Ok... i guess i'm the only weirdo in this world who would use a $50 note as a bookmark for a manga i borrowed at the library....
Just after I announced that I wanted to read Furuba, I found it!!! Around 6 of it at bizit lib!!! Wahahaha!!! So happy....
Fruits Basket is really a nice manga as the characters are well-introduced and the story moves at just the right pace!!!
And many nice little philosophies of life are also shown in this manga series...
One that I'm quote is really a good one. It sort of really calms down a person especially for someone like me who really can worry over nothing and the future. This is quoted from Shigure and I hope this would help people who might be confused to feel much better.
Shigure:
When you get anxious about the future, it's better not to think about it. For example, let's say that you are surrounded with a mountain of laundry, piled so high around your feet that you can't move. Now, let's assume that you don't have a washing machine, so you have everything individually by hand. You would be at a loss for what to do, right?
You'd worry about it if you could ever wash everything, if you could get it all clean, if you ever have time for anything but laundry ever again! The more you'd think about it, the more anxious you get. But time keeps passing, and the laundry doesn't wash itself. So what do you do?
It might be a good idea to start washing the laundry right at you feet. Of course, it's important to think about what lies ahead too, but if you only look at what's down the road, you'll get tangled in the laundry at your feet and you'll fall, won't you?
You see, it's also important to think about what you can do now, what you can do today. And if you keep washing things one at a time, you'll be done before you know it!!!
Sometimes, the anxiety will start to well up, but when it does, take a little break. Read a book, watch TV or eat soumen with everyone.
And i found the official translation for the sad story that i used to post before!!! I've watched the anime before and i cried. The manga ver. makes me wanna cry too. Here goes the official story:
The Most Foolish Traveller in the World
A Foolish Traveller was on a journey. He was stupid because he was easily tricked. The townspeople took advantage of him. On that journey, he was tricked into gicing away all his money, clothes, and shoes. But the foolish traveller was foolish, so when the townspeople lied to him saying, " This would really help...", tears would stream down his face and he would say, "Please be happy." When he gave away his last belonging, he was naked and ashamed to be seen, so he decided to travel in the forest.
Then he met the monsters who lived in the forest. They wanted to eat him, so they tricked him with clever words. Of course, the traveller was fooled and when the monsters asked, he gave up his arms and his legs. Eventually, the traveller was nothing but a head. He even gave his eyes to the last monster he met. As the monster munched on his eyes he said, "Thank you. I'll give you this in return," and left him.
But that was a lie too. His gift was a single piece of paper that had 'Baka' (fool) written on it. But the traveller cried and cried, saying "Thank you. Thank you. This is the first time anyone's given me anything. I'm so happy. Thank you. Thank you."
And tears kept flowing from his eye sockets. While he was crying, he died.
By Momiji:
While people who heard this story and laughed, I closed my eyes and thought about the traveller. I though about the traveller who was tricked into being nothing but a crying head saying, "Thank you." and I thought how lucky he was. Loss and suffering... It's pointless to think about them. The traveller didn't think about them. That might be stupid to some people, but it's not stupid to me. I won't trick anyone, even if other people think that person deserves it. I just want to make them happy.
What do you think? ^_~

Haha... I love mysterious stuff!!! haha... if anyone read Matantei Loki....
Fushigii Mystery~~~~ >_< hahaha....
I guess the myth that i researched most is about Norse Mythology. After that, for a moment I went researching about Satan and stuff, but got freaked out (literally) due to one particularly creepy site.
I wanted to do some research about Vampires... then i realised that, well, vampires are more like story characters rather than a myth. I mean Dracula's just a jerk, a bloodsucker who tortures his own people.... Pathetic....
Then through reading comics, I learn much more about Japanese Myths... which are both fun and meaningful... Such as not cutting your nails at night, or else, you won't be able to see your parents to the Other World(not attend the funeral).
A logical explanation that most people can come up with is that you'll cut yourself if you cut your nails at night... it's dark....
And then, well, there's something called electric light bulbs.... but then it's an old superstition and you dun get electricity about a few hundreds years ago...(except lightning)
So why not cut you nails at night? There must be a lesson or moral behind the story for it to be passed on through so many generations... If you use the above explanation, you'll find that it doesn't satisfy the second part of the myth. At most, you'll attend your parents' funeral with one missing toe or finger....
One stupid boy who was born on April Fool's Day(Watanuki) decided to cut his toenails one night before going to bed. Snip! Snip! Snip!
