11 months

The babies are now 11 months! We only have one more month until they are a year. I can't believe how fast it has gone by.
Paige Anne - Paige loves to stand on anything and everything. Troy thinks she will be the first to walk and she is full of smiles and laughter! Paige is 20lbs!!!
Paige is such a sweetie! I just love to squeeze her. She has two teeth on the bottom and one coming in on top.

Reagan Faith - Reagan is our squealer. When her and Brooke get to squealing it is so cute, but so so loud. Reagan is only 16lbs, 4 lbs lighter than her sisters. She may be the smallest, but she is the oldest.
Reagan has two teeth on bottom and two on top, but one is much bigger than the other. She is like a little snaggle tooth. Reagan is crawling all over and pulling up on everything. She still has her heart murmur and we are waiting to see if our insurance will cover the echo cardiogram she needs because it is a preexisting condition.

Kara Grace - Kara is doing great! She was the first to get teeth and loves to show them off. She is now crawling just like the other girls and pulling up on everything as well.
Kara loves to clap, wave, and say, "bye-bye"

Our nanny, Bonnie, feeding the twins in the morning.

Paige's dimple on the left cheek is a bit deeper than Karas. It's one way to tell them apart. (There are not many)

You can see Paige's deep dimple and Kara's teeth are bigger right now. Kara also likes to wrinkle up her nose when she smiles.
Kara & Paige are quite pale. I wished they could be in the Twilight movies to afford college for them or at least sunscreen. Reagan has all the hair, but it's in the front only. So cute!

Poor Reagan is in the middle again. She screams really loud if Kara or Paige crawl on her or take something away. She thinks she is an only child.
I snuck turning Kara & Paige around a month early in their car seats to see how it would be. It made a huge difference in the space in our car. I was ready to trade the SUV in for a minivan or 8 passenger bus, but we will have to keep it for a while longer.
Troy and I took all the girls to Chick-fil-A while we had a showing on the house this afternoon. They did great and of course we got a lot of stares. You would think we would be used to it by now. Brooke is a proud and wonderful big sister. The babies just light up when she comes into the room. She can make them laugh, but just looking at them. It's so wonderful! We are blessed!

10 months

I blew it with the 9 month picture and update. I hope it doesn't mess the babies up for life, but it's been crazy around here. My surgery, our house on the market, building a new house - whew! Things are good and I have recovered just fine, but I sure wish this house would sell. I know it's in God's hands and in His plan, but I think once again He is giving me a lesson in patience. Wasn't 6 months of bed rest enough? It's been six months on the market now. The showings are about to put me over the edge with the babies naps and keeping everything clean. Just breathe, Just breathe...
The babies and Brooke are doing fantastic! They are ALL over the place. Reagan and Paige are expert crawlers and pulling up on everything! Kara can crawl, but she will stay in one spot the longest. Thank you Kara!
They are sleeping great and still share a bedroom, separate cribs though. Paige will stand up and look through the bars into Kara's crib and spit raspberries at bedtime. It is so funny. Reagan is the only one who takes a pacifier while sleeping.
REAGAN FAITH
Sweet little Reagan. She is the oldest, but the smallest still, only 3%ile and 15lbs. Don't let the size full you though, she has a set of lungs on her. She loves to squeal and it is very high pitched. She is still happy go lucky and will let anyone pick her up. She does not like it if her sisters crawl on her or pull her hair. She will yell really loud and we come running. Reagan is also an expert with her little pinchers (index finger & thumb). She can find a speck of salt on the floor.
You can see the faded bruise on her forehead from falling on the tile. Poor baby!

Look at that face!!! I just love it. She looks like the Easter bunny with the big bow on her little head or maybe Minnie Mouse. Reagan also has three teeth. Two on the bottom and one on the top.
PAIGE ANNE
Paige is our most athletic girl! She crawls like a champ and pulls up on anything. She goes straight for the fireplace and straight for the stairs. She doesn't like being confined in the Jumperoo or Exersaucer because she is on the move. That girl is going to drive me to drink. It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have all tile and wood, but I just cringe each time they wobble or fall.
Paige is 50%ile and is 18lbs. She and Kara look so much bigger than Reagan because they take after me with the size of their heads - BIG. Troy has a really small head - we can't share hats. His hats just sit on top of my head like a birthday hat and my hats cover his eyes. I guess that is how it will be for the girls too.
Paige has two teeth on the bottom and one coming in on the top.

KARA GRACE
Look at those two teeth on the bottom. Paige may have been the first to crawl, but Kara was the first to get teeth. She loves to show them off too. Kara still sleeps like a champ. Bonnie, our nanny, thinks she looks like Troy when she makes this face. She is also 50%ile and 19lbs.

