Happy Halloween...

Cold as black ice, creeping though the night. 

Spooky shadows at your side. 

Shriving as the beast approaches you. 

You jump as something wet,
 And slimy touches your arm. 

You scream as the moonlight vanishes. 

Then you hear a sound.

 You hear it again, the sounds getting closer. 

Into the misty shadows you hear someone scream...

Thunderstorms...

Fireworks start, the game has began,
Blasting sounds of thunder fill the room,
With the flaming lights of the sky,
Candled lit rooms, with flashlights at the ready,
The war has began, with the struggle of power,
The struggle for internet, the fight for electricity,
Flick flash, flick flash, boom, boom thunder,
Sleepless nights, with moonless skies,
Freezing cold wetness,
The smell Of worms in the night,
The roaring, sounds Of people bowling in the sky,
Children wanting to play in the mud,
As the war continues, as You start getting bored,
The lights flicker for the last time,
As you realize your now in the darkness,
You lost the battle, the storm has won,
Flashing lights, now and then, for seconds at a time,
What to do? You can't sleep, you can't eat,
All you can do is sit, and wait in the darkness!