The next morning, he was found dead with his head cut off nicely (this was not true... but well, it could've happened if that person din save him...)
Whatever that had killed him was definitely something that existed a long time ago (before electricity was invented :P) Not only humans live in this world, but there also other stuff that exist in this world that humans do not accept or recognise. Therefore, someone would definitely chance upon such creatures. Humans would remember such beings and classify such incidents as fear. But most people would not believe such rare incidents, therefore victims would usually pass down such coded messages to warn people.
Kyakakakaka... Thanks to CLAMP for the above advice... XD
This story should about 60% non-fiction... but anyways... I love XXX Holic!!! Cool!!! And it crossovers with Tsubasa Chronicles!!! Hahahahaha.... So i think i'm forced to read all of CLAMP's works... I JUST CAN'T STAND NOT DIGGING OUT SOMETHING'S PAST!!!! XD
Beware!!! I'm a potential stalker.... Mwahahahahahaha!!!!
... ... ... ... ... I know everything~~~~~ :D

YOU DIE!!!
Hahaha.... suddenly remembered Minekura Kazuya sensei's lame joke... So when you *do* meet 3 people who look like you, which one dies??? hahahaha... love tat part.... so baka....
After reading Don's blog, I felt so.... .... I just kept on thinking 'what the hell are you doing, don?' cause i totally do not understand wat's going on... seems like she's working in some kind of tuition center??? haha... dunno... dun care :P
Here i am in school today early in the morning, cause my mum chased me out of the house just so that she can mop the whole house without me disturbing her.... cruel... >_<'''
So i woke up at about 8+, ate the longest bfast i've ever had till 10 and then left for school.... so sitting in the train...sitting, listening to my mp3... looking around.... when I saw MICHELLE!!!
Haha... no lar... jus a SHELL look alike.... reminds me of the old secondary school days.... So, i saw this gal at clementi, she reminds me so strongly of shell.... Why???
Cause she's wearing a sec sch uniform, in GREEN house of the school (can see from her green P.E. t-shirt under her uniform), and extremely long skirt....Kyahahahaha....
Yep, the skirt... the first thing that reminds me of shell, haha, especially the skirt.... cause everytime shell buys a new school skirt, it will be sooooooooo long..... People make sure their skirts' length is above their knee, while hers is definitly under her knee... haha.... it's just so her....
All what I'm doing now is just downloading Naruto manga... guess it is a nice manga after all.... oh yar, and i'm reading Kingdom of Hearts too.... I recommend this to everyone cause it's just one of those rare time where you can see all of Disney's heros and heroines in one manga... cool... and cute at the same time!!! :D
And just to continue from the last post.... i managed to find one fanfic about licking honey and chocolate sauce off XXX.... kyahahahaha.... but like i said, it's getting boring liao... =_=;
At last!!! I found someone who hates chocolates jus like me!! She's a classmate from my jap class... i quite like her cause she's the straight-foward type... So when i passed both jap past yr papers and she failed both, she'd stare at me as if i'm her sha fu chou ren.... haha.... den after that we jus laugh and say, 'still got 2 mths lar... got enough time... hahaha..... ..... .....'--> both of us are still so not confident!!! @_@; She's really a nice fren and it's really the fastest time when I've bonded so well with a new fren... haha....miracle for a loner like me...
And at last!!! I found another person who is also interested in BL!!! haha!!! Jie Leng!!! woohoo... so happy.... i found about it yesterday when we went to Ginza together.... so we started talking about BL manga that she had read online... but of course, since i'm more perverted than her, the decent comics that she's reads doesn't really appeal to me.... but still i like the fact that she's a BL fan!!! And at the shop, she actually asked the store owner if there's any BL manga.... haha... it seems that it's really a decent comics rental store, cause there's only one set of BL manga... -_-;
Haha... borrowed from her the newest harry potter book liao... the plot's getting from bad to worse.... it's so dysfunctional!!! There's so many facts that i can't accept such as....
WHY pair up Ginny and Harry??? --> it's the weirdest pairing in history!!!
WHY not develop relationship between Ron and Hermione??? --> since they've been through thick and thin together, they have a better reason to be paired up!!!
WHY Harry has to quit school jus because Dumbledore died??? --> this is so crap... what's the point???
So far, these are all I've heard from Jie Leng lar... dun even feel like reading it liao... it sounds as if the author is trying really really hard to make Harry seem like a hero jus because he wants to break up with Ginny cause he doesn't want to 'get her involved'.... the ultimate crap.... Definitely Harry Potter series loses its appeal liao... it loses it's appeal ever since Cedric Diggory and everyone else dies.... It's now a book full of crap....
