Cosmic Peacock

Hello Everyone
Whilst trying to tidy my craft room the other afternoon, I came across a set of cosmic shimmer water colour paints pristine in packet, so I may have got slightly distracted from the tidying and may have had to play instead.
I have white heat embossed, a beautiful peacock stamp, from Stampin Up, and then painted it with the cosmic shimmers. In real life this has the most glorious sheen to it - think I will have to get my ladies in my class to try this.
I would like to enter it in the following challenges;
Alphabet Challenge - P is for Pelican, Peacock or other birds
The Stamping Boutique - no designer paper
2 Creative Chicks - anything goes
The Artistic Stamper - things with wings
The Sisters Of Craft - anything goes

This week we would like to see some 'Embossing' on your male orientated creations. This can either be dry embossed, like mine or you can use heat embossing, the choice is yours.
I have been playing with my Stampin' Up owl builder punch again, and have made Spider Owl, The backgrounds have been dry embossed using a Tim Holtz folder for his web. The black layer has also had some silver gilding wax added to highlight the design.

Through The Window

Hello Everyone
Just thought I'd stop by and share one of my cards from this weeks class. It uses the new Hearth and Home thinlet die from Stampin' Up - think it's my new favorite die as it is so versitile for both male and female cards, and a stamp from the retired Moonlake stamp set, which I have coloured with ProMarkers. I have kept it fairly simple, so hopefully it looks like you are looking out of a window in an ordinary room.
I would like to enter me card in the following challenges;
4 Crafty Chicks - birthdays
As You Like It - favorite die and why
Time Out - make your mark
Moo Mania - landscape

Incy Wincy - for the boys
Love To Scrap - do a double take

Tool Box

Hello Blogland
Today sees another of my favorite box cards. This time round it is for the new challenge over at Penny's Paper Crafty, where this week we are looking for you creations 'using a sentiment'. There are 2 sponsors this time round Crafty Sentiments and Deedee's Designs.
I got to choose which I'd like to work with, so choose Tool Time from Deedee's. As soon as I say it, I knew I wanted to turn it into a tool box. The panels have been stamped with a wood grain stamp, brown on brown, and then have been run through a wood grain embossing folder to give more detail. Even the support struts are stamped and embossed. Hopefully this will be an ideal card for a D.I.Y. lover.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Deep Ocean - for the boys
Crafty Cardmakers - no patterned paper
Get Creative - no printed papers
Incy Wincy - anything goes
