Embossing With A Difference 2

Morning All.

I can't believe how fast the weeks are flying by, it will be September tomorrow - where did summer go. Apologises also for my lack of blogging, but what with the children being off, and a hubby with a hernia driving me potty crafting has taken a bit of a back seat. Anyway he's in hospital today being dealt with, the kids are back at school Monday and Wednesday so hopefully normal will return soon.

Wednesday means the new challenge starts at Fab 'n' Funky, and this week we would like to see loads of embossing. I have borrowed a lovely Cuttlebug folder from my friend Cally, to create my simple Christmas card. I have sewn beads to the embossed dots where the 'snow' was faling, glamour dusted the other raised areas, a bit of matting and layering, and Bobs your uncle a quick and simple card.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;

Creative Card Crew - anything goes

Partytime Tuesday - anything goes

Ooh La La Creations - no backing papers

One Stop Crafts - anything but a square

Crafts For Eternity - Christmas theme

and

Charisma Cardz - glitter it

Thanks for looking, and I'll see you tomorrow.

Angelic

Morning All.
Well it's wednesday morning, and therefore it's time for the next challenge over at Fab'n'Funky. Our sponsor this time round is 'Fred She Said', so why not pop on over and check out the ther fab DT cards and join in with some festive fun.
I have gone back to my old favourite stamps for my card - good old LOTV. The paper is by Sandylion and has been in my stash forever. The image is coloured with Promarkers, and I have used the new add on ultra fine nibs to do the holly and berries in her headress, which made life far easier. (I now have the full range of Promarkers in my shop, plus ultra fine nibs, a selection of Aquamarkers, and most exciting of all the new Flexmarkers should be with me in September - can't wait). Also the holly charm is from my little shop.

Friends

Morning All.
Well what a lovely sunny morning it is today, I'll probably be moaning later that its too hot, the kids are bickering and I dislike the summer holidays. But hey, at the mo, it is bright and cheerful, the birds are singing sweetly, and the children are playing nicely - life is good.
It's time to introduce the latest challenge over at Fab 'n' Funky, and this week our theme is 'Friendship', - a nice easy one after last weeks colours that clash.
I choose to use my new Humphreys corner stamp, which was simply adorable to colour. I have kept the layout simple, and just added one of the large roses that I am now stocking in my shop, to finish the card. I must admit I am far happier with this weeks card.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Forever Friends - pastel colours
Craft Us Crazy - anything goes
Charisma Cardz - 4 legged friends
Stampin' For The Weekend - anything with 4 legs
Craft Your Passion - anything goes
Passion For Promarkers - hugs and kisses
Ladybug Crafts Ink - favourite stamp
Creative Card Crew - put your best foot forward
and
Crazy Amigo's - anything goes
Thanks for looking and please pop over to the main blog to have a look at the other fab DT cards.
I'll be back soon.