If I were Voldermort, I'd rather make everyone into my slaves!!! Wahahaha!!!
So people who doesn't want their brains to turn into marshmallows, DO NOT read from bk 4 onwards of Harry Potter....
Haha... oOps.... din noe i'm been flaming all the while... oh well, Artemis Fowl is 10x better than Harry Potter and is worth 100x to be made into a movie...

AT LAST!!!! I'VE FOUND IT!!! A fanfic that exactly matches the descriptions of Don's desires!!!
Kyaaahahahahaha!!!
So one day I was surfing the net, chanced upon a yaoi fanfic website and guess what? One of the fanfics has the licking thing in it!!! The only slight difference is that the author used ice-cream instead of chocolate sauce..... hahaha.... the moment i read that part, i immediately thought of the licking sauce thingy... hahaha.... okok....
This website is a cool one (?)... cause the author even read books on human body parts in order to try and write out these smutty fics much more realistically... What I'm gonna put down here is what the author has found out from her 'research'... It's quite graphic so people who hates sex and bodily functions associated with sex, do not read it!!!
Oh yar, before you start screaming 'ALP IS A PERVERT!!!', this is actually not totally about sex... more like what happens to your body when you have sex... I personally think it's quite educational (?)... haha... sounds weird, but i learnt quite some (decent) stuff....
Here goes:
"Generally, the younger the man, the more eager. And vice versa, older men take it slower. This is the good part in pairing a young uke and an older seme: Inexperienced men are also prone to premature ejaculation. So making the uke come twice is actually realistic."
"You can find detailed explanations in any medical/biological book from the local library, look for sexual health/disorders. Basically what happens is that blood is pumped into the penis and due to some anatomical reasons, it stays there, making the penis bigger, harder and pointing up. Notice, that the erect penis is likely to point towards the navel, not straight forward or up. So if the erection is under clothing, it's likely resting against the pelvic area even when the man is standing. Only when the clothes are gone, it points straight forward (that's gravity working). Again, depending on the state of arousal (mildly, very and about to burst) and the age of the man, the angle varies. But, when the man is laying down, it does not point to the sky. No, it's flat across the lower abdomen. "
"I've heard a nice little saying about young men. "Erections are like the London subway: The trains come and go in two minutes."
"Erections don't stay that way forever. Distract them, and it's gone. Prolonged erection can even be quite painful. That's why Viagra is on prescription, healthy males taking it may wind up with a stiffness that just won't go away, and then they have to get to a doctor to put it down 'cause men can't pee with a hard on, and after some hours it's absolutely awful. "
"The sperm is also individual. The amount varies from the person to the frequency of coming. Generally it's just 2-3 teaspoons. And it tastes different depending on the man's diet. Lots of alcohol, meat and medication can make it really nasty, but fruit neutralizes it. Sometimes it's even a bit sweet. But mostly it tastes a little like... uh, I'd say plain chicken."
"Then there is the subject of the butt. Try fingering yourself. The sphincter is a really tight muscle. You need to be gentle with it. Abrupt intrusion is most likely painful, and cramming anything bigger than a finger there with no preparation and/or lube can cause tearing.
You don't have to like it, hell even most men don't like it. But some do, and fortunately for us (and their partners) there is the "magic spot" inside the male rectum. It's called prostate. Hard to find, it's the "male G-spot". Or more accurately, G-spot is the female equivalent of prostate. You're not likely to hit it in any position, you have to have the right angle, and even then it's not like a penis of any kind will stimulate it with every move. But when it does, it can be very pleasurable. Often it can produce instant orgasm. "
"Most of the pleasure of butt sex comes from three sources: The feeling of intimacy, the sensations around the rim, and indirect stimulation of the prostate. This is straight in comparison with the standard f/m sex. Woman's main source of orgasm is the clitoris, and normal intercourse gives only little if any stimulation. Majority of women can't come without direct attention to the clit. But still most enjoy intercourse. Why? Because it's so intimate. "
So here's the site if someone's wants to read it in full detail: http://www.rautalanka.net/rinoa/smut.html
And for people who wants to read her fic: http://www.rautalanka.net/rinoa/fics.html

More Furuba philosophies of Life:

This is a small part of a story of a girl i knew....
She met a guy for 12 days.... they broke up for 12 days.... Then she realised she was pregnant.
