shower, do nightly reports and head to sleep at 11pm(if possible) Ok peeps have a great weekend!!!
