Adelaide was sick earlier this month, and now the boys are down for the count. In addition, our elderly van turned over for the last time. It was old enough to have a high school diploma, so let's just say it graduated. Steven actually threw up at the Honda Dealer, all over a new vehicle (the outside, thankfully). So, it's been a pretty crazy weekend. We're all a little frazzled. The boys "resting" and fighting along side the TV ninjas. Over the holidays, there was a big change for a couple people in our family. Granny and Papa moved into an independent living center called the Belmont. It was a big change for everyone. But, a quick trip to the Belmont assured them that the loving feeling they felt at Granny and Papa's came from the people, not the home. They loved the new apartment, the fun amenities, and especially the popcorn machine. Adelaide even asked if we could all retire there, because it felt like a vacation hotel. Eating popcorn with Granny! Also, playing tic-tac toe. Visiting a local French bakery with Granny and Papa January has been a slower month for us. Catching up around the house, getting back into the swing of things, and re-instating homework time (noooo!). Yes, Eleanor wore those bears to church.