Kara loves to smile. Our little Kara Boo.
Kara & Reagan love to clap and Paige loves to dance.
EVERYTHING goes in their mouth. The blocks are nothing but chew toys now.

No, THIS is the Troy face. It's actually Kara showing off her teeth.
Poor Reagan doesn't like being squished in the middle anymore. I also had to take the bows off because they would have just pulled them off of each other.

Reagan and Paige are having a moment and Kara is in deep thought.
Lots of fingers and lots of toes to love on.

Yummy blocks!

8 months

The triplets are now EIGHT months!
Reagan Faith, Kara Grace, & Paige Anne
Reagan Faith
Reagan is still tiny, but she now weighs 15lbs. She will go to anyone and loves to smile and squeal in utter joy.
Reagan had her EKG and Chest x-ray for her heart murmur on Friday, Feb. 19th. At this point, we are going to have to get an echo cardiogram. The EKG and x-ray looked good, but the doctor was not comfortable saying it was harmless due to the way it sounded. It could be one of three things 1. A harmless murmur that will go away, 2. a thick valve (which would be okay), or 3. a hole between the walls of the top chambers. If it is a hole, she may have to have a prodecure when she is 2 or 3 to alleivate it. We will know for sure once we have the echo in a few weeks. It is nothing that is life threatening or will require an open heart surgery and she doesn't have any symptoms related to it, so we feel good.
Reagan is so good with her fine motor skills. Those fingers reach and grab for anything. She could probably pick up a grain of rice. You can almost see the exploration going on in her eyes.
Paige Anne
Look at the belly! I just love it. Look at those big eyes, so sweet!

Paige is still excelling in her gross motor skills. She is sitting up wonderfully and rocking back & forth on all fours. She will be crawling very soon! Paige still gets up in the night and ends up in bed with us a few times a week. I don't mind though, if she needs that then it's okay. I enjoy the one-on-one cuddling time.

Look at the face! Such a big girl.

Now, that looks like a little stinker.
Kara Grace
Kara is always full of smiles!
She is great at sitting up and sleeps wonderfully. She is the only one who naps in her bed. They others are still napping in swings.
I used to think they look funny in the headband bows, but now I think they look so cute!
This month may be it for the blocks. All they wanted to do was reach, grab and eat them.
Kara & Paige are checking out each others bows. You can see Kara's little red mark on her neck, so we can still tell them apart.
The twins still have some stranger anxiety. It is better, but it is still best not to look at or talk to them. ha! Thank goodness for Reagan. You can talk to or hold her all you want. We are SO glad she was the one who had to have the EKG and x-ray. You would have heard the twins screaming miles away.
Paige is loving Kara's bow. Kara can't see though.

Look at Paige sitting up! And look at those crossed baby feet. so cute!

You have to be very, very quick when you want a picture of all three.
Little sweeties!

EVERYTHING goes in their mouth.
Once again, you have to be super quick or....
they will be all over the place. You have about a 30 second window before they are moving. Paige is getting ready to crawl. Her and Reagan both get up on all fours and rock back and forth.
It is time to set up our big fenced in gate for the girls. If we walk out of the living room for just a second they will scoot or roll off the rug and on to the tile. We have even found them almost all the way under the couch - just a head sticking out.

Bonnie and I were trying to get Paige to crawl.
R-E-A-C-H!!!
She almost has it!
Got it! Straight into her mouth!

Austin Half Marathon (Valentine's Day)

Austin Half Marathon
Valentine's Day!

What a romantic way to spend Valentine's Day! We took all the girls on a road trip to Austin to stay with my brother Ronnie and Sarah. Ronnie, Troy, and I ran 13.1 miles. My mom, Bobby, Alaina & Sarah did the 5K, so it was a family affair. It was so fun to have the whole family together doing what we love - running! It was a beautiful day and a great way to see Austin, although, my shins would be happier if Austin was flat like Houston. Wow! Those hills were alive.
Congratulations Mom! You did a great job in the 5K race.

Troy and I on 6th street very early in the morning before the race.

We finished! We RAN Austin.

A family affair (in front of the capitol)
Ronnie, Sarah, Erika (mom), Heather (me), Troy, Alaina, & Robert
The Capitol of Texas!
We started and finished right at the capitol. We ran from the back of it around the side and finished right in front. It was great!
We brought our nanny, Bonnie, with us and she watched the babies while we all ran. It was a great weekend because she is from Austin and we were able to meet her family.