She managed to patch back with the guy... for 12 days. She dare not tell him the truth. Unable to keep the secret to herself, she told some of her frens. One of them told the guy and he told her, "Get rid of it..." She don't want to and they broke up. People around her told her not to keep the baby. Now she's confused and lost....
That's about what I've heard, Don..... yep...
Not that I'm evil or wat.... it's jus tat everytime i see her, i feel so relieved...
Just when i start thinking about how lame or boring my life is, she pops up and reminds me tat actually it is sometimes lucky to be bored...
So thanks to her... I found my strength to 'live' again....
Fruits Basket is a good comic... full of the author's personal philosophy of Life.... For example:
There are a lot of people who are afraid to admit that they're still children. They do everything they can to avoid it. So who people who can admit that have a lot of Courage.
A person is like a plum in a Japanese rice dumpling. Just as how the plum hides at the back of the dumpling, everyone's good points are also hidden in their back. That's why they often do not see what they're good at and only see what they are lousy at.
When you get older, the things you didn't understand when you were a child start to make sense. "When this happened, I should have done that". You start to understand rather than regret. It's much more closer to Repentence..
Well... Watching Peacemaker... continue some other time... :)

The course is fun but very very tiring ar... It starts on yesterday, 4th of Oct and ends this Fri, 9th Oct... It seems tat out of the 6 ppl who signed up for the course in my class, only 2 ppl got in; me and another classmate... and one thing, even though me and tat classmate talked a lot and became quite good friends.... I still dunno her name!!! Ok... let's just say that I forgot what her name is =_=; I really have a lousy memory... haha.... Ok... I've got an inkling she's calledKai Ling....
So then after doing my first ever JLPT past yr paper... i got 35 out of 60 =_=; haiz~ I've got this whole section of 10 qn all wrong!!! but then i realised... i got it wrong caused i haben learnt it yet!!! Haha... so phew.... Hope that i can pass the real test... And yar... the class combines the 3rd yrs and 2nd yrs together... so basically, the second yrs have to study 3 semesters of Jap in 2 months to prepare for the test... At Changi... 4th Dec...
Yesterday's 2nd half of the lesson as well as today's lesson, the class concentrated in Listening test... something that i am GOOD at!!! Wahahaha.... I'm even better than the 3rd yrs... this is the only section that i have confidence in having almost FULL MARKS!!! But there's always these stupid careless mistakes... x_X;
I've got this question in my mind... do all Japanese guys speak like an Uke??? Haha... not that I'm a pervert, or tat I've listened to too much BL cds, it's just that the guy speaking in the test tape for the listening test sounds so Uke!!! Haha.... okok... jus because he speaks quite lightly and erm, nicely and not so manly doesn't means he's Uke, rite???? So it's just me... =_=;
I took a look at my bank book and guess wat??? I only have $100+ for my salary!!!! OMG!!! I'm so broke... jus when I was thinking of buying Detective Conan movie as well as renting a whole load of anime and manga at Ginza.... I so feel like killing myself...
Lucky I had other sources of entertainment... I've downloaded quite a few games to play... Castlevania:Aria of Sorriow, CCS, Fire Emblem, and Kingdom of Hearts...
Castlevania is a 2d running platform adventure game. It's almost the same as Shaman King... no wonder ppl says that Shaman King copied almost 75% of Castlevania... So it's somehow a game i can get use to fast but also a game which is slightly much more difficult and confusing den Shaman king.
CCS, Cardcaptor Sakura game... It's in simple Japanese, so i can understand most of the plot, and it follows the second season of the anime anyways, so i dun even need to really noe what's going on... The beginning's cool cause the anime opening is literally copied into the game. The whole thing is basically made up of lots of talking anf mini-games.
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.... Ok... It sounds familiar as i if i had played earlier versions of it, but i jus can't remeber.... I like this series cause it's much more of a strategy type and well, the characters start out as quite strong, so u don't die easily... :p
Kingdom Of Hearts: Chain of Memories... Love this game!!! Haha... cause i luv Sora!!! He's so witty and cute!!! Kingdom of Hearts started out as a PS game, and then they came out the gba ver about memories kind of stuff, so players would get to know briefly what had happened and not feel lost... The method of gameplay is quite fun and interactive. As long as u get into contact with any enemies, you start a battle and beat up these Heartless single-handedly... haha... fun... And you get to go to areas such as Agrabah and Wonderland... sounds familiar??? Yep, their locations in various Disney tales... so this games is based on Disney's various stories...
Ah, gotta go liao... meeting lin yin!!! haha... wonder wat stories i will hear.... haha...
